Had the best dinner in a very long time! The chef Matt Gold is the best in Dallas. Every dish was better than the last. Highly recommend the Pork "Secreto" & the Short Rib. Staff was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Hands down the best food in Dallas!

I am always delighted by the food and I feel pampered by the staff. I cannot complain about anything, but the sun on the patio, but I take that back because the maitre d’ has no control over the Dallas heat! Oak continues to be a marvelous dining experience.

Beautiful place! Been here multiple times, sometimes to eat and others just for a quick drink. A lot of attention to decor and detail. Definitely a date night place but also lovely for cocktails and hanging out at the bar - angel Behind the bar is great and so much fun- and I definitely appreciate the tasteful artwork. We lived the Delmonico steak, the bone marrow, scallops were fresh and delicious as well, and the wagyu on the rock was fun as you get to cook your own meat. Plus They’ve got outdoor seating as well as private rooms for larger parties! Def check it out!

Great experience with the restaurant. The staffs are super nice and professional. The managers checked on us multiple times throughout the time we were there. We did a Dallas restaurant week menu. I was not a big fan of the chilled tomato soup. It was a little bit too garlicky to me. The tomato soup has small watermelon pieces in it and it was SOOO good. The 60 day aged burger was delicious. There was so much food that I could not finish. The burger was surprisingly still good after being re-heated too. A definite come back and my stamp of approval

Truly a great meal. There were some hiccups that I would not expected from a high-end place such as this. Our waitress Mercedes was over the top, in all aspects. Our hostes, her name slips me, sorry, was very nice and attentive and kept the tables full. The bar staff had the most issues with very slow drink times, Mercedes actually had to go behind the bar to get me a beer, needs a bit improvement here (the drinks were poured well though.) As for the meal over the top. We had the Rack of Lamb and the Tomahawk with mushrooms, broccoli and brussels, totally loved them. The steak was done to perfection as well as the Lamb. Would love to come back but will want to see the bar reviews come up first. Thank you Wits Steakhouse and your staff for a wonderful date night with the love of my life. U&R

Even with Covid-19 going on, Oak Dallas gave me and my wife a great experience as first time guest. We tried a little of everything and enjoyed it all. The ambiance and the staff were truly hospitable. The waiter Forrest took care of us and he was fantastic.

HICKORY GRILLED OYSTERS! New Chef once again but this time it is a wonderful change! Comforting, unique, and delicious was each dish’s taste profile this Saturday evening! Amazing were their cocktails also! Beautiful is their updated interior! Friendly and warm was the service! Now, a trendy and a lively vibe instead of the once private club like setting is beginning to set in here! A lovely time we had!

The food was spectacular. The lobster truffle linguine, rib eye steak and Oscar filet were favorites at our table. From the Kisler wine to the strawberry cake, all was delicious! Manny and Gabriel were fun and we did not have to ask for anything, they delivered excellent service! We will be back.

I’ve sat at the bar 3x and always enjoy my experience with angel the bartender(as I will be his regular). Must try the Lolita drink and he also makes great old fashioned’s. I’ve sat in the dinning room 2x, manny and josh have both served on my parties and they were terrific. Crab cakes, A5, wagyu meatballs, seafood tower, and South African sausage were all very delicious and all made to perfection. They offer great recommendations and are very thorough. The drinks and food are always on point every visit I’ve made. The whole team is just terrific and very welcoming, oh and I gotta say I love their music playlist just such great music compared to other steakhouses. John the GM is fantastic and takes his time to talk to each and every table making us all feel welcomed and assuring great service. I gotta say this place has turned around with great new staff and management. I highly recommend this nice little gem of a steakhouse. Thank you all for the fine experiences.

Top notch food and service. Our server, Ashley, could not have been more on point and friendly. Gabriel, the GM, stopped by multiple times to ensure everything was perfect. Food was fresh and delicious. Great date spot and we will be back soon!

I always love coming here. Years later and it never disappoints. I agree it’s a bit pricey but in this instance it’s worth it. Updated: August 2020. Nice to see this place still standing against COVID. And, it’s gotten even better!! Keep it up.

I went with my boyfriend last night and ot was really good. We got a variety - crab cake was really good. Brussel sprouts were my favorite. The mac and cheese wasnt as cheesy , i thought it was more cream than cheddar. It was my least favorite. The toffee pudding dessert was good but i didnt care too much for the tamarind. The branzino with curry was good. The wild flamingo cocktail was so fresh and perfect level of sweet for me. The cappuccino was really good. And i wish i knew how to make the butternut squash soup because wow its perfect in this cold weather. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I really enjoyed myself. Thank you for the wonderful meal. Would definitely go back.
