Such a cute spot! Feels super authentic too. I learned it’s a gem in Dallas and has some of the best Spanish food. I stopped by for happy hour to get something to snack on. The staff was pretty friendly, I love the outside seating, and the happy hour has great selections. I ordered a white sangria which was tasty. I really enjoyed the croquettas which had cheese and spinach. The shrimp was good too. Overall I have to go back to try more and if you happen to be by the area, I definitely recommend. 🙌🏾
A great spot! A very charming restaurant, with delicious food and sangria, and professional service. An authentic tapas menu. There was live music on the night we had dinner. We will definitely go back!
The place is very popular! We forgot to make a reservation and had to wait for about 30min, but the place was actually very charming. They have a good selection of drinks and food, very fast service, but the food was just OK. All typical plates. They have seating for parties of two and four, if you have a bigger party make sure to make a reservation since they have few larger tables. The ambiance in the restaurant was very warm and enjoyable.
Service PERFECT! Food was really good, the taste amazing, the music and decoration so good, love it!
Marion & Rebecca are amazing! I have been a patron for 10 years and it is still my favorite restaurant, not only in Dallas, but in general. The sense of community and family in a big city is something that cannot be replicated anywhere else
Excellent food, drink, and experience! Rebecca, our waitress, was so personable and warm and pushed the dining experience over the top! Definitely will return and ask for her. Would give more stars if I could!
Café Madrid has always been a family favorite. The food is always stellar, and the small plates will make you surprisingly full. We had Rebecca as our server, she was extremely sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. She made sure my graduation night was very special!
Can’t wait to be back!
Firstly, the atmosphere is amazing. They've taken the time to paint beautiful murals of Madrid all over the walls, along with putting up post cards and maps and other fun souvenirs. There was even a guitar player on the Monday night we came, which only elevated the experience. The wine list was quite extensive and there were both glass and bottle options, which I've found isn't always the case. We ordered the jamón ibérico, which of course was delicious, as well as the entree-sized paella, which did have quite a bit of seafood. Everything was delicious and the service was wonderful. We appreciated that we were able to converse with our waiter in Spanish and we even had the opportunity to meet the owners, who were incredibly kind. We'll definitely be back to try out more tapas in the future!
Been going to Cafe Madrid for over 30 years. Tonight it was especially good, with excellent service. Tip: Go early, before 7pm or make a rez. The Gambas is not to be missed, as well as the paella.
The Calamari is excellent! I love the cute and cozy atmosphere and it is a perfect date night spot. Definitely try the Croquettes, you won’t regret it.
