Review Knife Dallas - Dallas

The only reason I’m not going full five star is because for a super expensive meal I want it to be up there with the best I have ever had. It was very good but I wished it was just a bit more. I got the 45 day dry aged ribeye. It was great. That being said the Flat Iron was almost as good. Either way it’s worth going at least once.

We had an amazing meal. I enjoyed and savored every bite I had. We started out with bone marrow & caviar, pork belly, and oysters. I'm not an oyster guy but both the marrow and pork belly were delightful. We went with a 45 day dry and bone in strip and it was cooked to perfection. It was very thick and all but the edges were perfectly medium rare and just the right hugh of pink/red. Each bite was an opportunity to savor how good that meat was. Then the banana dessert was heavenly. It was perfect. Prob the best steak I've ever had and a top 3 dessert. Very impressed and satisfied with my visit.

On a recommendation from a cattle rancher, we decided to go here for our team dinner. I've never had dry aged steak before, and it was beyond outstanding. We had the 45 day dry aged steak and every bite was incredible. We also enjoyed the spinach and shallots, the baby carrots, and the avocado fries. Our table over ordered a little on sides, but each was a delightful addition. I think I am spoiled for life on those steaks! The staff were accommodating and delightful as well. We felt valued and well cared for.

Excellent service, food and ambiance marks this restaurant inside Hilton hotel.Mary was an excellent host. Restaurant showcases the curing process of the steaks through a window by the entrance. Brioche French toast was the fluffiest and the most tasty I had eaten in some time.Steak was juicy and has perfect seasoning.👍👍

An absolutely phenomenal experience. We came here as a treat on our honeymoon and it was such an incredible time. Our server Michael was an absolute gem, he was super knowledgeable about the restaurant and food and he was super fun to banter with. Would HIGHLY recommend the bacon flight. I’m a huge bacon fan and this was not what I was expecting in the best way possible, you could really taste the difference between the types of bacon. The bacon jam was absolutely delicious and paired wonderfully with the sourdough bread. My husband and I got the 240 day and 75 day dry aged steaks…. Astonishing. The 240 day aged steak is decadent and in our wonderful servers words “funky”; an absolute delight! We got the Pomme purée and the Mac and cheese, potatoes were phenomenal and the Mac and cheese was good but a little on the spicier side for me. We finished with a white chocolate raspberry and chocolate and coffee dessert, both were absolutely delicious and the there was something nostalgic about the raspberry sorbet. All in all, the staff were absolutely wonderful; our server Michael was the best, and all the other staff really enhanced that experience. Our table was always cleaned off, our waters were always topped off and people were always there if we needed them. George and the wine guy (I didn’t catch his name) both came to check and make sure everything was to our liking. The next time we visit Dallas we will be sure to make Knife a stop on our books!

Visiting Dallas for the first time, I was recommended Knife as one of the best steakhouses in the city. They did not disappoint! Known for their dry-aged cuts, our waiter Jarret (who was the best, by the way) suggested the 120 day aged 44 farms Ribeye. It was absolutely perfect for my boyfriend and myself, marking one of the best meals of our trip. Beautiful restaurant, incredible food, and the most tentative and knowledgeable staff, a definite must if you're in Dallas!

They make the BEST ranch I have ever tasted in my life. The steak was cooked to perfection. It’s a very small quaint place, laid back, don’t need to dress up. The cauliflower had a hint of lime & it made it extra good.

We came here for my brother’s birthday. The atmosphere was really nice and enjoyable. My brother wanted to eat 90 day aged steak. He seems to love it. I got a burger which was good but too much cheese. The food was good but the highlight of our dinner was dessert! OMG! The dessert was phenomenal! I would totally come back here for dessert. I ordered key lime pie and it was sour, just the way I like it! You can’t have a taste of key lime pie without making that sour face! It was that good! The chocolate coffee was one of the best. I totally forgot to take picture of desserts because we devoured them so quickly. Absolutely wonderful experience with dessert. Overall, it was an amazing place and I would totally come back just for dessert.

Came for the 240-day dry aged ribeye. It was the most unbelievable steak I've ever had and definitely worth trying at least once. Service was a little cool and nonchalant until I ordered the steak after which the attitude warmed up, definitely not the friendly Texas hospitality I had everywhere else, perhaps an unfortunate byproduct of knowing you have some amazing steaks to serve. The restaurant is off the lobby of a nice hotel, but actually feels a little bit like it's just carved out of the lobby space. Doesn't exactly have a closed off restaurant feel. Overall a good experience worth visiting though.

Listen, THIS WAS THE GREATEST FOOD I’VE EVER HAD! I’ve been around to many amazing restaurants throughout Dallas, & the food here bypasses them ALL without a doubt, from the appetizer to the desserts everything was a magnificent 10! Steak was cooked PERFECT! Avocado fries immaculate! Mashed potatoes unlike any mashed potatoes I’ve ever had !!! My favorite restaurant from now on without a doubt ! Thank y’all!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Knife in Dallas, TX, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The charcuterie board they served was a work of art, showcasing an array of delectable cured meats, artisanal cheeses, honey combs, and perfectly paired accompaniments. It was a delightful journey of flavors and textures that left me wanting more. The lobster dish I ordered was an absolute showstopper. The succulent lobster meat was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor. It was expertly prepared and served with finesse, a true testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs at Knife. The pastry chef at this establishment must be from heaven itself. The desserts were nothing short of divine. Service was impeccable, steaks were good, not great. Overall had a nice experience, just feel short of expectations. Would recommend getting the beef rib to share, as it’s quite big for one person

What a wonderful experience visiting Dallas... The restaurant was exceptional, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, & most of all fun. The food was delicious, my only regret was not having room for more.

I found Knife to be one of the best restaurants in the Dallas area. The staff are all very friendly and well trained. The dining area is simple and beautiful. The experience is topped off with extremely well prepared food. This is not your typical Texas steak house. This is fine dining done well.

The dinner was tasty, perfectly cooked and a memorable wedding anniversary.

*Edited* We were invited back by the owner after a disappointing first visit and found the food and service to be very good. The GM and our server were very attentive and made us feel like valued customers. The bacon appetizer and short rib entree were favorites for us, as was the black truffle pasta. We will be checking out the new location in Willow Bend when it opens! ** original post** The food was good, but the service and atmosphere were not up to what I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Shame, I had high hopes for this place.

I thought I had eaten good steaks until I was fortunate enough to have dinner here. The food is on another level. Chef John Tesar is right there working to make sure everyone gets what they came for. Hands down the best steak I have ever eaten. If you are in the Dallas area, don’t pass up a chance to eat here!

I have never tasted worst filet mignon . How do you manage to turn the best and the most tender piece of meat into something that is completely dry and tasteless?? We ordered medium well but more on the medium side , they cut the filet in half so they could grill it faster or something , I was confused (kitchen was apparently behind the schedule that night). Their bacon sampling and cheese board was great but then how hard is it to make bacon taste good. Disappointed, was expecting much better.

Nice aesthetics, fabulous service. Visited for a birthday dinner. Solid wine selection. Easy to find a trustworthy Napa Cabernet on their list. Great food (not life altering). Bacon tasting, yellowtail apps great, bread basket had huge selection. Filet & flat iron very well prepared. After having appetizers, we were afraid to get a Flintstones-sized, dry-aged steak. Next trip. Would give 4.5 stars Definitely recommend!

My steak was perfectly cooked, my fiancé’s was amazing, the sides were wonderful, and the service was impeccable. Fantastic restaurant that I’d recommend to anyone. Be ready to drop some cash because the place ain’t cheap, but it was wonderful.

Amazing. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and delicious food. The dry aged beef is so tender and flavorful. The mushroom risotto was incredible. I'd recommend the experience to anyone who enjoys fine dining.

Knife was a great choice for our friends birthday celebration. Great food, Great service thanks to Ryan. Made our meal seamless with his service. Ribeye was wonderful so are the side choices. Cauliflower Brussel sprouts, mushroom, mac and cheese. Oh and try the bacon appetizer. Thank you

Fantastic experience! The service was 1st class. We started with the bacon flight, wonderful. We all had steak, excellent. Cooked perfectly. We shared the onion rings, heritage tomatos and avacoda fries. The tomatos and onion rings were very good. The avacado fries were fantastic! We dined on the patio (the weather was great) so we had after dinner drinks and coffee. The atmosphere was wonderful and the after dinner surprise capped off a leisurely night of fine food and fabulous conversation.

Took my Spouse for his Birthday. We had a wonderful time! We split the ribeye for two, had the bacon tasting, the mac and cheese, wild mushrooms, the bourberry drink and the highland drink. Followed with the chocolate and coffee desert! It was a wonderful meal. We both enjoyed it very much!

Our waiter Jeff walked us through the menu giving detailed descriptions of the fare. Telling what things are the best according to customers and his personal preferences. This was most helpful being our first time there. We ordered, and the food came out in a very timely manner without being rushed. It was beautifully presented and very tasty . Everything we ordered I would order again, as well as other items. My wife and I were very pleased with the whole experience. And we will go again.

Always amazing. Great service, and the ONLY place in town to try dry-aged steaks. Also, don't overlook the raw crudos and tartares.
