I had the Corned beef sandwich, which led me to say to my waitress...."What sort of sorcery is this!!??" The Swiss cheese was sticking out and perfectly grilled into a cheese 'cracker' on each piece of the sandwich. So tasty!!! It's a lovely place with a koi pond in front. It's a bit on the high dollar side, but a nice oasis from the mad mad world.
Was our very first time here. I was impressed with their wine list and our waiter Gerrand was so wonderful. He gave wonderful recommendations and was the right amount of attentive. The restaurant is a beautiful space and the lighting is very inviting. We ate sushi for an appetizer, I had the Greek Chicken and my husband had the burger. We were both very pleased with our meals. The carrot cake is unforgettable. I definitely will return if not for any other reason than to have a bottle of Cakebread, Frank Family or Caymus and a huge piece of carrot cake.
Not a big spot, so definitely make a reservation. The menu is one page, but there is nothing on there not worth having. For appetizers, I had the deviled eggs and the chicken meatballs. Neither disappointed with the flavor. With the chicken meatballs, you also get a version of grits. This could be a meal if you are watching your calories. I had the pan-fried white fish (the Tartar sauce is a must) with coleslaw and French fries. My mouth was so happy with each bite. I am not big on desserts, but we sampled all three (hot fudge sundae carrot cake and banana cream pie, so for my dessert people get one, you will be glad. So why did I give the food 4 stars, no lemonade, flavored teas, or sweet tea ? We are Texans, and we definitely would like the option of sweet tea and lemonade.
Experienced this place while I was in Dallas TX for the weekend! Glad I had made a reservation well in advance of my trip because this place is busy! I can see why too. The food was exceptional. The service was top notch. The kitchen was open viewing and all chefs were neat, clean, and wearing gloves. The food is plated nicely and the atmosphere was nice overall. When I return in November I will certainly be returning!
Had a great lunch experience here! Be cautious of parking, it’s crazy! Come with extra time to find a spot lol.
Absolutely incredible service from the staff. Beautiful use of space with levels and decor. Food comes out quickly, even during a lunch rush. The food is high quality, great quantity, and presented beautifully.
You can come here casually, make it a date or business meal!
The food was fun. Atmosphere was interesting. I’d go back. A bit pricey, but it comes with the area I believe.
Had an early dinner here last week - have reservations or be willing to wait if you come later on a weekend, it’s a small place. Dinner was great, I had the salmon and it was okay - friend had a Ruben sandwich and he like it. The cocktails were just okay nothing amazing. Server was great, I think her name was Quan, very attentive. I would go back and try something else.
A research and development restaurant to test dishes and then some of the successful ones are served at Hillstone (their sister restaurant). They have sushi, burgers, sandwiches and salads but we only tried the sushi. It's definitely a cool concept to mix different dishes in a modern American restaurant.
Atmosphere is nice and they have a bar for drinks at the center which is fun. Some of the sushi is definitely unique and I really like the coconut shrimp sushi because it's unconventional but somehow works. The servers are super fun and attentive so that's another plus. I'm super curious about Hillstone now so I might need to check out that restaurant next.
Best tuna steak I have ever had. The tuna roll was surprisingly delicious, I was iffy about it since it had macadamia nuts. I didn’t take any pics of my food, because it was that good. Service was great, the bartenders were knowledgeable. It’s been a long time since my martini was made correctly. Place stays busy so prepare to wait for a table. Tons of parking near by.
Warm & cosy feeling inside, perfectly illuminated, and a relaxed seating environment to savor a mouthwatering dinner experience. The visual appeal of watching the kitchen through glass from the outside, as one walks in through the front, adds to the charm of the entire experience. Needless to say, food and its presentation are of the highest quality and a short menu to choose from. Very professional and warm waiters too.

Great place with a great environment. It’s usually really busy so be prepared to wait a while before you get seated. My family I went their first lunch on a weekday and it was packed. We tried their meatballs, queso and hummus combo for appetizer. My kids loved their queso, it was gone in few mins😋
Then we tried their Sushi and famous chicken sandwich. They were both delicious especially the sandwich. The dessert was OK though. Would definitely go back to try out other items.
The R+D kitchen is the place we love to go for great sushis or burgers.
