Review Avanti Restaurant - Dallas

Food was tasty, good portion size, service was good Salem was our server, she had great timing and recommendations. Great date night on a Thursday. Presentation of the food wasn't too pretty but tasty.

Great place. Service was on point. Food was really good. Calamari for all then i had crab crusted sea bass which was amazing. We also order mushroom risotto n 2 other dishes which i forgot the names. Every dish was really good and the vibe was amazing. Make sure to reserve though.

Came here for my daughter’s birthday and we WERE NOT disappointed. Everything and everyone was so pleasantly pleasing😉.

Avanti was great! The food was authentic and fresh. The service was top-notch. Our server was probably the biggest man in the room but was a total gentle giant. Great personality and sincere service. Atmosphere was great with the live music as well. I thoroughly enjoyed dinner here

We have a list of restaurants we need to try in the Dallas area, yet we keep coming back to Avanti. The food is amazing, and I say that as someone who has never had the same thing twice here. EVERYTHING on the menu is top notch. The service staff is also so welcoming, prompt and communicative. The live music is soft enough that you can have a conversation with your party, but loud enough to create a lovely atmosphere. Oh! And the Wednesday date-night menu is unbeatable!!

This place is SO good! I got the crab crusted sea bass which was the best sea bass I have ever had. So fresh and perfectly cooked! My mom got the seafood ravioli which was amazing as well. The mussels appetizer is phenomenal, and their garden salad was tasty as well with balsamic vinegar. I got their “chef’s choice” special dessert which was Italian Cream Cake tonight. Perfection! The wait staff (CJ) and manager were so friendly and kept in contact with us throughout the dinner - everything was perfect! The vibe in here is awesome and the decorations are lovely. My only wish is if they had a real mock-tail menu.

It’s one of the best Italian spots in Dallas. If you’re looking for a comfy dinner Chicken parmesan and stuffed mushrooms are amazing! My server, Ashley, her service was absolutely phenomenal. Her positive energy made my day! They are so lucky to have her! If you’re looking for a place with live music, you should check out Avanti!

I really loved celebrating my 30th birthday here! I got a beautiful Tiramisu. Scallops were the special and they were so good! Very impressed with the service! When you go make sure you ask for Martin!

Went here with a couple of friends for a girls night out and everything was amazing. For those worried about parking (I always am when on this side of Dallas!), the restaurant offers free valet parking. The restaurant itself is small and quaint, definitely good for a romantic night out with the mood lighting and the live music (the music isn't too distracting either because it's all acoustic). Because the tables are close though, you will have to talk above the noise so keep that in mind. We had a few cocktails at the bar before being sat at our table and they were really good - shout out to our bartender Emma who gave such amazing recommendations on the menu and really broke down everything for us! When we sat down at the table we then started with the Avanti Garlic Loaf, Calamari Fritti, and a Greek Salad to share. The drinks and the apps tasted great, the Calamari was perfectly cooked and not too chewy, the bread had a lot of flavor, and the Greek Salad was really good. For mains we had the Chicken Limone, the Fettuccine Avanti, and the Carbonara. All of the dishes were really good but my Carbonara was the star for everyone. I had subbed the Farfalle for Angel Hair pasta and had some extra carbonara sauce to add to the dish and it was so delicious 🤤 The medallions that came with the Fettuccini Avanti were also well cooked and very tender. The Chicken was really good as well, not too over done but juicy with flavor. For dessert we had the Creme Brûlée and the Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie. The Creme Brûlée was amazing, just the right rich consistency. The Pie was good as well but it was very thick and rich - you definitely have to share that because it's hard to finish on your own. The Pie wasn't really my favorite but that's only because I'm not much of a chocolate person - but everyone else liked it but again, it was just very rich. I've had this restaurant saved for some time now as a really good Italian restaurant to try in the metroplex and I was not disappointed! Would definitely love to come back again for dinner.

Everything was amazing. The ambiance was classy. Even better service. The food was amazing, even had some live music.

It was the International women's day, when we went. We were immideately greeted and seated, and Candy was quick to present the menu. She was very nice and professional all the time with us. We r vegetarians, and she gave us some nice suggestions. Although, my advice to you is to go with your gut feeling. I wish I listen to mine � especially regarding the appetizers. We felt that the menu was kinda limited, we were expecting a bit more of a choice to be honest, and there were no candles on the patio. It is more like gather to drink kinda place. You may check out the nearby Malai kitchen for great and totally inexpensive food. Live music at Avanti starts at 8pm.

Oh my goodness, if I could give this place more stars I would. I got there around 6:30pm, was seated immediately, our server was amazing and we got our food about 5-7 minutes after we ordered. The food was cooked perfectly and the service was amazing! The manager even stopped by our table to see how everything was. I will definitely be back to dine here again. We were just in town visiting from Houston.

Always great food. Wonderful live music. IF (gun to my head) I were forced to find something about which to complain, the music was a little too loud for comfortable conversation over the table. However, since the music was lovely, it was probably preferable to conversation anyway!

Amazing delicious food & Moscato wine!! Calamari & Spinach lasagna was superb...visitors from Austin & will definitely come back to this place ���� love Italian food.

We were celebrating a birthday and it was a very special night! The food, service and live music were wonderful. I had the Chicken Limone with the au gratin potatoes and green beans - gluten free and amazing. The guys said the garlic bread was the best ever. Loved the food and atmosphere!

My go to spot with awesome service. The garlic bread is always soft and warm. I really enjoyed my salmon as always. My BF had the 12oz ribeye that was also delish. I didn't have enough room in my belly for dessert but the tiramisu cake is a must try here.

Our 12-year old son has made this his favorite fancy place. They are like family to us, unfailingly accommodating even when we “drop in” at the busiest time of the busiest day. Food and service are always top notch.

My husband and I were celebrating our 11th anniversary and were looking for a new place in Dallas to try out. We decided to try Avanti. From the first call to make the reservations, we felt good about our choice. The gentleman on the phone was very polite and professional. The complimentary valet service was wonderful. Our waiter was absolutely amazing, smiling all the time and always there when you needed him. The service was impeccable. The food arrived promptly. The manager came around to ensure everything was going well. When they found out it was out anniversary, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert! The ambiance was wonderful, dark and candlelit...romantic. And the food was amazing!!! We had the Prime New York Sirloin and the Three Cheese Spinach Lasagna and they did not disappoint. The Greek salad and garlic cheese bread were amazing as well! When we left, the manager once again told us Happy Anniversary. It was a wonderful experience and we will most definitely be back!!!

Love the restaurant! My friend from Italy was in town, and for 17 years he was the General Manager of the Walford Astoria in New York. He's seen it all so, he knows the difference between good and excellent. It was excellent. And a huge shout out to Gabriel who we always rely on for great customer service.

Great service and food was excellent, best Bolognese! Had yet to find one I really liked here and in all of my travels. Well, I found it. Excellent. Will be back for sure.

Hubby and I have been here before and as usual things were top notch. We received a hearty greeting and the service was on point. I had the sea bass with risotto and it's a crowd pleaser. Our daughter and grand daughter joined us and were impressed by everything! Thanks Avanti for being consistently Great! Did I mention we were celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary? Absolutely love this place! My friend and I have been coming here for years when we lived in uptown. It was so nice to visit again and the staff always remember us. The mussels were fantastic! Everything here is good and also a great atmosphere.

Simply amazing! Food was excellent. Our waiter took the time to teach us some wonderful things about what we were eating, the wine we were drinking & more. Live music was a fantastic aucoustic guitarist. Each element was wonderful and combined they were beyond expectations!

The atmosphere was lovely and the food was delicious. Our waiter Martin was superb. We hadn’t been there in a while but will make sure to come more often. Wonderful date night.

When my husband and I moved to Dallas in 2013, Avanti was our first date night in our new city and we quickly fell in love with this charming restaurant. From the impeccable service, to the live guitar, the delicious food and some of the best wines, we continue to return five years later. We went for our 'last' date night before our son was born and just went back last night with our dear friends for a date night out. Amin treated us to a phenomenal bottle of champagne and we had a wonderful time. We are customers for life! Thank you to Amin & the wait staff at Avanti for being a pillar of the Dallas food scene! We love you!

Best Calmari ever, hands down. Great service, shrimp and wine!
