The ribs and brisket were good, but the sausage while not back was not really my jam. The spicy mac and cheese was amazing!!
Next time through, I'd definitely stop by again!

While parking at Lockharts might be tricky due to the crowded area of Bishop Arts, the trip is well worth it to have some fantastic food.
The fatty brisket, burnt ends, and ribs were all delicious and we also quite enjoyed the Lockhart slaw. The large jars of pickled onions and various pickles were convenient for refilling toppings.

I would say this has been my favorite Texas BBQ place I've eaten at.. Brisket was moist, perfect rub to meat ratio, not too much smoke flavor! Ribs were on point! That heavy pork flavor wasnt there.. Sausage dissolves in your mouth, compared to the hot dog texture sausage usually has where you can taste the processiness of it.. simply delicious! 10/10

Greeted by the bartender upon arrival. Associate that took my order was very cordial and knowledgeable regarding the menu items. The ribs were tender and tasty. The sausage was spicy but good. The smoked deviled eggs were surprisingly good. There regular macaroni was pretty good. The place is a vibe.

While visiting Dallas my buddy recommended this restaurant. Pretty top notch. Food and service was great. If you are visiting Dallas and are looking for a spot to eat check them out.
Finally the surrounding area has some really cool shops. You get to walk off some of that good food.

I had the sliced brisket lean with baked beans. The meat was lean and moist. Beans were good and had brisket in them. I like the rustic atmosphere. Super friendly staff! This is a good place to hang with friends, eat bbq and drink some beer!

No complaints here ^_^ Kiddos shared the chicken and the adults shared brisket. Bark on point. Brisket devilled eggs hit the spot! I'm so happy their brisket bacon wrapped peppers were spicy! Yesss! Pickled onions are addicting too. Super yum. 👌

Recommended by a local foodie to this Texas bbq restaurant that he is right, the food so yummy here. The best thing - you can order the small portion to have more choice to go. All meat is wood grilling for 12 hours, impressive.

Simple Texas bbq with a little flare! Best BBQ spot in Dallas so far. Brisket was tender and amazing! Pork shoulder burnt ends had a such a smokey/ sweet flavor, don’t even get me started on the original sausage, it was incredibly tender, though the jalapeño sausage was decent and chewy, potato salad was a little bland but the banana pudding was amazing!! Definitely coming back again for-sure.

Very good spot to come eat some TX BBQ. We were checked on several times. Brisket was tender, beans were tasty and sausage was flavorful. I like how you can serve yourself the pickles, onions and jalapeños yourself. Bar also had plenty of choice. Good spot if you are visiting Dallas and plenty to walk around to after in the area.

Everything here was really good...but the brisket was fantastic - not dry at all and so tender. Spicy Mac and cheese was legitimately spicy, but very good.
Ambiance was what you'd expect from a Texas bbq place, though this was my first time having bbq without any sort of tray. Eating off of just butcher paper was a new experience but it worked just fine. Seems like it's best served family style.
It's located at the front of the arts district so it's a cute area to walk around. Parking was a little bit of a challenge though.
Staff was friendly and very helpful when we were trying to figure out what and how much to order.
We were all very happy with the choice and would 100% come back for that brisket!

Wow! Might just be my favorite barbecue spot! The sides are so damn good, the street corn with brisket is the best bbq side I’ve had! Spicy mac n cheese was 10/10, as was the brisket! Only bad thing was me having this during my lunch break, now I’m ready for bed!

Good place, traditional Texas style restaurant with good barbecue recipes and sides. Food is served on butcher parer and beers in jars. The food quality is good and it gives a good Texas flavor idea. The team is friendly and despite the high customers frequency is taking good care of you.

Great food in an awesome place. We tried brisket, burnt ends, ribs, chicken and some amazing sides sides to that. A lot of food and served in pink butcher paper rolled out on the table. Really worth visiting to enjoy their great smokehouse food, I really recommend it!
