Went here for take out. Huge portions, excellent smoked flavor. The brisket and Turkey are amazing! Chicken wings were good as well! Fried okra was good. Mac and cheese was just okay.

Great find! In spite of having to clean my own table off, the food was great! The brisket was tender and tasty. The wedges were good as well. My wife had the baked potato and she loved the brisket as well. Will return!!!

First time visitor on a Tuesday afternoon. Friendly service, looks like it would be very busy at night! My only quibble is that the indoor eating area is a but run down. However, we are considering bringing our large group here for an evening of fun and food!

The brisket was better than average, the fried okra was greasy from being under a heat lamp but it had good flavor, just make sure to ask for fresh, the backyard is cool, they have bands there sometimes

Nice venue. Definitely keeping an eye out on their upcoming shows. The lady doing security was honestly a joke and took her job way too seriously. The venue should take some notes from Last Concert Cafe in Houston to foster some better vibes but won't deduct stars just because they're still learning. Overall fabulous except for that one uppity lady yelling about nothing.

Great place for some legit good BBQ of smoked meats. The brisket was done just right and not too dry. The ribs were awesome as well. For sides, I recommend the mac and cheese.

They don't do weekly specials anymore. Got seated without a reservation. Place wasn't too busy for weekday lunch. Got the two meat combo. Mind blowingly amazing beef brisket! Very juicy and tender. Better than Terry Black's, IMO. Also liked the pulled pork. Their BBQ sauce is awesome; not overly sweet. Well worth the visit.

The ribs and sliced brisket are delicious! Exactly what I wanted in Texas BBQ, perfect smokiness, fat melts like butter, tender fall off the bone meats, awesome house BBQ sauce! I gave 5 stars for the slow smoked meats, but the side of mac and cheese was disappointing (sides are kind of an afterthought and missed opportunity here). Give whoever is making the BBQ a raise because they put a lot of love in the ribs and brisket today!

We should have ordered one okra LOL because they don't skimp out on it. They Texas Size it!

First time here. Inexpensive for amount of food. We liked brisket, followed by pulled pork and then ribs. The pickles and jalapeño are out of this world good. Nice selection of draft beer.

I ordered a 2 meat plate with brisket and ribs, pulled pork sandwich, and a loaded bake potato. This was my 2nd visit to this spot and it has yet to disappoint. The meat had a great smoke on it and it was very flavorful. I had waffle fries, which were really, really good. The ribs fell completely off the bone. I’ve never had that happen before…from Memphis to KC. That’s all I need to say about that. The potato was so big, I thought it was 4 on the plate. The brisket was soft and complemented the potato well. The pull pork was soft and you could taste the flavor. All in all…it was too good!

Decided to pick a top 10 bbq venue in Dallas to take my family who was in town from Amarillo. Definitely exceeded my expectations and the atmosphere was amazing. All of the food was delicious and by far some of the best BBQ I have tasted in Texas. Will definitely be keeping this spot in my favorites. Savory, big portions and worth every bite.

This place is worth it! The people are sweet, the food is DELICIOUS, and sitting outside is so nice and relaxing. Definite family, friends, chill hangout. Feels just like a southern cookout. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The outdoor seating area they call “the backyard” is awesome! It felt like sitting at a fair with the Ferris wheel and the live band and all the tables. The staff were friendly as well. Nice community environment and we were able to meet a few locals and get recommendations for even better places according to them.
The food had great flavor. I know people talk about the ribs and brisket, but I want to rave about the Turkey!! It was INCREDIBLE! The best smoked Turkey I have ever eaten in my life and it wasn’t dry, super juicy. We also ate the brisket and it was good too. The sauces were OK but when in Texas you shouldn’t need sauce in my opinion. I wasn’t really impressed with the peach cobbler.

The food here was amazing! I had the brisket. It was moist (sorry people who hate that word), tender, and oh-so-good. The sauces vary in flavor. I tried the mild. It was perfect. But I saved the best for last. Banana pudding. Oh my! Perfection! Just like mom used to make. Only better! Run, don’t walk to Ferris Wheeler’s Backyard for food, fun, and to be treated right!

The service was outstanding. Incredible for locals trying to 'escape' from every other place in the area that 'looks' and 'feels' the same. Also an amazing place for people visiting from out of town!!!! And the food.... best BBQ I've had. Reminds me of many of the top places I went to in Austin. If I could give this place more stars, I would but I'm maxed at 5!!!

We ordered food from Ferris Wheelers BBQ for the super bowl and were very pleased- everything was delicious and yummy! Loved the brisket and the sausage and the macaroni and cheese was to die for! Brisket queso was yummy too! Will definitely be back!

Came here since it was next door to our hotel. Very disappointing. Brisket was all fat and the flavor was mediocre. The kid liked the brisket queso so there is that. Overall I can't recommend it.

Food ok but very chintzy on portions. One hot link and one fatty piece of brisket with only one side and no rolls or Texas toast on a two meat plate. Unheard of in bbq world.

Had to wait for a table 30 minutes when I nortice people were just walking in and grabbing tables as they were cleaned, so I grabbed one, $15 2 meat special had an upcharge for ribs (brisket very good) ribs were cold and dry.. Ferris wheel was closed from 7pm to 9pm

I had the Brisket and the Hot Link with the Awesome potato salad. I did not know that there were choices for the Brisket to be cooked. Well my server explained each style of cooking the Brisket and I gotta say man it saw outta sight! The food was Awesome & the Lone Star cold! Killer sides (green beans and the mac) but my brisket sandwich was seriously lacking the main ingredient (brisket). Tasty, but hard to justify with the minimal meat supplied.

The Ribs didn’t need any sauce, but the Texas Golden sauce made them heavenly!! The Brisket is juicy & tender & a perfect cut!!!
