Someone suggested I try this pie spot. Honestly the pies were ok. I like the pumpkin gingerbread crust the best. For the price, the pie slices should be a little bit bigger or with a scoop of ice cream. The crust on these pies are awesome! If you like pies, definitely give it a try.
08/09/2023: I’ve been going to Emporium Pies since they opened when they had the wooden baskets, wooden fork, and tied with a cute string for each pie slice. The prices back then were around $5-6 a slice. I could never buy just one slice. My favorite pie of all is the smooth operator. It’s beyond good. The chocolatey-ness, richness, and creaminess of the filling contrasts so well with the yummy salty, crunchy pretzel crust. YUM!!! The seasonal pies are also good. I probably have tried every single pie there. If I lived closer, I probably would be poor and extremely chubby from the pies. Lol
This cute pie store is located in the Bishop Art district. They have a lot of fun flavored pies that are delicious!! The staff was really friendly too 😊.
THESE PIE SLICES ARE ENORMOUS. I did not realize how big of a slice they would give you. I really like the different flavors they have but it is really sweet. I know it’s supposed to be a pie but it’s little bit on the extra sweet side. I have gotten a whole pie but filled with different slices each different flavors. I think that was the best way to experience these pies by having that pie flight. If you do so, I recommend having back up & sharing with 3-4 friends. If you have a long way back home, they also offer ice stuff to keep it cool. Would come here again for maybe 1 slice at a time.
First time trying emporium pies and I'm so glad I did. I purposely waited till december so that I could get the seasonal flavors. Got the snowball, peppermint, and smooth operator. My absolute favorite was the snowball and I wish it was just seasonal and was a year-round flavor. It was light, not heavy, not overly sweet, and just perfect. The peppermint was peppermint-y but not anything special. The smooth operator, the chocolate filling was good but the crust was so salty it didn't taste good.
I could literally eat a whole snowball pie if possible.
All of the selections are excellent. No matter what you pick, you can't go wrong. The slices are hefty, and priced fairly. They're quick to delivery no matter how big the crowd is. The complimentary water is a great relief, especially in the summer or after walking the district
If you are a pie lover, I recommend visiting this place at least one time. My favorite one was chocolate flavor as you expected! If you have americanized taste, you probably like peacon pie and etc. To me, the other flavor was okay..
We visited here on National Pi Day, which my husband reminded me about it in the morning and we did a quick research and found this place. We got four kinds of slices; The Drunken Nut, In The Limelight, Dr. Love and Lord Of The Pie, and every single one was so delicious! We are happy we found this place and we need to plan another trip to DFW soon!
Amazing pies 🥧 A must-stop place when in Bishop Arts District. They’re usually super busy during holidays. We once waited for 45 mins in the line. My favorite is Lord of the Pies, a thick and generous slice with apples and cinnamon. I sure will try others when I am back.
Had a delicious apple cinnamon pie with a side of ice cream from here. The pie was great as well as the ice cream. I will say the ice cream was a bit pricey for the size of the scoop in my opinion. The environment is cute and simple. I’d recommend stopping by if you’re a pie lover!
