Naomi was our server and she was very sweet. The food was great and they even have a Mock-tail menu! We had veggie enchiladas, veggie pasta, and flan for dessert. If you're in the area for the Musems or Aquarium, this is a great spot that's smack-dab in the middle of West End.

The food might not look extraordinary but it certainly tastes that way. The restaurant claims to have the best Mexican food in Dallas and I have to agree. Exceptional. As was the service from Kevin! Professional, attentive, and friendly. The service is as good as the food. A five star experience in every way.

Great service. Fajitas were great, smoked chicken salad was skimpy on the chicken and mostly spinach and onions, but still good. Arrived just before two and they switched to dinner menu even though hours state lunch served until 2:00. Busy holiday weekend.

The food was delicious and authentic and the service was excellent. Our server was an Indian lady was very kind she was very helpful with her recommendations. After we ordered the food me and my husband the lady came back in no time. We were very satisfied I definitely recommend it.

Definitely one of the best places I’ve been to serving authentic Mexican food. Everything from the Chips, Salsa, Cocktails, Tacos and Churros were absolutely amazing. The service was on point, Mike was our server and took great care of us. Definitely stopping by here again for some delicious food.

First time here and I loved it. Calm and saucy atmosphere within walking distance from my hotel. Every part of my experience was excellent. Greeters were welcoming, server (Bella) was sweet and informative, service was fast and last but not least the sangria and enchiladas were epic!

The food is amazing, the atmosphere is perfect for a Mexican food restaurant. Our waiter NEVER let our glasses get even close to empty, and anything we needed he was able to get for us. The rice on my plate was in a pyramid shape. It was the coolest thing ever. I had the best beef enchiladas I’ve ever tasted, and my son had a cheeseburger. I know, but burgers at Mexican restaurants are always better because they’re cooked next to those fajitas and onions and peppers. I didn’t get a picture of his burger, but I think he did and I can add it to the review later. Only one little drawback, and that was the flour tortillas tasted store bought. They weren’t bad, but being from San Antonio, we are somewhat spoiled to tortillas that were made 3 minutes before they hit your table. The General Manager came over to check on us as well, he was very friendly and appreciated the feedback we had about the food and the music. We will be making this one of our regular food stops from now on.

Okay, so I came here and I was greeted at the door very nicely. Everyone had on an Halloween costume, which I thought was super cute. Ana was our server and she was so nice and cool. Made jokes and made us feel very comfortable. She had our drinks out on time and even offered us chips and Salsa while we waited for our food. Our food came out on time. Food was a 10/10. I had the red rice with blackened shrimp and crawfish. It was very well seasoned and delicious. I also had the tropical salad. Ana came by our table a few times to make sure we were okay and if we had any more requests. Overall I loved the food and I absolutely appreciate the awesome service from Ana. I will be coming back!

Juan customer service was great. The food as such a great taste. I usually never eat grilled vegetables but these were good. Oh yea margaritas too😊

Service is amazing!! Naomi was our server, and she is one of the friendliest I’ve ever met. This was my first restaurant visit in Texas and it exceeded expectations. The food is also amazing and authentic. High quality ingredients and fair prices. $2 chips and salsa and the chips are warm and fresh. Will definitely return if I visit Dallas again!!

Wonderful experience! Alex was a phenomenal waiter and my food was brought out literally within 3 minutes of ordering. Everything was very fresh and very hot. Definitely a great dive!

I can't say how amazing the food is prepared here. The kitchen FAR OUTSHINES the front staff! I've been here several times and each and every time have experienced more than lousy service from the front staff. However the food is amazing and I keep returning over and over hoping the front service staff can match the kitchen service. The hostess is rarely at the front to greet. The bus boy told me once it was too long of a wait and I should go somewhere else although the restaurant only had 3 tables occupied and a patio of guests. The wait staff has no working knowledge of the menu or ingredients. Waiters are unattentive to tables and have an ungracious attitude towards patrons. Once again I put up with the lousy service because the kitchen prepares amazing food! I'll be back even though service sucks.

After a morning at the Dallas World Aquarium we stumbled on this restaurant for lunch. We ordered a margarita and guacamole to start, both were great. My husband had the steak fajitas and I ordered the vegetable enchiladas. Both were SO delicious! I don’t eat meat and they were the best vegetable enchiladas I have ever had! Flor was our server and she was friendly, knowledgeable, and on top of everything we needed....she was awesome. In fact, everyone at the restaurant was welcoming, joked with/talked to our kids, and overall excellent. We will definitely be back anytime we are in Dallas.

The chicken fajitas were dry and no flavor, rice was dry, took an hour to get our food

I liked it. Our server was very attentive... i got the mejores pinches tacos and honestly I've had better. I did pull a bone out on the second bite. No biggy.. the veggi enchiladas awesome. I would come back but watch what i order. A little pricey but its expected. Our server was awesome though, got a good tip..

Best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time! The bowl with shredded beef and rice and poblano sauce was the best. The guacamole was so fresh.

The food was excellent, food portions were good . Found the wait staff to be friendly and loved the waiter aka Kenny Rogers.

My husband, my mother and I were visiting from Colorado and stopped for lunch. The food was okay but the service was lousy. When we were first seated the waiter asked if we wanted guacamole for the chips, we said yes then ordered a water with lemon, a sweet tea and a margarita. About 10 minutes went by and he came back to the table with 3 waters (forgot my lemon) and chips with house salsa. He then pointed at my husband and said you had a tea. My husband said yes and he left to get it. He came back with the tea and took our order at which point I asked for guacamole again. He asked if I wanted the side or appetizer and I said the side. Then he asked if I wanted it with my food and I said no I would like it with the chips. He went and put our order in then dropped off my mother's margarita and disappeared for about 15 minutes. In the meantime my husband sat there with his tea glass empty for about 10 minutes. When he came back after 15 minutes he refilled the waters and said he would get another tea. Then it was another 10 minutes or so until our food came out then he remembered he needed to get a tea. He dropped the food off and went to get a tea. After we were done eating he was quick to clear our dishes and get us the check. My mother sent the bill and her credit card with him without looking at it. I asked if we were charged for the guacamole and she wasn't sure so I told her to check when the bill came back and of course it was on there. It took us a few minutes to flag the waiter down and when I told him he charged us for guacamole he never brought he seemed puzzled. Then he went through the meal in his head and realized I was right and said he would get it fixed. 15 minutes to get the bill fixed. If I'm ever in Dallas again I will stay away from this place. For the prices they charge the waiter should be checking on me every 3 minutes.

Fantastic food! Wait staff was great! When I read these one star reviews, I think these people were at a different restaurant! Atmosphere is great, drinks are great, food and service were excellent!

Had a good dinner. $3 Margarira's on the patio. Service was great. Manager came by, offered to take a picture of our group and made sure we were happy. Chile Relleno was great, oozing cheesy. Would definitely go back.

Had an amazing meal and amazing experience at RJ's today. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and made excellent recommendations for both food and drinks, and the food was fresh and delicious. My brother will be in Dallas next week and I told him he MUST eat there. I may even go again tomorrow before heading home because I'm already dreaming about the fajitas! Thank you for a great lunch!
