Review Commissary - Dallas

This place makes a great breakfast, the egg and bacon bagel was amazing and the breakfast burrito with eggs, chicken, etc, was soo good. I really enjoyed the atmosphere as well! The only thing was the price, which, for breakfast, was extremely pricey. I would recommend overall though.

My hotel where I stayed while in Dallas conveniently located near this cool breakfast spot. Thankfully they opened at 7am, which worked perfectly with my schedule. They have good variety of breakfast options ensuring I never got bored over my 4-day business trip. The avocado toast with chili oil quickly became my go-to favorite. I also indulged in eggs any style, toast, breakfast burrito and chocolate croissant. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was exceptional too. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. A special shout out to the person who made this beautiful playlist! A special shout out to the person who curated their fantastic playlist – it added so much to the ambiance. All in all, starting my days here definitely made my Dallas trip even more enjoyable. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

A couple of vegan options here. I like the hot sandwich Veggie BÁNH Mi, which consists of crispy tofu, enoki mushrooms, pickled carrots, daikon, cilantro, jalapeno, crispy shallots, soy-sesame sauce. They also have a veggie bowl and burger. The staff is always nice and polite. The have my favorite potato chips, Torres and some vegan chocolate bars to choose from if you have a sweet tooth.

Really enjoyed my breakfast here. Ordered the egg sandwich, breakfast potatoes, and a flat white…and all were excellent. Portions were quite large for the price and the quality was top notch. Coffee was perfect too. Will definitely come back…maybe even for lunch later!

Employee who took my order was nice and food was fresh. I got the coconut oatmeal and an oatmeal raisin cookie. The old sweetness you get from the oatmeal is from the coconut and almond butter. Wish it added a lil brown sugar but it was still good. The cookie was soft and fresh as well.

Now that was a good breakfast sandwich!! This place is so pretty and bright! And the service was great! I had a chai latte w lavender as recommended by Amber over on cbd kratom and it didn’t disappoint! Go try it!

Great coffee shop Cafe experience with delicious food offerings and coffee. The staff were friendly and inviting, the Cafe felt very light and fresh. Highly recommend the Italian sandwich, bit of a nice change from typical sub shops, worth checking it out. They also offer an all-day breakfast menu. Only complaint, it's a bit pricey for sandwiches and coffee, it is downtown Dallas though, to be expected I guess. If visiting the area, it's a great spot to grab coffee and lunch, check them out.

Every time I eat hear it gets better and better. The portions are generous and quality of food is excellent. My favorite is the smoky tomato soup and grilled cheese on sourdough with bacon. Absolutely delicious!

So so good! I loved our short experience here! Serving hot coffee, hot breakfast/other entrees and other food options that you can grab and go. My husband got the breakfast burrito and I got the egg bagel sandwich. Both SO GOOD. I love how they serve chicken sausage here and not regular sausage, and it was seasoned to perfection. I got a latte and it was PERFECT. We were visiting but if we lived here, I'd be coming here all the time. Well, it is a tad pricey so not all the time but more often! My egg bagel sandwich had eggs, bagel, chicken sausage and cheese and was $9. My husband's burrito was $7.

Ate lunch here 4 of the 5 days I was in town. Just wonderful. The line can get long for lunch, so I recommend ordering ahead. I had absolutely no issues at all with their ordering process.

Was driving by and saw a great looking coffee shop so I had to stop by. Turns out it's and amazing place with great options. I got a taro latte which was amazing and a grilled cheese with tomato soup. Both were amazing and flavorful. If you are in the are, definitely stop by and check them out.

BEST breakfast burrito in Dallas hands down. Great service! Cute atmosphere. I pick up a breakfast burrito and iced matcha latte at least once a week! Dog friendly and patio seating as well!

We went in for breakfast and got coffee and breakfast burritos as suggested by other reviews. It was so good we had to come back the next day to try more. We ended up getting a smoked salmon bagel and breakfast tacos. Everything was super delicious.

Nice, clean and bright interior. A wide variety of food items in cold cases, bakery shelves and made to order. I had the bagel sandwich. The bacon was crisp without being overcooked. The egg was fluffy and flavorful. The bagel was a little doughy but toasted perfectly. My only complaint was that they put mayo which was not in the ingredient list so I had to have them remake it. I also ordered the blueberry coffee cake. The cake itself was a little dry and needed a little more sugar. The crumble topping was great and helped balance it out. Service was quick and friendly. I would definitely return.

We stopped by twice for breakfast while staying at the Westin next door. For a downtown location the prices are very reasonable and everything is fresh! The bread must be made in house and it is so delicious. Staff is friendly and the place is sparkling clean. My only regret is not coming back to try the lunch choices and gelato !!

Very cool cafe downtown! Parking is a challenge but worth the walk. Offer a wide variety of foods, especially at breakfast. We got the croissant, chorizo breakfast taco, potato breakfast taco, latte, and smoked salmon bagel. Everything was delicious. Baked goods are made in house and you can see them making it in the back. Limited seating but do have some outdoors. Excited to come back and try more of the baked goods.

Nice spot to pick up some coffee or espresso and a snack. The breakfast burrito was really good, the breakfast tacos were ok but nothing great, good salsa though. They also sell specialty products like aged beef and beef stock and other higher-end things.

This place was so cute! We went for breakfast and I got avocado toast with an egg which is simple and it was good. My only complaint was I asked for my egg over easy and my yolk was cooked completely through which was disappointing. We tried some desserts and they were good! We got lemon poppyseed bread, a brownie, and the chocolate chip cookie. They were all pretty good. The choco chip cookie was soft! They have a meat section and their steaks are dry-aged for 45 days which is AWESOME. Cute interior, super friendly staff. I would definitely come back here again!

I had the Italian Hero and it was amazing. I love that every element is made in house and you can taste the love and attention put into everything. The Giardineira was crisp and had the perfect acid and seasoning. The deli meats were well crafted and had the perfect balance in fat and flavor. Then there’s the soft flavorful fresh baked. They really nailed it with this concept.

Soooo gooood! I will visit the restaurant again. I enjoyed my French Dip sandwich with a bowl of Pho. The raspberry lemonade was something to write home about❤️ Not only was the food super delish, the service staff was equally as good. They have a good business model that includes good food, good service, and awesome looking desserts.

Great concept, fresh food and "to die for" dessert!!!! Thank you Phillip!

Stop to get dessert with friends who were in town from Monroe, Louisiana. The brownie and gelato was delicious!!!! Also, our dessert was half price.

Our favorite place for lunch and to grab some dinner essentials!! Love the late night hours and catering options!! The house cured meats are incredible and steal the show on any appetizer platter. The porchetta will trick you into thinking you’re in Italy. Crispy skin, delicious pork. Go try it now!

Great food and atmosphere. Great staff, and incredibly hospitable employee named Lou. He told me a lot about the history of the business, and the revitalization of downtown Dallas. Thanks, Lou

We heard this place was amazing and were NOT disappointed. Customer service was friendly, patient with our questions, and so helpful - they even asked my name and remembered it the next day! Gelato and Wheat-free lemon tart were outstanding. The place was hopping each time we went in, and every food item (and loaf) looked amazing - would love to eat my way through that menu. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Thanks again to Chef Zach Dunphy. We appreciated your time showing us the curing room and peoviding curing process information. Guanciale, copa and Finocchiona were fantastic!

My sandwich (French dip) was very good but be aware. You order a sandwich, you get just that, a sandwich. No pickle, no side, no chips. $$$$
Amber Thomas
I had a almond milk mocha, Croche Madame (sans egg) and lemon custard cake. Everything was delicious, and everyone was friendly :)

Almost everything is made in house. Beautiful foods, barely any waste. A must if you’re in downtown.

Our Uber driver recommended we go here and I'm so glad we listened!!! Everything was phenomenal!! I got the Brisket hash, a cappuccino, and banana bread. I'm seriously kicking myself in the butt for not stocking up on bread and goodies to bring home to Houston. Also, loved the ambiance and how passionate and knowledgeable the staff were. 10/10 would recommend and plan on dropping in everytime I visit Dallas.
