Review Pyramid Restaurant & Bar - Dallas

Randall Dobard
Food was great & service was impeccable. That bread and butter was magnificent though. Food wasn’t too pricey compared to other places downtown. Just didn’t like how the valet parking was “$26” which they changed to $20 after I mentioned I didn’t have my card on me. Ended up cashapping a guy. I don’t mind paying valet but to charge that much is crazy, especially I could’ve parked right across the street for free.

Had a fantastic lunch at The Pyramid room. Service was exceptional and food was as well. Especially loved the salad. A great option to eat in when at the Fairmont.

Had the shrimp tacos and the tortilla soup for dinner. It was very delicious. Large shrimps in the tacos, and the taco soup was very creamy. I'd definitely come back. Staff were extremely polite and despite being busy at the bar, they were very attentive and helpful.

There's not a huge selection, so I would encourage you to look at the menu before going. You could find something, but if you're looking for something specific, this may not be the place for you at this juncture. However, the penne pasta was very good. The chicken was diced, so I was able to focus more on eating than chopping huge slices of chicken. The service wasn't bad, but it wasn't a "wow" type of experience. The valet parking was very confusing and pricy so you may want to leave yourself some time to find parking close by.

George at the bar was fantastic! He offered amazing service, suggested additional places we should check out and MOST IMPORTANTLY served up his own specialty crafted margarita that was delicious! Will definitely visit George again and so should you!!

The Fairmont hotel has been open since 1976 . It sits on Akard st. down town Dallas its a up scale hotel with alluring atmosphere inviting and friendly has a bar restraunt called the Pyrymid. The menu at the bar has a variety of great specialty drinks . There dinning menu is called the Farm House variety of 44 burgers farm burgers and the 38 different greens and entrees and a desert menu that you could say it deserves its name Sweet Endings . as l was sitting at bar out of no where amanda manager of the restaurant came over to me directly with a trey of two different deserts let me choose one of my choice .well let me let you in on why she did as l sat at the bar l was asking the bar tenders all kinds of questions about the hotel and that l was a Google reviewer on Google maps and that's why I'm asking as to there reaction of oh really how cool then they became very curious of where was l from what do l for a living and I was honest and l got on my phone and started to start my review and as l was typing they kept looking and just peeked there interest that l was there to review them right then because l kept typing and they. Knew l was I made it to were they could see as l was typing and looking at thec menus and looking at all of them thinking put my phone down for awhile impressed that l was actually took what l do seriously and with intent thought to myself let me see if this makes more of an impact on many levels doing it like l was the Google reviewer of Dallas looks that goes a long way that people forget about the little details no matter the reason because that's when the manager came up with the trey of the deserts and made me feel she did it to make an impression because when she came straight to me first to say we had these deserts left over we'd like to try one of our two favorite deserts she described them to me and l said how special and that l would love to try l happily picked the lemon tart buerlie and how impressed l was she smiled as if we both knew we had played each others hand and for a brief moment it was a respect. That was given both ways as l sat there eating my divine desert and thinking Yes impacts on perception. Done the right way made me one How good it felt to appreciate every bite of my lemon tart taste last forever . l learned how to become a better Google reviewer because l took a chance and now that's why the Fairmont not only a fantastic hotel but a believer in how serious they saw we are here and care about giving Dallas a place that stands out and get to tell special stories like these thanks to Google maps and reviews To Be True To You My Moto ! Restaurant was pretty good. Parking was a little chaotic due to hotel traffic. Unfortunately there was some hair in my Mother's food on Mother's Day!! They did apologize and brought out a replacement and compensated us for my Mother's meal, the kids meals and all our drinks. That made up for it. Overall still a great experience. Had a great guitarist playing relaxing jazz music.

The smoked old fashion is great! The food varies - the salad and wings are average hotel quality. The steak however, is the best hotel steak I've had.

Had the breakfast buffet. There were all kinds of food options. Server was very professional and nice. Due to this restaurant being in the Fairmont, the price was ridiculously high.

We dined with four of our friends. Excellent food in a casual atmosphere. We had terrific, unobtrusive service that allowed us to dine on great food while enjoying our conversation. It was perfect for our little birthday celebration. Thank you Pyamid for a wonderful evening. We’ll be back!

Tried the brunch menu here. Not a lot of options and the egg white omelet tasted rather bland but ingredients were fresh. Nice cocktails and dessert. Waitstaff was attentive. Pricey but what do you expect with this place being in the Fairmont Hotel?

My recent dining experience at the Dallas Fairmont could have won an award for bad.  One person in our group of four was pleased with his meal.  Two more said it was OK.  For the price, it should have been much more than OK.  My Arctic Char included what seemed to be a slaw made of a variety of flavorless vegetables including brussels sprouts and a piece of unseasoned,  over-cooked, dried-out fish.  Nothing was flavorful.  I was thinking catsup would help this $$$ piece of leathery fish.  Before the dinner, were got a very skimpy cheeseboard served with toast so hard you could break a tooth.  Oh, I must mention the dinner rolls - straight from the grocery store and barely warm.  At 7:00 p.m. on a Friday night, our party of four were the only ones dining in the restaurant.  That should have been a clue.  The service was great - they had no one else to serve!

Awful. Kobe burger is worst burger I have ever eaten. Wait staff appeared to be pulled right off of the street.

The Pyramid Restaurant & Bar recently hosted a mini media preview to introduce Executive Chef André Natera’s seasonal dinner menu for fall. The Fairmont’s 3,000 square-foot rooftop garden helps this chef’s passion for perfection play out perfectly. Some of the new dishes include lobster dumplings, oxtail ravioli, beef short rib, and herb printed pappardelle. Chef Natera also has a six-course pre-fixe tasting menu available during dinner. Parking was not an option the second I realized my outfit was hideous. Luckily, clothes were still back seat hanging from a tasting in Houston the day before. Still untouched was a brand new black shirt. While this was a grab and go purchase without a visual, it seemed like a grand plan to wear it instead. Changing clothes in the car is something that should not faze anyone. This act may frighten people in tall buildings or security camera operators, but the
