Went to Hopdoddy for lunch and it was hopping! I had a Royale burger (wink wink to my Pulp Fiction people) and some fries. Food was good but for all of the provenance references on the menu and on the walls, I expected it to be better than it was. The fries were ok (they tasted slightly stale, I may have caught the end of a basket); I enjoyed the sweet potatoes fries from my lunch buddy better. Those were crispy and delicious. The burger was good, not exceptional. The server at the bar was pleasant and communicated right away about the kitchen delays. He was on point, floating around the bar, keeping track of everyone. I'd stop there again to grab a bite.

Fun little counter serve burger joint chain from Austin offering a wide variety of gourmet burgers and fries. The food here is consistently good, I especially like the various french fry options, and although it’s mostly a serve yourself concept, the staff is eager to be helpful. Atmosphere is very casual and approachable, making it a great place for a quick weekday bite or dinner with the kids.

Ordered the thunderbird with beef rather than chicken, sweet potato fries and the NEW Candy Bar milk shake.
Staff was very kind and welcoming <3 food came out perfectly and was delicious, even had some left overs to snack on later!

The ahi tuna burger is sooo good. The parmesan fries are also delicious. I couldn't finish the "mule". Mules are my favorite, but that one had a very artificial taste. There was so much ginger flavor (No way that it was just ginger beer) that it literally burned going down. And there was so much of it...they prepared it in a margarita glass! I will most certainly return for the tasty food, but I will be getting a fountain drink next time 🙃

Burger was prepared perfectly medium. Service was friendly and phenomenal. Our server, name started with a D, she was very patient and nice. Manager was really chill too. Came by and made sure everything was perfect. Will return!

I’ve been to lots of hopdoddys and had lots of burgers. This is the best location I’ve been able to find. Great staff, great location, great food.

We ordered the double bacon jam burger and the chicken tenders. Neither disappointed. The burger was juicy and full of flavor. All of it cooked perfectly. The chicken tenders were tender and moist. They had a good batter. Wasn’t fond of the fries. They were on the verge of being hard like show string potatoes but from looking at other tables, that appeared to be the goal. Definitely recommend either of these meals.

Lunch is usually packed and that’s the only time I visit this location. I had the Llama Poblano burger and was fantastic. Truffle fries amazing. I do wish the would put the menus at the front of the line so you know what to order when you get to the register. Takes up too much time to look at the menu when standing there at the time to order and backs the line up. Service was great and friendly. They bus tables pretty fast so tables are ready for next customers. Also like to point out this place also has a bar in it so I may hit a happy hour here for dinner after work at some point!

Hopdoddy Burger Bar was awesome!!! Great burgers, really tasty fries and also good boozy drinks! The BBQ fries were so good! They tasted a lot like lays bbq chips actually. I don’t normally like truffle anything but I must say even the truffle fries were pretty darn tasty! Their huge beers are also damn good as are the boozy drinks! Definitely going back here again!

Excellent! There was a line out the door, but it didn't take long to get to the front. We had our assigned table ready, which was clean. The burgers are massive and everything is handmade the same day.
We tried their gluten free buns, which is one of the best gluten free burgers we have ever eaten.
Their BBQ Burger (it had a fancy name which escapes me) had Jalapeno on it but that wasn't overwhelming. A great burger.
This restaurant is well managed. Even though we didn't have a problem, the one customer who did was well taken care of with a smile. Five stars. If I could give ten I would.

I’m a huge fan of hopdoddy- and anytime I’m in Dallas I make sure to drop in. I always order the tuna ahi burger (I’m a pescatarian) and it’s easily one of my favorite foods. The sandwich is a perfect balance of texture and taste.
Service is always great, even when they’re busy they are kind and happy to answer questions. Drinks are good and they have a great range of beers and soft drinks.
If you’re looking for a great burger in a casual dining setting, this is the place to go.

Fantastic! Happy hour (M-F 3-6:30) was great, I got a margarita on the rocks for $5.41 plus tip. Then I ordered my food. The server at the register was overly nice. Then I waited a while for my food but it was extremely fresh. I ordered the Primetime burger, highly recommend. The guy at the register told me it would be cooked with a warm red center. I asked instead for medium. I got the steak sauce on the side, mainly to slightly reduce calories but I ended up being thankful in more ways that I did so. The burger was very slippery and didn't stay assembled. But regardless, it was phenomenal. Fries are not included, and I opted for sweet potato fries. It was all very good!

Great place for a burger and unique fry options. This is an order at the counter and they bring it to your table style restaurant. Customer service is great and the food is exceptional. This is a great spot to grab a burger and parmesan truffle fries.

Service was great! I love that the burgers are grass fed, but the food was just meh. Will give it another try in the future.

Hadn't been here in a while and first time at this location. Burgers were tasty, staff was friendly. The Green Chile Queso for the fries wasn't as good as I remember it and I was disappointed to see that they no longer carry Main Root soda; they used to have a blueberry soda that was awesome. The cookie and creme milkshake was very good and the location is nice. I liked the windows facing the cross streets.
