Review Burger Bueno - Dallas

If you want good TexMex, I recommend this restaurant. A lot of good options on their menu.

Service was great but the bf quesadilla was undercooked. Cheese was barely melted and soft tortilla.

Best Taco Bueno location there is in my opinion. They always make our food right and have friendly service even when there are large orders.

Very friendly employees I reccomend it there new nachos are pretty good.

Amazing place, food is ready as soon as you order it and aswell the place inside and out are always clean and the employees are always nice and respectful, my family and I keep coming to this place.

I eat here regularly during the week at lunch time. The food is always good, the place looks clean and smells clean. The staff is always friendly and efficient. I've never had a bad experience here in any way, just a great place overall. Too bad all fast food places aren't like this Taco Bueno location.

I love Taco Bueno. They've been around since forever. This location always has hot food and the drinks are always fresh. I wish they didn't close the one on Preston close to Frankford, that was my favorite location. Follow me 🙂

Excellent meal and good service.

My husband and I visit this location almost weekly. The food is always great! The only thing I would change about it is the customer service. They're great with us because we're regulars and they know us. I have, however, seen several customers come in and wait to order without being greeted. If you aren't sensitive about that kind of stuff, you'll be fine!

Taco Bueno has good food. This location was nice because it was not busy at all. The food was hot and fast. I ordered the Chicken Chilada Platter and it was made well. I love the enchiladas and the cheese sauce is amazing!

Went because the brisket coupons I had that had not yet expired but was told that promotion was over and they were now promoting brisket tamales - DELICIOUS!! I couldn't believe how authentic they tasted, not mass produced or commercialized tasting at all! Just wish they were bigger.

I do not like to be negative.   Normally if there is bad service or quality of food I do not write anything.  But, I thought over issue from yesterday and decided to.  I have been to this location now 4 times and until yesterday have really enjoyed both food and service. Yesterday, July 18 The owner and his wife were not there while we were, but instead young man( son?) and female waitress.  The young man took our order : specifically I ordered a #10 for boyfriend  (Ultimate Burger), and a #20 (Blue Cheese Chicken) for me.  I asked for jalapeno peppers on side, my boyfriend onion rings.  When his burger was ready they handed him his, and then mine.  They gave me the same #10 as his, no peppers.  I nicely said it was an error, I was supposed to have the #20.  Waitress and cook looked together at ticket, talked and soon young man came out and joined discussion.  I was starving, it was past 2 pm and as I normally have breakfast I had not.  I told them again my order was #20.  The waitress and cook apologized and began cooking my burger.  No exaggeration, by the time I had my burger brought to me, my boyfriend had eaten his entire ultimate burger and most of his onion rings.  I just drank water for the 10 - 15 minutes waiting.  So obviously, I was going to eat by myself while he waited on me. No jalapenos, so I asked for them. Apparently the written order ticket was completely wrong.   After my burger was finished, I reminded my boyfriend that he had paid for the more expensive #22 - which is not what I ordered.  There is a difference between Ultimate Chicken and Blue Cheese Chicken.  I received the Blue Cheese Chicken I ordered finally, because I had to tell the cook that was what I had ordered...but we were charged for 2 Ultimate Beef Burgers from get go.  So I went to counter and nicely reminded son this, he told me " You actually owe me money, you got the Ultimate Chicken, #22......".with a small bit of sarcasm...I looked up at menu, and for a second he actually confused me and made me think it was my error.  But then he looked like that was about all he was going to communicate. My burger was the blue cheese, it had blue cheese on it and this is not on an Ultimate.   I did not want to make a scene, and the price difference was insignificant.  <br/>But it is the principle.  I do not believe the owner would have presented this attitude, The young man never said he was sorry for error from the beginning, instead, it was the cook and waitress who had nothing to do with error.  Unfortunately, although I love the burgers here instead of continuing our patronage most likely we will not - because I am a firm believer in right is right, wrong is wrong, and customer service is relevant for me.

Really liked the food we got, but they didn't give any directions or talk much other than talking to you about how much your order is, and calling your number.  Just kind of going with the motions.  Not friendly but not rude either.<br/><br/>Aside from the food being pretty good for a good price, it is REALLY dusty inside.  If you look up on the light fixtures and ceiling fans... it's like 2 inches of dust up there. If they cleaned up, I'd probably eat there again.  If it's that dusty up there, who knows how clean everything else is they are using...

Nice little dive burger joint. Burgers are large and flavorful without being greasy. Only serves Pepsi not Coke so it loses a few points in my book. I tried the grilled cheese also. They use Texas Toast and 2 kinds of cheese. I had them add bacon. The sandwich was okay but really dry. The y do not butter the bread and fry it. Instead they put the bread on the brazier dry and when it is toasted they add the cheese and bacon then disappear into the back and come back with a sandwich with melted cheese. I don't know if they put it in some kind of heated sandwich press that melts the cheese or if they microwaved it or maybe put it in a hot oven. It didn't taste bad. It was just very dry

When I had to spend the night last week after surgery my wife got us a Mediterranean Chicken sandwich at this place and it was awesome as were their sweet potato fries! If you are up that way you need to stop in and enjoy!!!!

Today is like any other day. Lunch hour rush, you smell of burger bueno across Kuwait and around the building making everybody super hungry. as I walk in I see both the owners husband and wife song pop taking orders and cooking the food not because they have to but because they like doing so everything from this establishment has been great quality the size of the burgers the taste everything it's great I recommend the chicken sandwich even the salads BYOB come check it out you will regret it

Solid burger, hard to beat prices. All of the food I have ever had here has been good, not amazing, but good. The prices really separate it from other places. A hearty lunch for under $10 (no drink)? Sign me up

This place looks like a dive, but it is worth a stop. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are both fantastic. The burgers are large enough to feed two people and less you're very hungry

Overall Disappointment. I've never been treated so rudely or with such disrespect at a business establishment in my LIFE!<br/><br/>THIS was my very first visit. The woman who took my order was my at all interested in explaining the menu. I asked if there were any combos. I was told "No! Everything sold separate!" So I proceed to order a gyro with fried zucchini. The lady was very curt and unfriendly. <br/><br/>After I paid, I noticed the small wording at the top of the menu, reading combo (fries and drink) add $3. Why wouldn't she offer up this information? As soon as I ask her about it she yells, throwing her hands about to start an argument with me!!!!!.........WOW! At a restaurant.<br/><br/>Needless to say my appetite was ruined. The gyro was immensely dry. The zucchini over fried........<br/><br/>I even called back to the restaurant to try and get an understanding of what had transpired. Why and how she could be SO RUDE. Even then I was cut off, yelled at and told "So, we don't need your business!"<br/><br/>Obviously I won't return and am saddened by such an atrocity. By far my WORSE DINING EXPERIENCE EVER.

Mixed Feelings Great Burger. Burger Beuno was converted from Pollo Felize (Happy Chicken) a few years back. The place is a bit sketchy. The large Gold for Sale store does not create a curb appeal. I am all for hole in the walls (love 'em), but I want to feel safe too.<br/><br/>Inside looks better than outside; however, It does look and feel dirty. The table was not wiped down. The condiments lids were missing from most of the bottles, and they were visually nasty looking. I wanted to use the hot sauce, but thought better of it. Drinks are confusing too. I bought a fountain drink. The server never gave me a cup or said a word to me. I just sat down without my drink. About five minutes later a new customer arrived. After paying, he walked around the counter and helped himself to a drink. I then watched a third person do it. That was my queue that it must be okay to go behind their counter and help yourself.<br/><br/>On to the food, awesome. I loved the burger. The bun looks like a wonderbread basic, but it is not. It's oversized and has a hint of sweet. I liked it. The meat was smashed, which usually is not okay. It dries out the meat too fast and can never be pink in the middle. This burger was cooked through, but it managed to keep the juices. I loved each bite. The bleu cheese was in every bite. You get an A+ from me when that happens. The fresh avocado slices were good. It was just enough to add flavor. Overall the burger was really good, juicy and flavorful. Fries were decent. They look and taste like McDonalds with just a little better spices.<br/><br/>I gave this place a thumbs up because it's a burger place with a very good burger. Most burgers cost $5.95. The bleu cheese was $6.50. That's a great price for the size and taste. This is a hole in the wall, so know that when you decide to visit.

Meat patty not well done, they don't even ask you how you would like it cooked. I think they should since the patty is really thick and everyone has a different taste. Terrible mozzarella sticks from the burger place to my place, there is only 5 minutes. Arriving to my place they were already cold. "No marinara sauce, only ranch". Seriously? All bottled beverages are hot but don't worry there is an ice machine... That's great but I was planning on taking mine to go. Horrible customer service. Just give me the money and go.

Me no like. It's hard to make a burger I don't like, especially an independent purveyor. The burger has all the appeal of a room setvice burger. Watched it being made...how does it look right and be so wrong. Meat was dry tasteless and tough. I was the only customer and got tomato butts and tough onions that were as easy to chew as onion skins. Fries were unimpressive. Dirty mustard and sauce bottles on table. Worst was that the help had to mop with nasty bucket by my table. The well regarded gyro was turned off and mouldering. Bye wont be back.

Love it. The ultimate cheese burger is HUGE. The baklava made with rose water is out of this world. And u have to top the meal off with a Mexican Coca-Cola to drink!! Made with real cane sugar. Had our burgers cooked medium rare and they were spot on!! Will return every time I am in the arra.

Undecided. Had the ultimate cheeseburger - not bad, but 3 slices fake cheese kind of ruined it for me. Also, should have tried the fries because the fried zuchinni was awful. Based on everything I had read, thought everything was going to be fresh and homemade. Cooked to order and cooked using fresh ingredients from scratch are not the same thing. Probably will give it another try, but next time just a plain old burger and fries.

Tasty!!. Great burgers and delicious gyros. Nothing fancy, just great tasting food.

Great Place!. While the outside looks unassuming the food here is amazing. It's run by a small family and the cook who are both there every day but Sunday. The burgers are amazing as well as the crazy sides like Fried Macaroni and Cheese (think State Fair yumminess).

They have huge burgers and fries that taste great. Very large assortment of drinks in cooler and more from the fountain.

A very good burger. It not a fancy place for sure, but the man behind the the counter knows how to make a juicy burger without much fanfare. Not a small sandwich, but not unmanageable either. I had the plain Cheese Burger, all the fixins, and a side of fried pickles. Yum.<br/><br/>And check out their beverage cooler: more sodas, health and energy drinks that 7-Eleven. I did not get a chance to order the Turkish coffee: I will have to do that next time.

The Burger IS Bueno. If you want a good burger, this is a good place to find it. If you want a good burger in a fancy burger joint, this isn't the place. But for those times that food trumps atmosphere, this is a great place for you.

Big ass burgers!. These burgers are not meant for a casual lunch. Be ready to loosen your belt and make some room. I ordered the Ultimate Cheeseburger which included every topping they had to offer: 1/2 lb grilled patty, 3 slices of cheese, avocado, bacon, jalapenos, mushrooms, special sauce, plus the standard fixings. Add a side of fries and plan to take a nap afterward while your belly recovers from a delicious calorie overload. <br/><br/>The location is strip-mall boring on the outside, but clean and friendly on the inside. I'll definitely be returning. <br/><br/>Make sure to chew your food thoroughly though. As I was jokingly saying to my wife that I was about to have burger-induced heart failure, the guy in the next table began choking. The entire restaurant went silent as his buddy gave the Heimlich. Once the blockage was cleared, we continued our gorging. What a show!

Burger Bueno is the best. A friend recently suggested Burger Bueno. The burgers were great and the place is very clean, just south of Alpha on Coit (west side of the road). Friendly staff. Homemade lemonade. I only had a regular burger and it was pretty huge and a reasonable price cooked to order. I will go back soon. I usually eat burgers at Burgerhaus on Hillcrest near SMU, and those are good too, but these Burger Bueno burgers are very like home cooked.

Simply AMAZING!. So i basically hit this place up at least once a fortnight and OMG the food Literally INDESCRIBABLE! first the Gyros... ahh soo much meat! Mmmm and the burgers are just pure heaven. if your anywhere close to this restaurant u really need to stop by and check it out!

Wow. I found this place on urbanspoon because it was on the same block as my hotel ( I could literally see it from my hotel room also). It's small inside but luckily I went at a time they were not busy. I ordered a cheeseburger and sweet potato fries and the were just so good, the burger was huge and juicy with so much flavor and the fries were perfect. This place i so clean, they do everything right in front of you. You're even supposed to go behind the counter to get your fountain drinks. You also get so much food that you will most likely not finish it. Great burger place. Will come back next time i'm in town.

Gyros are just like NY. OMG! I went to Burger Bueno today because I had a taste for a Gyro and HOLY CRAP! They are huge, filling, tasty and authentic! The best in Dallas!

Best of the best. In my opinion, there is not a better burger spot in all of Dallas. Places like Jake's and Village Burger are decent, but compared to Burger Bueno they are drastically overpriced and can't hold a candle in terms of quality, taste and portion size<br/><br/>This place is a locally-owned, mom and pop shop that serves made to order, flame-grilled burgers right in front of your eyes. Their food prep is as transparent as can be, you see exactly what goes into the preparation of your food, and they use only the freshest meats, cheeses and toppings. The servings are beyond generous, the taste is beyond words, and the prices make it too good to be true. On top of that, the couple who owns it is as nice as can be.<br/><br/>I have never written a review for a restaurant before, but this place does everything the right way and deserves your business. It is locally owned, moderately priced, and in my opinion serves the best burgers, chicken sandwiches and gyros this side of the Mississippi. You owe it to yourself to give Burger Bueno a shot, you won't regret it!

WOW WOW WOW. I just had to wipe my drool from the keyboard<br/>I AM IN LOVE with Burger Bueno! I honestly can say that it is my favorite place for burgerS in all of Dallas. The burgers are HUGE & CHEAP and they do sure pack a flavor punch! Give this Mom and Pop shop a chance you won't regret it!

The burgers are cooked fresh and are a very good size. It's hard to finish one! They have a great variety as well. The gyros are very good also. I was very pleasantly surprised by this place and plan to return often.
