We had a fairly nice visit when we dined for lunch at Pappadeaux. We were seated immediately, the food was very good, the customer service was excellent, however, it took a ridiculous amount of time for us to receive our entrees. Our server stated they were short staffed that day, and I understand that happens at times. My only complaint about the visit was the incredibly long wait for our entrees and it was rather loud, so I didn't find the atmosphere too pleasing. It was difficult to have a conversation and enjoy your party because of how loud it was.
We stared with the Crab & Spinach dip, which was excellent and a great starter for our meal.
My husband ordered the Grilled Shrimp & Grits and enjoyed every bite.
I ordered the Stuffed Shrimp with French Fries, cooked to perfection and absolutely divine, it is an entree I highly recommend if you're a shrimp lover. It was excellent.
It was a fairly nice visit except for the loudness and the extended weight for our meal, which caused us to be there much longer than we had anticipated and wanted to be. But overall, I recommend stopping by for the excellent food.

Visited this establishment on a family trip to Dallas. The food was pretty good! We went on a weekday and it was not that busy. We had a great waiter. Who made us feel very special as we celebrated birthdays. If you're in Dallas this is a must-try location. Please keep in mind there are many, so understand that this review is for the one on Oak Lawn

Nonah was a great, attentive waiter. The restaurant was comfortable and had a nice relaxing vibe. The food was great and very flavorful. Pappadeux still got it! The seafood platter. Mozzarella balls and marinara. Fried fish, chicken tender and shrimp platter. Gator tails. Swamp Thing (Big drink). Strawberry Margarita.

We went there for dinner and it was so delicious. I had their Grilled Shrimp Alfredo with Spinach and pasta and it was so good.
Their Spinach Dip with crabmeat was delicious. Our Server Chris was so nice and very attentive. The Atmosphere was very romantic. I will go back.

My daughter & I were in Dallas yesterday, we met up with my oldest daughter and granddaughter for lunch. Let me tell y’all, our server, “Royce” was top of the line like his name. Never missed a beat of being attentive even though he was extremely busy. This young man was so on point with everything. Pappadeaux’s is one of our favorite seafood restaurants. We have always been more than satisfied with our server no matter which location we were at. Just when I thought service couldn’t get any better, boy, was I wrong, here comes “Royce”! Thank you so very, very much for your expertise in what you do so well.

Food I would give an 7 out of 10. It was good but not for the prices...😬. Service tho was a 12/10 if i could give more stars i would. Our server.....I wanna say his name is Michael(that's probably not right) was absolutely amazing!! He was able to give suggestions and explain nearly everything on the menu not to mention knew that menu front to back upside-down with his eyes closed. The man knew 110% how to do his job! He was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. If this man hasn't been acknowledged for his hard work y'all doin it wrong.

Imani took great care of us for our good friends birthday, also a fellow reviewer. We were brought some warm bread and soft butter right away. Soon followed by our drinks. Everyone seemed to enjoy their choices. The salad with chicken was a very large portion and tasted great. The salmon , scallops with crayfish and dirty rice was perfect. The very large plate made the portion look small. But it was cooked just how I like, the sauce was good some spice, could've used a little more. Overall very pleased with everything, maybe a little pricey for some things. But the company was great as was the meal.

We were in the private dining room for a birthday party. The food was good. We had our choice of 3 different entrees and all were great. Service was a little slower with so many to serve at one time. Overall, we had a wonderful time celebrating my Aunt's 85th birthday.

Pappadeaux is my husband's favorite and we were coming in late after a long trip. Mike gave Great customer service and the food was absolutely delicious 😋 I had the red snapper with a sweet ginger glaze. Definitely recommend!!

We visited for Father's Day. The food was absolutely amazing! I had the stuffed shrimp. I'd forgotten how I had missed it! We don't have a Pappadeaux in Tennessee, sadly.
All three of us enjoyed our meal thoroughly. Our server was mediocre in his attention and competence.
The hostesses were amazing and helpful and kind. They sat us almost immediately.
Just a side note. Our server was wearing a mask which is totally fine (to each their own) However, in a fine dining setting... It was a little uncomfortable. We wondered if he was sick trying not to infect others or in fear of getting sick. It was just a discussion we had. I'm not knocking wearing masks. If you want to that's great. I'm just commenting that it was not a great way to make your customers feel comfortable.

If you come allllll the way here and don’t get the crab dip!!!! This was sooooo delicious and the bread was so buttery to go with it! 10/10 would recommend!!!

This place had a 700+capacity food great, staff professional and timely. They do, however need to upgrade their bathrooms badly and add capacity. Too many people to have a bathroom not much bigger than mine.

The absolute best Cajun Restaurant next to Louisiana creole I’ve ever had. The catfish and grits are amazing and the oysters 🦪 are phenomenal. Absolutely love this place!

Date lunch with my husband and we were very much impressed with this location! The Cesar salad was fabulous! It was light with crisp lettuce and seasoned! I had the pasta and it was so good! The shrimp were perfectly cooked! The only thing is that the sauce was too thin to my liking. My husband got the platter and when I tell you that was the best fried fish I've ever had, it was lol it was so fresh! We will definitely be back to this location! Can't forget our waitress Ashley! She was very nice and attentive! She made sure our order was right!

Amazing food, prepared to perfection. They brought back the crab cakes!! We had the stuffed shrimp, blackened shrimp and fried shrimp. All were excellent. Also the strawberry lemonade was really good.
