Review Meso Maya Comida Y Copas - Dallas

I came in for a date and was pleasantly surprised. Luis, our server, was very attentive and friendly, and gave really great recommendations. I had the Delmar enchilada and the salmon plate.

My business partner arrived to Dallas late in the evening and this was one of the places that was still open! The food was delicious, servers were great and we were able to have descent dinner after a long drive. We bought the Arrachera and Enchiladas Verdes Serrano, highly recommend 😋

Exceptional Mexican food! Our waiter was extremely patient as we were very drunk and we had loud crying kids haha. We had a designated driver of course. It was a great time. Highly recommend this place. Perfect for almost every situation and it’s at a great location. Caren asada was off the charts

Beautiful restaurant, food and service were very good. The queso and chips were on point. I had 2 tacos with pork (excellent flavors), and a small corn tamale. My friend got two enchiladas and loved them. Great find, will definitely be back!

Great margaritas, very fresh guac, and their mole was the real deal. I was impressed.

Came here for my birthday and sat at the bar. Angel was the bartender and she was amazing. The drinks were good and service was great. The dessert we had (pictured) was a perfect way to end dinner Definitely recommend for any occasion!!

Fantastic food, even better service! Genaro and his son were phenomenal at serving me in no time. I ordered salmon al cocon and Oaxaca cocktail. The rice in the main dish was perfectly prepared, creamy yet not too heavy, the veggies were just the same, neither undercooked nor overcooked, which can be the case with this in a lot of the restaurants. Salmon was just as perfect. Not too dry, not too heavy/oily, and was very tender and the sauce atop was perfectly fitting. I loved my experience here. Both Genaro's were very friendly and the place was clean and decor and lighting was very pleasant too. I definitely recommend this place 100% and will be back some time when I'm in Dallas! 👍

Good place for a good Mexican dinner. My Chinese wife doesn't usually like Mexican food, but enjoyed her meal so much that she ordered one to go. It's worth the visit. Prices are reasonable.

My husband and I were completely blown away by this place. It even looks so fabulous, we thought it would be dress code and/or reservation only but they are not. I consider their pricing to be quite affordable particularly when compared to the quality of their food, it is like high class dining with the pricing of a middle class restaurant! Service and staff were professional and wonderful and the food tastes absolutely delicious, I've never tasted anything like it. I highly recommend the Chochinita Pibil, I almost ate all of the meat without using any of my tortillas because after one bite you just don't want to stop eating it! I'm eating my leftovers as I write this review and it still tastes just as delicious as at the restaurant. We will definitely be coming often!

We love Meso Maya so much!! We live about an hour north, but anytime we are close we always try to stop by for an excellent meal. I always have the pozole verde - it is hands down the best anywhere! Be sure to get reservations if you can - a couple of times we were unexpectedly in town but we couldn’t get a table.

Outstanding food, atmosphere and service! I was in town for a short conference and happened to go there based on recommendation of a local. I dined alone, but this would have been a very cozy and nice place to take a date or loved one. I think I saw a band packing up music equipment from earlier before I arrived. I was a late diner & seated outside due to the nice weather. My server, waiter was one of the best I ever had. So much was he respectfully and diligently waited on myself and others nearby, that I was happy to tip generously. My drink he recommended happened to be too strong & spicy and was quickly replaced with a great alternative. [I was trying the one he recommended from the standard menu]. I sent a couple photos by text with my dinner, appetizer and drink which was way too much to eat, but I was able to try several things. Next time I travel to Dallas, I wouldn't hesitate to return.

My sister came to visit plus she was here for business as well. She had goggled this restaurant. We were close to. Beautiful restaurant. Our waiters Camille was awesome and questions we had about food or wine she had an answer for. She knows her stuff very impressive. The food was very good. She let us know that it was made authentic. The experience was wonderful. I will definitely be back. I recommend this restaurant.

First time comers and despite some of some lower reviews, I have to say the food is AMAZING! Great customer service. The food has great taste. U have to realize mexico is a huge country so everyone has different dishes its NOT tex-mex! Loved everything we tried. Their tortillas reminded me of the tortillerias back in mexico just by the smell it took me back! We were so full we weren't able to try the dessert! For sure next time. Come give it a try. We are definitely coming back!

Took my girl and we loved it. Ordered two margaritas swirl and casa, both were outstanding. Great friendly waiter. Took his suggestion and ordered the carne asada. It was tasty, tender, and delicious. My date had the seafood enchiladas. She was happy. She gave me a bite it tasted great as well. For dessert we ordered glam. I recommend this. It was beautifully presented and was delicious. We both had a great with great food. We will be back. Also I liked the decor and ambiance of this place. I recommend it.

Have been here many many times since we moved to Lakewood and have literally never had a bad experience. We order something different almost every time and are never disappointed. Service is fast and food is the best Mexican food around!

I live nearby and order take out often with two toddlers at home. Food is always great and packaged well! Had a minor issue once and manager went above and beyond to remedy without asking.

Simple summary: We ate and already we want to know when can we come back?!?!? Our were in the general area after the Dallas Arboretum and my wife wanted Mexican. We took Google recommendations for a lunch stop, and wow this did not disappoint!! Needless to say, our lunch entrées were absolutely knock-your-socks off! My wife had the Veggie Budin (with the to-die-for creamy tomatillos sauce) and I had a bowl of the Pozole Verde with amazingly huge chunks of chicken. Best find about the Pozole is that I couldn't finish it and it was almost even better cold (on the hot day). I might try and order gallons next time around!! Both of these flavors left of wondering when we're coming back to try everything else on the menu!!! Other notes: We also enjoyed an app of ceviche - which we both thought was nice(ish) tasting, and sort of a disappointment compared to the pics we'd seen from the dinner plating (from a messy plating and much smaller stack). From a flavor standpoint it missed also just didn't hit mid grade as compared to other ceviche in either of our books. I can't forget to mention that service was really solid! We had one guy who was running everything for everyone outside and multiple others were coming out to help and chip in as a team. Everyone was so awesome and I hope they all know that they are all very much appreciated and loved for what they do! This is not a convenient restaurant for us to get to as we live in North Dallas, however I think that I will now find excuses to find ways to get down here (especially if I can order that Budin sauce and get cold Pozole). I'm hooked and recommending it to all I meet!

The food is AMAZING! What I loved most was the originality and authenticity of the platters. Will most definitely be back. The server was also very attentive and very polite.
