Review Razzoo's Cajun Cafe - Dallas

I got the GRILLED ALLIGATOR Over jambalaya rice & spicy “ouch” sauce, with green beans & garlic toast. It was amazing, well seasoned and evenly flavored. There were bits of shrimp mixed in the alligator as well. The bread pudding was to die for, sweet but not overly sweet. The texture was moist and nuts went well with the bread pudding. Razzoo’s also serves vanilla ice cream.

Great experience! Paul provided exceptional service and the food was delicious. Fun Cajun-style atmosphere. Expert tip: secret menu can be found online- we got a 2 for $20 deal including an appetizer and 2 full entrees!

Let’s DIG IN we were greeted right away. the food was great I had water, appetizer was alligator bites! Meal was shrimp etoufee! With garlic bread. ☺️ also ordered blackened fish with crawfish and garlic toast. The food was great overall. Our waiter Cylis or siylis was great as well fantastic service. Plenty of parking! Wheelchair accessible as well. No wait to be seated either. The place was decorated very nice with Christmas decor. Also they had plenty of tvs to watch while you dine. The bar was fantastic as well.

Food is a 10 out of 5. Great place. They know what flavor is Got a cup of gumbeaux aka gumbo and jalapeno catfish. Not spicy just soup eating heat.

I have yet to find a dish that I do not like. Everything is so good. From their drinks to the food. Atmosphere is great too. Love the decorations.

Loved sitting at the bar with Ashley. The rat toes were great! Would be better if they were fresh jalapenos. The stuffed shrimp was amazing. Definitely get the hurricane fresh-made. We will be back for sure!

The restaurant has a nice southern theme with some antiques placed throughout. The food came out fast and tasted great. Their dipping sauce for the crawfish was phenomenal. Prices seemed fair for the generous portion sizes and quality. I'd eat here again.

Food was very good and the atmosphere was fantastic! Our server was very friendly and took the time to explain some of the dishes and gave us recommendations as we couldn’t decide what to order because they had so many dishes to choose from! This is a must visit!

Razoos (3904 Dallas Pkwy, Plano, TX 75093) We went there with my family , the four of us decided to split on something like a platter , it's not that we are being cheap but we are not dead hungry to eat so much food especially if we already had something at work. My husband and I decided to order Seafood platter and my father-in-law and sister-in-law decided to order catfish platter and split it, Nap or Andy/Andrew was our server , he was okay , we told him that we will split both order , and everything was fine until.... He came back with our seafood platter (split) and one catfish platter , my father in law asked another server that the catfish platter is a split order and my sister in law's veggies and corn cub is not included , so the server apologized and told us that he could bring back the platter and split it , we told him not to bring it back because it's gonna get cold just bring the other catfish , the steamed veggies and corn and an extra plate , he came back with 3 extra catfish, steamed veggies and a corn , he apologized and assured us that everything was okay. when my father in law was about to pay he found out that he was charged 2 for the catfish platter , it took them 20 mins to even bring my sister in law's food. The manager came and he made us feel like we are taking advantage , we are not , we just want them to make our order correctly. Poor customer service , poor resolution , so sad because we've been there a couple of times and probably the last. hopefully whoever read this informed the management of our terrible experience. PS This is not the first time I had bad experience , the first one was a " slutty " server wrote a heart and a flirty comment on the receipt just to get a big tip , too bad I hold both our debit and credit cards , ending " no tip ".

this place has gone so far downhill. told the manager at the mesquite location about a horrible experience and he really couldn't have cared less. will never go back.

I am a server and I was very disappointed with the service we have to wait a very long time for someone to come and get our order once they got our order our food came but no one ever came back to check on us once we were done eating and ready for our checks we continue to wait till finally we got up and asked for our tickets I requested a manager but no one ever came I would not return to this location not because of the food but because of the service

I really enjoyed myself. I was with my family celebrating my great niece's graduation. Razzoo was where she wanted to go. I now see why. The food was delicious. Atmosphere was awesome. Everyone was so courteous.

Food is hit or miss. I always order the shrimp embrochette. Usually good even though the shrimp itself is small compared to other places. Usually pretty good but last time very overlooked and had a funny taste. Was sick after

Razzo's Is Just A Cool, Laid Back Place To Eat. I love this place! That is all.

This place is an armpit. If you want lousy service and can live with fried food that all tastes the same, this is your kind of place. Is that shrimp or a hushpuppy? Who cares, it's going to the same place! Bland, mediocre, batter-fried material for the morbidly obese tattoo-sporting slice of society. Ugh.

Service was spotty, food was plentiful but not all that good. Definitely appreciating living in a city with non smoking restaurants after this visit!

A Hankerin' for Fried. When we want Fried vegetables (green beans/okra/pickles), and fried fish, Crawfish, and oysters, with a side of something Cajun (red beans and rice, etc.) this is where we head to. The menu has other things too, but the fried stuff is what lures us. (fortunately, it doesn't lure us often-or we'd have to buy bigger jeans) Its pretty close to the original in New Orleans for atmosphere and the kids love it. The staff is young, but always friendly, fast and efficient. A full selection of beers, including my fave's Shiner & Abita. They have some pedestrian wines, but a cold beer is much more suited to their menu. I wont eat here in winter though, cause the tables are made of galvanized metal, and they get COLD!!! Mostly spring, summer, and fall joint. (Heck - thats 3/4 of the year) Not the best Cajun restaurant in Dallas, but definitely not the worst either. Parking is easy and its large enough to where you usually wont have to wait for a table. You'll have a good meal here, and most likely leave with a smile on your face.
