We are in town to celebrate my son’s birthday and decided to have dinner tonight at Asador. Every single thing we tasted was phenomenal and Carlos, our server, absolutely spoiled us rotten. A unique menu with a true farm to table concept and excellent cocktails. We will definitely be returning.

Always great service by Carlos, who has waited on us for years! He provides excellent suggestions when we have questions on menu items, and remembers our favorites. Restaurant is located in the Marriott Renaissance hotel, so customers are there in both casual and dressy attire, and both mid-range & fine dining are available. Fabulous during Restaurant Week.

The tortilla soup is excellent - almost reminded me of an enchilada. Cobb salad was very tasty with very fresh ingredients and bright flavors, including heirloom tomatoes. Fun bar area. Excellent service from Ruben. Worth the trip even if you're not a hotel guest.

One of the main issues with staying at this wonderful hotel is the lack of nearby dinning and entertainment. Thankfully Asador is very good, especially for hotel dinning. While I usually prefer to explore a city rather than dine in the hotel, Asador came in extremely handy for a quick dinner while attending a show next door.

The setting is nice being that it sit inside the ground floor of this upscale hotel. It can feel a bit impersonal but the staff helped to alleviate that.

The locally sourced ingredients helped make for a very fresh and vibrant meal. The guacamole was a nice starter, plenty of flavor and spice. The lamb was succulent and perfectly prepared to my order.

While there are some interesting dinning options fairly close it is a bit more of a drive to get to a restaurant as nice as Asador. Now with the Renaissance making harder to get your vehicle in and out, this may be the best choice to save frustration and time if staying here.

Gets the tick!. Located inside the Renaissance, this southern spanish inspired restaurant offers a variety of tasty dishes. The vegetarian dishes are flavoursome, as are the seafood that they have on offer. They have a normal guacamole and also a spicier version with peppers which was surprisingly tasty. We had the mexican pannacotta for desserts, which was a decadent explosion of caramel, chocolate and cinnamon icecream topped with nuts.

I love it! Shared the veal shank and filet with a friend - both plates went back to the kitchen clean! You can really taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Worth the trip.

We eat here every time we stay in Dallas. Their food is absolutely amazing and the service is beyond top notch. Especially Carlos, who knows how to treat his customers. Everything was cooked to perfection and served promptly

Overall decent food. Guacamole likely wasn't fresh made. Beyond Burger was pretty basic. My wife though her iceberg salad was so so. Truffle fries we good. Ambience and decor were excellent. Service was as awesome.

Went here on Valentine's day and was a bit worried as it was located within a hotel, but decided to take the chance as many other places were booked and this place looked worth giving a chance. I worried for naught, I enjoyed everything! The ambience, service, and food were all great. The server was very patient and was happy to talk about the questions we had about the menu. We ordered a lot of his recommendations (unfortunately I can't remember his name), and I'm glad we did because everything was great. The brussel sprouts were crisped and seasoned just right, pork belly and steak were cooked to the perfect level of chewiness, and the desserts were sweet and interesting, in a good way. We will be coming back again soon.

Clean atmosphere. Standard hotel bar space. Menu has some different things on it: Pineapple bacon guac. Their ramen is more like a stew, delicious but not ramen. If you are staying at the Renaissance it is a good choice if you don’t feel like driving.

First time here. Came on a Saturday afternoon around 12 PM for brunch for a double date. Parking is in the gated hotel parking which has a fee, but the front desk can validate the parking if you eat at the restaurant. It was empty when we arrived & we were seated immediately. Mimosa - Average taste. Good price. Smoked Salmon Bagel - HUGE salmon pieces. Bagel was nicely toasted - not too toasted, not too underdone; lovely flavor. Cream cheese was very addicting - mixed with herbs. Served with a side of sliced potatoes, pickled red onions, red cabbage, & tomatoes - all separated on the plate in piles, so you can add whatever you want or don’t want. The portion was so big, I only ate half for brunch & had the rest for early dinner. I’d highly recommend this one. 44 Farms Brisket Burger - It was empty when we arrived, so we asked if they could make a burger which is normally on the lunch menu for brunch. Thankfully, the chef was nice enough to do so. Flavor was good. Pickles were excellent (even for someone who isn’t a big fan of pickles…my husband still ate them all). They taste homemade, on the thinner firmer side with a mildly sweet flavor & lighter than typical tartness. Overall, service & food were excellent. On the pricier side - came to about $60 for two entrees & one drink, but it was still good. I’d recommend & I’d come back!

I came here for a girls night and we were so impressed with this place!! I was hesitant because everyone knows hotel restaurants are hardly ever pursued, but boy was I wrong about Asador! Literally everything we had was full of flavor and delicious! I hate I can’t remember our servers name but he was exceptional. A few things you must try: • Pineapple & Bacon Guacamole • Caprese Salad • Chorizo Shrimp & Grits (10/10 Recommend) • Peach Cobbler I really enjoyed this place. I will for sure come back now that I know everything’s so good and since it’s in a hotel it’s a hidden gem! No long waits, and good service. Do yourself a favor and go check them out!

Excellent service, unique touches on food, plated perfectly. Good flavors. My wife had an issue with a steak not being cooked as ordered, but the waitress Rosie and the manager went to great lengths to make it right; what a breath of fresh air!

Amazing food. Amazing service. Matthew our server was so knowledgable, kind and generous! Passionate and thoughtful about his recommendations. Give that man a bonus. Also …the shrimp and grits was the best dish I’ve had in a LONG time.

I had time for a quick bite and when I conveyed this to staff—they were on it, getting my order and food out timely but without sacrificing quality. The fish tacos with touch of mango salsa, guac and just the right amount of kick was spot on! Loved it and I highly recommend this food dining establishment. Also, I don’t feel it deserves the $$$$ rating. It’s more like $$ to me for the value.
