Super cute small restaurant. Service was amazing. Crab fried rice was delicious, fish and chips were great. Key lime parfait wasn’t the best but they were nice enough to remove it from the bill.

Oh what a gem we found! We chose this place for the menu, and it definitely did not disappoint! We had our annuals girls Christmas dinner here and Thera is aaaaaahhhmazing! So to say service was exceptional is just not enough.
We had the oysters, branzino, tataki, halibut, Brussels sprouts, crab fried rice ( MUST GET!!) and a few other plates and it was all delicious. The drinks were just strong enough and great recommendations from Thera.
The restaurant itself is small, but cozy and inviting atmosphere and decorated with a nautical theme. The restrooms single room and very clean. Very friendly people here and it has sidewalk parking as well as a parking garage. No valet.

I came for date night and had Simple Set and Haricot Vert. Which was green beans and salmon, amazing! The salmon was flavorful, and the green beans had a southern style taste. The crab fried rice was really good too. Our server, Abby (spell check) was helpful when deciding and attentive through our meal. The manager was super sweet and helpful as well! I’ll definitely be back

Enjoyed our first time at Montlake. Packed, busy place and even with a reservation for 4 we had a 15-20 min wait. But, I enjoyed my hamachi crudo and my cod, my husband loved the ceviche and his brussel sprouts, My friend enjoyed her crudo main course and we polished off two bottles of Sauvignon Blanc!

Montlake Cut provides some of the best seafood I've had in Dallas. I stopped in and had a cut of halibut and loved it. The way it was prepared leads me to believe any fish ordered here will be superb.

Always great service and the food is wonderful. Ask for their off menu specials for dinner and give them a try. Don’t forget to order dessert early, if you want the rum cake or some other highly desired items they go fast!!

We enjoy going here and suggest you sit at the chef's counter, where you can overlook the kitchen and watch the preparation. Hands down one of our favorite seafood restaurants anywhere.

I stopped in with friends for a Thursday lunch for the first time today and will definitely be back.
The whole fish of the day was a very fresh branzino that was served in a tomato pan sauce replete with garlic and olive oil. It took me straight back to Rome as this could've easily come out of one of those wonderful Italian kitchens. Additionally, the perfectly cooked fillet was expertly deboned and presented.
Mervin's service was en pointe. Highly recommended.

Delicious food, fabulous/friendly service. We are out-of-towners and went with friends and our 5 1/2 month old baby… quickly wondering if this was the place we should even bring our child. (To be honest, probably not, but what are you gonna do?!)
The staff were so friendly and made us feel comfortable and not like we were those a-hole parents who bring their children to nice restaurants… Highly recommend!

Great experience, Food was excellent, service very friendly and a fun atmosphere. The Rum cake was a highlight and we have found our new favorite seafood place in town. Usually a short wait with reservations but that speaks to the popularity!

Favorite seafood restaurant - the lighting is good, the layout is well thought out, dinner at the bar or at a table is comfortable, the place just looks and feels good. Great food - the crab appetizer with the avocado on top is the best. Mussles, clam chowder - all good. Rum cake for dessert is the best. All the fish preps are always great.
