Review Bread Winners Cafe - Dallas

We went for brunch on weekends. Inside waiting was long so we sat outside and it was beautiful day. Waiter gave his recommendation and we love it. Mine first time but kids came before. I think they need to focus more on cleanliness. We ordered waffle, their famous cinnamon and French toast.

Such a beautiful place. We sat in the back with all the plants. It was gorgeous. Elizabeth G was our waitress and was so pleasant and attentive the entire time. Our food was incredible. One of the best brunch spots we’ve had in Dallas since moving here! The fried chicken and waffles were out of this world!!!

Pretty good food. Ate here twice on back to back days. The ambience was better than the food. The desserts looked delectable. Nice spot and nice staff.

I am visiting family here for the winter and I bought my brother who lives up the street and a friend who was visiting from Canada around Thanksgiving. Atmosphere: You walk in and see beautiful cakes and other pastries you can buy at a counter that draws in you in. People also were ordering take out so you smelled the food right as you walk in and out stomachs were growling. We waited for our host to seat someone before us were just taking it all in because the night before we had horrible service at sports bar the night before. We were sat inside and the building was beautiful with these brick walls and plants. Every photo we took the background looked so cute and aesthetic. Parking: no comment as we walked there Service: After having a bad experience at a sports club the night before, we were nervous walking in but literally everyone said hello and we instantly had smiles on our faces. The server (wish i remembered her name and when we go back this weekend I hope she is working!) was so spectacular. I am a person who likes options so I was asking like most popular item vs her favorite. She had an honest answer for everything and I really appreciated the honesty because she mentioned it was just her opinion. I am a server and understand upselling so if that was the intent, the way she described the most expensive French toast had my mouth watering. It was personable and not just describing what came in the plate. We had some jokes and she came by multiple times to fill up our water and ask our honest opinion on the food multiple times. When the bill came and you have the awkward moment of tipping in the machine in front of them, I didn’t even feel weird about tipping over 20%. We felt so welcomed there by her (I want to say she had brown hair. Curly or wavy?😫) anyway, she was amazing to the point we talked about her even after we left. I am going back with another friend who is visiting from Canada for Christmas. Miss my bestie who know we are besties Food: Since we had a bad experience the night before we had low hopes and WOW. Day and night- food was hot and every thing on the plate had its own flavor. Everything she recommended was so so good. We took our leftovers to go and warmed it up and it was still good! We didn’t get anything but water. Price: my bill was higher because I ordered the most expensive French toast with a side waffle and add-ons. She split our bill but I cannot remember the price but it was higher but I didn’t even care because it was completely worth it. Can’t wait to be back!!

Bread Winners Cafe & Bakery never fails to deliver a great experience every time I dine in. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the service is consistently excellent. But what really keeps me coming back is the delicious food. I absolutely love the chicken and waffles! The crispy fried chicken is perfectly seasoned and the waffles are fluffy and golden. The combination of savory and sweet is simply irresistible. And let's not forget about their freshly baked bread, pastries, and other menu items that are all equally scrumptious. Whether it's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Bread Winners Cafe & Bakery is always a top choice for me. It's definitely a must-visit place for anyone looking for great food and an enjoyable dining experience.

Very nice place, good food but the restaurant is a little cramped. When you walk around it feels like you will bump into something or someone. Not fond of the parking either.

Wow, what a great find for brunch. Got the French toast loaded with whip cream and strawberries. Everything tasted super yummy and fresh. Long wait but it's a big restaurant and we got in quickly on a Sunday walk in. Highly recommended!

The food was spectacular the shrimp grits was scrumptious. I will be back go in the evening on Sunday we had the place to ourselves.

Really good brunch spot. Went with staff, they start you off with a bowl of pastries which are really good. For a drink I had the pineapple upside down mimosa which was good. We had a cinnamon roll for the table and WOW!!!! For my entree I had the rotisserie chicken and grilled avocado salad and it was one of the best salads I’ve had. Definitely would come back.

Decent lunch. Fast service. The server seems nice. We only saw him one time. It was kind of weird they kept coming in looking at us. I felt like they were unsure if we were going to pay her bill or not which made me feel kind of uncomfortable. But overall good food nice people and I probably should’ve gotten some baked goods.

We were seated quickly for Sunday breakfast. The waiter was extremely friendly and stayed on top of refills and checking on us. My favorite was the breakfast tots!! It's a must if you go during brunch. Everything was delicious and warm. I also enjoyed that they give you table bread. I'll definitely be back.

Really nice spot for brunch and dinner. Plenty of food selection with a nice twist. We got there at their peak hour and we got seated right away( party of 3). The price was decent for the quality and the quantity. Will visit again

We went for brunch the morning of our anniversary. We were sat quickly and pound cake was immediately brought to the table. We ordered Irish coffees and the breakfast tots were delicious - don't pass these up! We also ordered the croque madam and the avocado toast with smoked salmon. Everything was wonderful. Our server, Chris, was friendly and informative. I added smoked salmon to my avocado toast order for an extra $6 and they put a good amount of salmon on my plate for that. We had another cocktail after brunch before leaving and it wasn't a problem at all. The only disappointing part was that our appetizer came out only moments before our entre. (Please give me a thumbs up if you found this review helpful.)

This was a nice little spot in Uptown Dallas…minus the rain. I like the outside seating area. The server had to be asked to come to my table🫤 I ordered the Raspberry Chipotle Chicken with pasta salad. 😋 It was very good. If you like chicken/raspberries, I’d recommend giving this a go.✌🏾

I would like to give Daniel a great review! It was very considerate and generously helpful in regards to my service. The manager on duty that I encountered briefly seem to me a bit rude and lack of genuine customer service. The food and dessert was absolutely delicious!

This is my favorite brunch/lunch spot in Dallas! The food and drinks are top notch. I ordered the chicken and waffles! Their spicy gravy and syrup combo hit the spot every time. We also ordered spinach dip and chips for the appetizer and it was equally amazing. 10/10 highly recommend

The food was amazing! The pita was super crispy and was a great pairing with the chicken and hummus and cucumbers. The tea set they gave me was so cute as well. Overall everyone loved their food and I loved the outdoor dining section as well. The place had a lot of character and looked like a fun place to host an event. Would definitely come again to try more stuff and maybe dessert next time!

Been here for my birthday brunch and a breakfast date with my mom. Ordered the French toast and pancakes. SO GOOD!! The fruit on them was so fresh and the complementary banana and zucchini bread they served was addicting. We ordered two slices of cake which were pretty pricy for the overall taste but service and everything else was top notch.

Bread Winners Cafe and Bakery was such a great place to have breakfast. They have a wide variety of breakfast dishes and drinks, plus good service. I had the black bean breakfast tacos and they were delicious. I was told the Chicken and pork tacos were delicious also. For dessert, the birthday cake was ok but I really wanted one of the sold out cinnamon rolls. Overall, I would definitely recommend trying bread Winners cafe for the breakfast. Food 4/5 Service 4/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Cleanliness 4/5 Parking 3/5

We have been here many times as a family or with friends. We did a bridal brunch here, too. It's one of those types of venues. It works! Food is delicious. You can't go wrong with whatever you decide to order.

Came here after finding the Cafe Brazil down the road closed. Have never eaten here and was very pleased. Had the Julio’s Huevos. Excellent breakfast. Coffee good. Great service.

The service, atmosphere, and Ambiance are Awesome. Seriously Bread Winners one of my favourite restaurant. I'll Visit again for sure. Again Thanks for Awesome Services.

Best brunch ever! They always have an innovative menu, love the bakery! Bring the kids and the dog, but get there early because they do get busy quick. This continues to be one of my favorites every time I’m in Dallas.

Simple and easy. Nice lunch mimosas and they serve pecan cranberry bread and seasonal pumpkin bread as signature items before meal orders. For me it’s an easy pit stop before starting the shopping run. My usual fare, poached eggs with avocado on toast works like A charm.

Their set service can be improved. It took somea time to get us seated even when it wasn’t a crowded time.

Went to Bread Winners with the guys and I thought I'd give a review.

Atmosphere, Design, & Service: 3.8/5.0
We went Wednesday around 3pm, normally its suggested that we book a reservation on OpenTable, however, I called and the store wasn't full. The restaurant was well lit with lots of natural light. Our waiter took some time to warm up to us but she ended being a gem.

Food: 4.0/5.0
I ordered the "Basic Breakfast", That's 2 eggs, brunch potatoes, and buttermilk biscuits, and bacon or sausage, or ham. I doubled up and I got bacon and sausage, that totalled up to $14 and then a glass of orange juice was an additional $4. I enjoyed the food, the eggs were good, potatoes were well seasoned, & the sausages were a favourite, although they were pork.

Final Thoughts: 3.9/5.0
Dependent on what you get the prices can be as cheap as $8 and as high as $17, Bread Winners is fairly moderate but the portion sizes today at least were large and the food was good. I went to the Plano branch & I wasn't impressed however that was 2 years ago, so I've seen growth in all forms.

My only gripe was the mimosas.. no one is paying $10 for some champagne and orange juice, blood orange or not. Sort that out.

The service, atmosphere, and ambiance are incredible. Seriously one of my favorite restaurant environments ever. The food was fresh and good, I wasn’t in love with it but still a decent breakfast. Great area too.

This is a great place. Packed in weekend. I'm only giving a 4 star because they wouldn't keep their egg. :). The weekend special was an amazing sounding burger dish. A burger on hash browns with cheese. Wow. There was no listing of an egg. I'm not an egg person so I just want to head and asked to make sure there wasn't one. Actually that was supposed to be and they said they were correcting the menu so there was an egg. I asked if they could leave it off and the answer was no.

IT WASNT ON THE MENU. But glad I asked. Still wish I had that burger.

Put our name down and then waited an hour to be seated. When we checked our reservation, they had apparently called us. They said that we would be called next, but we were not after we waited another 20 minutes. I will not be returning.
Miranda
Waited for an hour for brunch. Apparently the hostess "called us but the speaker was broken". Felt like a bullshit excuse since we heard them call other people in the same period. She said we'd next in line and apologized, it as soon as we were out of earshot she called two other parties of the same size. Ridiculous!
Neil Burman
Consistently been good all these years for a good breakfast and especially Sunday lazy brunch. Menu is good, food quality and quantity decent. The mimosas are a bit weak but other than that recommend it.
Rebe Hair
Services were impeccable, salmon melted in my mouth cooked to perfection. Penne salad w/tomato creme dressing and several veggies topping was perfection. Planning to go back before I return to San Antonio, TX.

This restaurant CAN NOT BE MISSED if you're ever in Dallas!! I loved the "New Orleans French Quarter" feel of the patio area of this place. However, you can choose to sit inside with the A/C, or on the rooftop as well. Either way, the ambiance is great for indoor or outdoor seating. The best part is the scrumptious food that you'll almost hurt yourself trying to finish!! I tried to use my 80% rule, but was unsuccessful, LOL! The food is a lot, but it's SOOO GOOD!!!
Eatwithmyfoodsafari
Wow! This place sounds like a bakery, looks like a bakery but is definitely more than that. They may have started out only doing baked goods but they certainly take good honest home cooking to another level.

There is seating in the main building and there was a courtyard within the middle of the restaurant as well as outdoor seating at the front of the building. The service was upbeat and excellent from the start.

Greeted warmly and seated quickly, a bread basket and butter were brought out, the bread being fresh and soft and a great start. For the appetiser I ordered the Pork Belly Sliders (crispy pork, caramelized onion, fresh spinach, sriracha mayo). Although I don't like spicy foods, the mayo had a nice zing to it without being to fiery. The pork belly was soft and melt in the mouth and the dish was well put together. Craving something that is classic southern cuisine, for the entree I had the Fried Chicken And Waffles (jalapeño bacon cheddar waffles, crispy chicken, cream gravy, henry's hot sauce, maple syrup) from the breakfast for dinner section. It was a great choice as the waffles were thick and fluffy in the middle but couldn't find the bacon or cheddar but not too worry as it was very delicious anyway. The fried chicken was cooked well as very crunchy on the outside and juicy in the middle. The maple syrup lathered on the waffles and gravy on the chicken were a match made in heaven. I avoided the hot sauce!

You definitely need to give this place a go. Would've loved to try one of their home made desserts but way too stuffed!

I really like breadwinners. I got the BW Benedict and it was outstanding. We also shared the cinnamon roll which is the best one I have ever had. Usually they have a wait but it goes fast and it's well worth it. Outside seating available.
Ginger Harper
If you can't find something to eat on this menu, don't feel bad. It's only because they have so many amazing choices, and you can't go wrong with anything on their menu.

A few things I tend to pick the most are the chicken and waffles, any of their tacos, and their benedicts!
Gourmetgardener
Hmm... We were here about a year ago and had a really good experience. Today, there's water dripping from the ceiling and the manager couldn't seem to care less (lawsuit waiting to happen?), my coffee cup had lipstick all over it, and the room we are in is swarming with flies. We were charged for a Bloody Mary we didn't get and my my breakfast dish was missing the gravy it was supposed to have on it. Our French toast was borderline burned, but my husband did enjoy his huevos.

My favorite brunch spot in Dallas. They have an extensive menu that has something for everyone. I had the chicken and waffles and the gravy is the bomb.com! Have also had the breakfast chicken taco dish that was great. Mimosas are yummy and the bread basket rocks! Best Part = cookies to go! the dream / everything bar from the bakery case will make your day! Cookies are awesome as well!
Prapti
The food was good (had pork tenderloin wrapped with bacon!) the Bellini was nice and fresh! It was a fun day to go to bread winners - it was their bday so we got cake/ dessert at the end for the table! Will try coming back for brunch / breakfast to try out more things.

We love the Bread Winners Cafe in Northpark mall bc it's close to the library. It's one of our fave mall eateries. Fish and chips is fantastic and big enough to share as well as pizza flatbreads. Fried chicken is so so good too.

This is my go-to restaurant for when people visit Dallas. The bread appetizer alone is delicious to me. Their brunch potatoes are always a big hit. Besides that I usually build my own breakfast plate, depending on what I want that day. They have a nice small selection of hot teas.

I was in Dallas for Easter, and like any heathen Jew I skipped the meal restrictions for Passover and tried to find a spot for Easter brunch. Voilà, Bread Winners. Now the one crappy thing about this place is they do not take reservations, even for a large party like ours. Thus, we had a long ass wait-time. What does one do while you wait for a table to open up? Why drink of course! I ordered a Bloody Mary. This was no ordinary Bloody Mary, this was the mothership of them all. One word. Bacon. I’ve caught your attention now! I’m usually not the biggest Bloody Mary drinker, but they add two pieces of their crispy jalapeño bacon and some pickled string beans to the mix. That’s one tasty beverage! For brunch I ordered the Fried Chicken and Jalapeño Cheddar Bacon Waffle – topped with cream gravy, hot sauce, and maple syrup. I think I fell in love. The chicken was nice and crispy, and the waffle savory. Other items on the menu that I tried (thanks to my friends) was the Normandy French Toast – sourdough bread stuffed with cream cheese and raspberry jam, topped with berries and whipped cream. The Deluxe – a brioche bun, topped with crispy pork belly, caramelized onions, siracha mayo, avocado, and two sunny side eggs. For dessert I got one of their huge cinnamon rolls. Drooling yet?

Great brunch spot with fresh baked goods. Bread Winners is very popular, but what's great is you can grab a drink at Quarter while you wait to be seated. Don't forget to check out the day old baked goods on your way out. Do yourself a favor and get the chicken and waffles.
Shannonlopez86
Brunch date win!. Met my dad/stepmom for brunch this morning. The pastry assortment appetizer (on the house!) was delicious and everyone loved the food. Service was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff, memorable design/environment, would visit again in a heartbeat!
Niraj
Get there early!. Very busy on the weekend so be sure to get there early for brunch. The food is fantastic and the menu has a lot of options!
JJ
Nice location uptown. Nice baked goods. Nice interior dining patio area. But the food (at least at lunch) is very average. Not a place I'd recommend.

Great place for brunch on Sunday, especially after a late Saturday!

So Lovable. Outdoor seating, friendly servers, free, delicious banana bread and glazed almond pound cake to start your meal... yes please.
It's very hard to choose between all the heavenly options on their menu.
The Southern Benedict: perfect eggs, a cheese sauce-looking Tabasco hollandaise was almost as indulgently tasty as it looked. The biscuity taste was hard to detect under all that soaking, but I loved the crispy onions.
The Texas Benedict: I thought the brisket hash was a little too chewy/fatty, but the rest was the same deliciousness as the Southern.
And you have Henry's homemade hot sauce too drizzle over everything, a slightly sweeter and more red pepper flavorful version of Tabasco (ie still vinegary and nice and hot)
The espresso here is only okay.
The cakes, cheesecakes, and pies looked amazing.
Olivia Elder
Love bread winners! The breakfast is amazing!!! Everything here is great you can't go wrong !

Very Poor Service in Uptown. If you want to avoid horrible service don't go to the uptown location. Went for my birthday and the food was excellent, however, the service was horrible. Our waiter literally ignored us. We only saw him 3 times, once to take our order, once to serve our drinks, and the last time was at the front door. Almost walked out but ended up paying for the check at the front door.
Brett
I've heard there is usually a wait for a table around 9am on Sundays, but today I was lucky and was seated immediately in the garden room. I had the farmhouse tacos, which were excellent. Service was excellent as well - the best service I've had anywhere in quite a while. On the way out, I couldn't resist picking up a cinnamon roll as well - delicious!! Great place. I don't visit Dallas very often, but when I do, I will be sure to come back to Bread Winners

Applling Customer Service from Waitstaff through to Management!!. I wanted to like this place...I really tried to find redeeming qualities. First, the waitress brought the water with her hands covering the tops of each glass, we had to ASK for straws, she didn't know the menu because she was new (no big deal), but we had to "coach" her through how to serve customers! REALLY?? Others at our table had to ask what were the specials, she went to get another menu, came back, put it down and expected us to read them. Okaaaay...then, when asked what the house wine was, she left to go ask, came back and said, " I was told the house wine was whatever the cheapest wine on the menu was", THEN proceeded to point to each one as if we couldn't read!!! TRUE STORY! So, after taking some deep breaths, she apologized for the insult and walks away and all of a sudden, another waitress appears and says to us "you want some wine?", we are all startled because there was no introduction, only a question. Are you the wine expert? Do you want wine? No, we want the manager! Did I mention the waitress' voice was deeper than my husband's? (besides the point, I digress). So, the manager appears and explains the original waitress was in tears and the second waitress was assigned and she refuses to discuss anything concerning our experience with the first waitress. We attempted to explain we felt she should've been shadowed if she was new because she didn't seem to know much about what the restaraunt had to offer, but the manager felt it was best to have someone else serve us "wine". We felt it was best to dine at the restaraunt across the street! No matter how good everyone may have rated their food, if you don't treat your customers right, you will NEVER catch my coins!!!

Worst service ever. Put hand over my drinks. Misinformed staff that doesn't know the menu; needs training. Another waitress had on coochie shorts & was working out the 'bites' while delivering food. You can keep all communicable diseases and serve to others.
Nate
I order chicken & waffles with zero hesitation if the restaurant offers it, thus I have had it many times. Bread Winners is, well, the winner of the best chicken & waffles. The cream gravy on top is the deal breaker, not to mention the quality of the fried chicken, waffles and syrup. This is a must try. Worth every penny.
Eddie Covarrubias
Great restaurant and great service. Will definitely come again!

The Dinner is Good too. I know this place is known for brunch but the dinner was good too. The smoke gouda fondue was excellent and I sort of wanted to sip it through a straw. I had the chicken and waffles and a side of grits and my wife had the quarter fish (SPICY!!!!!! even the rice was SPICY so be careful). The chicken came with a great cream gravy and a splash of hot sauce that created the perfect bite with the waffles and syrup. Overall it was a great bang for our buck and a great ambiance to go along with it.

Good brunch. Bread Winners is a great casual brunch restaurant. A lot of their selections have Tex Mex influences. I had the San Antonio Tacos (eggs, black beans, cheese). They're pretty simple, but they were really good and filling. The restaurant is also dog friendly if you sit on the patio (which is heated). The restaurant also turns into a bar at night. Both are pretty casual and both have fun atmospheres. Nice place to not have to dress completely to impress and enjoy Uptown Dallas.
Jessica
Great baked goods. Some of their desserts are too sweet, and I don't recommend their pies or seven layer bars, but I love their cake balls, cakes, cupcakes, muffins, and cinnamon rolls. Most of their other food is legit too.
Sue Walden
Let Bring something.... Just the ticket when going to friends for dinner and stop by for last minute fixings. It's quaint so mark it down for Breakfast or Lunch if you like to walk a litte there some interesting shops nearby.

This place is Amazing but this morning made me feel not want to come back :-/ grandpa was waiting on me took my order other tables got sat 10 min after me he brings my drink and tell me what did u have??? I memorized ur order and the system was down! I told him my order again nicely then tables that sat after me got their food at this point I was unhappy. I asked the waiter did u forget to put my order in he said no no no it's the system. I been a waiter for 10 years these jokes are old! Start writing ur orders down cause the older u get the more u forget....

MY favorite place in Dallas. Great Brunch and lunch. Food modestly priced. Great coffee/espresso options. Good vegetarian options. great desserts. atmosphere reminds me of new orleans. nice patio and atrium when the weather allows. My favorites are the sweet potato fries, key lime pie, iced latte.
TX Scott
Best pancakes in town. If your looking for a great breakfast/brunch meal this is the place to go. Their baked goods are great but I am hooked on the pancakes. Light and fluffy and oh so tasty.
Crystal
Bleh!. Went to this one a while back and was first turned off by the prices for what they served. I ordered the Caesar salad to stay on the cheap end. The salad was horrible and not worth the money. I then decided to order a cupcake thinking it was maybe more known for the bakery aspect, I was wrong. Waste of money, the cupcake was dry nd tasteless. Don't go here and waste your time and money.
Emma
First time at the restaurant and had a great experience. Was there for lunch and had the salad trio. Huge and wonderful quality dish. Server was a bit slow but that is the only minor complaint I had.
Alexandra Paige
Went there for lunch, had the combo #2 with Herbed chicken salad sandwich and the Salmon salad. It was delicious! Wasn't crazy about the indoor atmosphere but the patio seemed like it would of been a great spot had it not been raining. Will def go back!
Kevin Bullard
Kinda pricey but good REAL bread
Tim Krause
Never eaten in. But I always get their baked goods on special days: office, family, birthdays. The muffins are especially delightful. Inevitably, I have to write out all the info about where I got them from because someone loves them so much.

Go Here. This place is one of my favorites in Dallas. Beware though, the menu changes during the day!

Best breakfast ever
Amanda Linfield
This is probably my favorite brunch spot! I usually go to the Plano location but it's always so good and fresh! I like their coffee and the Eggs Benedict is good. But gets really crowded on Sundays.
MValerie8
This was one of the best brunches I've ever had. The food was great and the portions are big. I would highly recommend the Julius huevos. Lots of yummy options for fresh baked pastries. The place is pretty big so we didn't have 2 wait too long even though they were very busy. Free valet on weekends before 4.
Abe Bierman
Winning. Bread winners is always so good when we go there. the only down side to this place is deciding what i want to eat from their extensive menu. the monterrey breakfast enchiladas are killer. just be warned that it gets a little busy on the weekends for breakfast. be prepared to wait a little. its not too bad though, it always looks more crowded than it is.
Jessica Neill
Terrible Service!. The food is amazing! I have only been disappointed once. Don't get the turkey club! Otherwise we have tried pretty much everything else on the menu and are ALWAYS satisfied. Never once have we had good service though!
Liz
Great lunch visit! We had the mahi sandwich and the fish tacos. Both were amazing! We really liked the pasta salad too. I tried the frozen cherry limeaide which was so refreshing (with 3 olives cherry vodka) on my day off. They were very busy, but I believe it was the manager- made my day he was so nice. We will definitely be back!
Xjvftw
Perfect for Breakfast or Brunch. We loved this place. They have a great patio, and the interior of the restaurant is really impressive. Great atmosphere and even better food. The wait staff went out of their way to please us. They even loaned us a jacket. We set outside and it was chilly. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great start their day.
Plano Eats
Top 2 Breakfast downtown. This and Cafe Brazil are the only consistently good breakfast downtown. Love this place - and the servers like working there - what a nice change of pace!
NRL
Unique menu, very good. The food here is great - not your typical breakfast food (though that is all on the menu), but not "weird" either.

Not only that, but their portions are healthy and the food comes out fast. Good coffee, too.

The service wasn't the best, but it wasn't terrible either.
Juleswink
Omg! Best brunch menu, u have to order the sour cream chicken enchiladas of available . Amazingly yummy, great food, good service and atmosphere! Bloody Mary and mimosas, fresh breads, really great place!!

Watch your receipts. There is someone there adding extra tip!!

Go to for B-Fast. Always a crowd favorite and a good place to take out of towners for a can't miss meal. It is a little snazzy and the selections are top notch. This is a "nice" place and the prices reflect that but you will not be disapointed.
Nothingbutthetruth
Awesome in every way! Was very pleased with the food and service.
Foodiegurl
Dallas Staple. Never had a bad experience here. Service is great, food is great, Bloody Marys are great. I have eaten everything on the menu at least once.
CC
Yummy!. Great Brunch! Well worth the wait.

Awesomeeeee food especially brunch(busy) but very good. Very nice and friendly staff. Really nice area to walk around afterwards. Try it!

A USED TO BE FAVORITE. This use to be our favorite spot for breakfast on every trip to Dallas.
But the last few times the quality of the food and service has declined. This last trip on October 11th, the food was practically inedible. They have stopped serving the fresh fruit and the service lacked the personal touch that it had before. In addition, the womens bathroom was totally unuseable. This is sad as the restaurant has the location, ambience to really be first class. Needless to say, we will not be returning.
Dara Moss
Go on a weekday!. I've been to Bread Winners several times... and even though I love the weekend brunch menu, the quality of the food and service is 10x superior on a weekday. I ordered the Hamptons Casserole on a Thursday... the chicken in it was hot, fresh and juicy... on the weekends they do such a crazy volume that everything is prepared ahead of time. Bacon is cold. Chicken is cold. Mediocre at best. If you can get there on a weekday, you'll see Bread Winners at its very best.

Went there for breakfast yesterday and loved the atmosphere, staff, and food!!!

Yumm. I love the atmosphere of this place and they serve delicious pastries and coffee

Try their buttermilk fried chicken

Uptown Jewel. Great place, unique menu, great deserts. The place to be at for Sunday brunch. It also has a great bar called The Quarter next door. Very cool bartenders!
Jill Reilly
I've been to Bread Winners for brunch and for dinner on a couple different occasions, and my opinion is that brunch is better food wise. However, it's also super crowded during brunch on the weekend, so watch out for that! Dinner seems more relaxed, and the food is still very good!

I love cupcakes because they are under $2.00 and are an affordable luxury that can turn a frown upside down anytime I am having a bad day.

...while visiting the great state of Texas, I checked out what some call “the best breakfast” in Dallas, at Bread Winners . I’d first heard of Bread Winners about two years ago, after reading a blog post by Dallas Foodie, on how creative, unique, delicious, and fresh Bread Winners food was, so instantly it made the list. Walking through the front door of Bread Winners historical home at their Uptown location, I was immediately impressed by the display of colorful sweetness radiating from their bakery counter, showcasing a stunning display of beautiful homemade cakes, pies, rolls, muffins, and cookies. I was particularly fond of their Caramel Pecan Sticky Roll…particularly found. It’s not often that enjoy dessert before breakfast, but these looked too good to pass up. After minutes of standing in awe in front of the bakery counter and eventual
