Lunch was very good. French Onion Soup, Crepes with chicken, mushroom and spinach. Fish of the day (arctic char) and pumpkin cheesecake. Service was spot on.
Absolutely returning

Never had French cuisine prior to today. This restaurant was recommended to me off the Seated App and had really good reviews. So glad we listened and took a chance by coming here to celebrate my birthday.
The food was excellent. My hubby has the special, and the pork was so tender you didn't need a knife to cut it. I enjoyed the Duck signature dish, and was immediately brought me back to the thought of the fall and Thanksgiving dinner. The flavors were just right.
We will definitely be back!

What a great experience! The food is phenomenal. The staff is even better. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone. My favorite restuarant by far! If I could put more stars I would! They atleast deserve 10 stars!

By far the most authentic and best French restaurant in Dallas. Pascal the owner is always nice and very attentive as he always checks tables to make sure every customer is satisfied. I love both the Tenderloin and the Veal Medallions. They also have the best French fries in the whole metroplex. Overall a wonderful experience for a great price and generous portions.

This restaurant was a first time for me. French provincial style of cooking and quite good. I kept it simple with crepes florentine and they were very satisfying. The only downside for me was the ice tea. Mango flavored just doesn't conjure a French experience.

There are so many awesome places to grab a good meal, but this one is truly something special. From the laid-back atmosphere and the owner chatting up the customers, to the French-speaking staff and, of course, the delicious food, you've got to make a stop here.

Lavandou is one of the best French restaurants in Dallas. It never disappoints. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Great restaurant! Food was excellent. Table of four. Three of us ordered salmon. Perfection. One had the trout. Exceptional. Great service. The lobster bisque is the best ever. Big chunks of lobster in the bisque. Very generous portions. We will absolutely be back soon! Thank you for a lovely evening.

We loved it but…
My wife and I visited for her birthday (although we didn’t celebrate at the restaurant). We enjoyed the atmosphere, staff attentiveness and the food. It was overall a great visit.
However, we had a big piece of hair under the onion soup bowl (between the saucer and the bowl). Since it was under the bowl and we had already finished the soup, we didn’t bring it to the attention of the server. That being said, we thoroughly enjoyed every other aspect of our visit and will be back - hopefully to brush up more on my French language skills.

Wonderful gem of a place albeit in a semi hard to stumble across location. Had dinner here which was delicious (goat cheese salad & branzino) but Daniel’s service was really the icing on top of a great experience (Pascal too!). He was part of the whole element of the place. Sampled two desserts here (apple tart & chocolate soufflé) both great. Credit this place for introducing me to the concept of actually getting an after dinner drink, what an excellent all around atmosphere, service, and food experience.

Wonderful experience for dinner. The food was excellent. Will be returning to enjoy the soufflé - which you need to order with the meal due to the time it takes to cook. Saw a number of folks enjoying fries as well - so plan to try that as well on our next visit. I had the grilled salmon fillet, and it was great. My fiancé had the special for the evening ('3 seafood platter'). It was also really good.

As always, Pascal and the team at Lavendou have it down to a science. The food is always delicious and the service is well, French. Thank you for every meal that we have enjoyed over all of these many years.
Edited: went for lunch today and it was delicious!

Speechless. Most amazing food I have tasted the whole year. If I could give six stars I would! Missing France after being here.

Atmosphere is 5 star. Very French Provencal. The Chicken crepes are ah-mazing! They have very few vegetarian options though. It's in a non descript outdoor shopping center and parking is easy.

Went here for a birthday and my first “high tea” experience. The table settings, decor, and environment is so dainty and pleasant!
We had tea (lavender to be specific), if course, which I enjoyed. We also had scones, zucchini bread, pastries, cucumber sandwiches, and chicken salad sandwiches (all pictured below).
I wasn’t crazy about the food, but I think some of it may just be acquired tastes and I’m not used to any of the dishes.
It’s a great place for intimate gatherings with girlfriends, or any of the women in your life.
I’m glad I went. It was a change from the typical Dallas restaurants and bars.
It was 9 of us total and we each paid $30 even.

Lavendou Bistro is a real French Restaurant located in Dallas where we can eat delicious food, pastry and more. I love it.

Lavendou was a pleasant experience. I enjoyed the atmosphere the most. Somewhat like Old Vintage Italy. The dishes were very savory. My friend had the Salmon and I had the Crepes Du Jour. It was very good and light. Perfect on an hot summer day or evening. I ended the experience with the creamy Creme Burlee. It was a tad expensive for lunch, however I don't regret the experience.
