This place was AMAZING!!!! ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE MONEY!! Treated my husband here for his birthday and we enjoyed the drinks food and service!!! 1 star short of 5 because the sauce on calamari was a bit too sweet and a whole cupof oil was poured onto my sea bass and it was way too much. It was my first time there so I didn't know it was oil nor did I know I was supposed to stop them from pouring the whole thing! I was just trying to eat it the way the chef intended...or so I thought...
Visited Ocean Primer restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the tartare appetizer was a favorite of mine. Service was top-notch.
The only minor inconvenience was finding the restroom😂
my fiancé took me here for our one year anniversary and when we walked in we were greeted with complimentary champagne and the host wishing us a happy anniversary!! it was so sweet and such a nice touch, we were seated in a booth with a candle lit with roses around it , so beautiful. are waiter was very attentive and helpful with the menu . we ordered the calamari , king salmon and lobster pasta 10/10 lots of flavor and the plating was nice as well, we a few drinks which presentation was pretty , tasty and strong , the ambiance was also relaxing and romantic, we also got complimentary dessert to take home for our anniversary, we really enjoyed ourselves and will most definitely be back for another romantic evening, the prices were very reasonable and affordable as well , we can’t wait to dine again!
Want to first say our server was excellent great service goes a long way. She gave us suggestions and explained all menu items thoroughly. Wife for the filet I had the New York strip they were a excellent entree course after our lobster bisque and ocean prime salad and wonderful calamari appetizer. Will definitely be back
We celebrated our anniversary at Ocean Prime and had a fantastic time! They went out of their way to make us feel special! We were greeted with Prosecco and were given a special desert to end our meal! Our steak was cooked perfectly and the lobster was amazing! The truffle Mac and cheese was out of this world! Our server Rodney was wonderful and attentive! We will be back!
The reviews aren't lying - the lobster bisque is some of the best you will have. The filet was seasoned well and cooked to a nice medium.
Brian, the waiter, was great! He even offered a different dessert when he noticed I wasn't eating it, but I was just stuffed! All the other staff were very attentive too. The food is delicious, but the attentiveness and service is what puts this place above the rest.
Been here several times. Atmosphere is always amazing. Husband and I celebrated our 17th and now 19th anniversary here on 7/24. Everything was nice on this visit. Only negative was his steak and my chop was really charred and tasted burnt. Didn’t want to send it back because it did take a good few minutes before we received our food and we didn’t want to wait again. Other than that everything was delish. The cream spinach was so good. The dessert was the highlight of the entire meal. Our waitress was nice and very professional.
When first entering my girlfriend and I were greeted at the door with champagne to celebrate our anniversary. We were then lead to our table that was decorated with fresh rose petals. Our waiter Rodney was of a different caliber. Rodney elevated our experience to be a night we will remember. Thank you to all who made our night special. Special thanks to Rodney!
Came for a special dinner with wifey. No parking on-site, we have to valet. Valet was $5+gratuity. The restaurant was super nice and very elegant. We got seated, hostess could be a bit more welcoming, considering the clientele that comes to the restaurant. We got seated, only bad part was that we got seated were it dripped down from the ac vent condensation. The menu was simple and not a lot of choices, but had all our favorites ( Seafood, steak, chicken, etc). Server was nice and took care of our order. They give you bread, which was nothing special. Food came out very quick. We had the Sea Bass and Chicken. I would recommend the Sea Bass which was very good. Next time I would pick Steak over chicken, but the chicken was still very good. For dessert, we had the pound cake with ice cream, which was very rich and filling. Nothing too fancy, but it tasted excellent. Overall experience was good and we would come here again.
By far a Dallas favorite. The ambiance is perfect for fine dining or a romantic dinner. I happen to be doing both tonight. Starters with a lobster bisque with sherry followed by twin lobster tales. Capping the evening with a 14 layer carrot cake.
