Around 5 pm on a Friday, my party of 3 arrived with an empty house. The host and server excelled at their customer service. And they did well to check ID too after I ordered a drink. The appetizers were so good I could barely have room for the main course. My experience was fantastic.
This was our first time at Ziziki's. My in-laws have eaten here a few times so we came while visiting them over Thanksgiving week. The food was phenomenal! The salmon fillet I had was amazing - delicious, tender, and juicy with a nice crisp from the grill. And the restaurant has the best atmosphere and vibe. Our server was excellent - very knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and efficient! We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.
Excellent service, Excellent Food, Beautiful interior. Maurice was such a great server. Makes you feel like a friend and not just a customer. Roasted Potatoes are so good that they can be an appetizer all on their own.
AMAZING FOOD!!!
And our server was amazing.
Brunch specials is a MUST.
We got there right when they opened for dinner 🍽 😅 we were hungry place to our selves. Our waiter was friendly and nice 👍 👌 😊 appetizer we got artichoke dip and pita chips (more like hummus) 😋 our entrées were both lamb dishes lamb shank and moussakka(a little bit too much tomato sauce for our liking) i took most of it off and put it aside husband did the same. He got a mule. i got a sweet tea . For both, it was between 80-100dlls
We ate here for our company dinner and it was soooooo good! The food was incredible. The service was amazing and I have been figuring out a way to get back there. Craving!!!! You can't go wrong going here. They are so nice
I can not highly recommend coming here enough! Extremely impressed and exceeded all expectations! I chose to come to the Preston location--versus the Travis location--because the prices online were cheaper, so I drove the extra distance. I was able to make a reservation same day, right after they opened for one. The inside is clean and nicely decorated. I was greeted once I walked in and taken to a table by the hostess. I noticed that the prices were different than online ($40 pp verses $30), but was told that was for the new years day brunch, which had more items on it, so I was comfortable paying more.
This my first time coming so I did not know eat to expect other than my past brunch experiences (like The Rustic in Dallas). My server Manuel (amazing, attentive server) came to greet me and asked if I wanted a mimosa before leaving. Still, I did not know what I was going to get, but from the tables around me I assumed everything would come out on a platter, but was pleasantly surprised when Manuel told me everything would be coursed out. I was solo dining and was sat next to a two top, and noticed that our portions were not the same. For Example, the village keftedes I only received one, while their table received 4. I asked Manuel is everything is portioned per person, and he said that it was. I appreciate how they did it to limit food waste and maybe they thought that two big men would eat more than one woman, but they did not know that I can eat haha. Manuel even told me that if it was something that I would like more of, he would get it for me, so I would not be left hungry. I was able to take my time and enjoy the meal and the mimosas.
As far as the food, my favorites are: the ziziki bread--sort of like a pita with cheese on them--, the lamb village keftedes, Greek pasta, shrimp saganaki and mini baklavas. My least favorite are the artichoke dip, I would have preferred hummus, and the leg of lamb was a piece of meat that was dry and lacked seasoning, but it was cooked to a great temp. The eggs were okay too, but they tasted like they were made in a big batch and they just gave out spoons of it on each plate, there was no feta in mine. Also the seasonal fruit was an assortment of melons and pineapple, that's just my personal taste and do not like them. I had a few mimosas, Manuel was good on checking on me and keeping them and my water refilled.
You should definitely come here and I will be back to try this location again to compare the regular menu and the Travis location as well. I am already planning on when my next trip will be.
The food was good but the vibe was just weird. It might have just been because I went at lunch but I don't know something seemed off. There isn't many places I've been to playing 80s music that serves traditional Mediterranean food. I feel like it also should be a tad cheaper, my dish I got was basically just Lamb on a Pita. I'm not saying it was bad, just an odd experience.
Our party of eight, had a great experience here. The appetizers, main course, wine, dessert and service was all awesome. Staff was very helpful as most of us had never been there before. We will definitely be going back.
Definitely my favorite brunch spot in Dallas. I love that everything is bottomless and you definitely get your monies worth. Sometimes service can be a little slow when they are busy but overall I really enjoy it.
