We recently had my son’s rehearsal dinner at White Oaks Bistro. The food was excellent and there was plenty of staff to take care of our every need. Brittany was easy to work with, prompt in her responses, and accommodating. Robert was on sight during the event and made sure everything was running smoothly. I received many compliments on the set-up and the food. Many thanks to White Oaks!

We were there today for the Easter Brunch and it was fantastic! We find White Oaks becoming our go-to place for special dining days like Mother's Day or Easter. The food is incredible and the service is impeccable. The staff is very friendly and you will have a great dining experience. And for those special days, the mountain views from their outdoor dining deck make the perfect background for your family special day photos. Kudos, White Oaks! We will be back.

We recently held our son's rehearsal dinner at White Oaks. Brittney was amazing! She is very responsive to questions and concerns, and created an incredible environment for the dinner! Robert was also helpful and worked with us to create menu options that suited our needs. All of the servers were very polite, and Brittney and Robert were always available to make things go smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful evening for our son and his bride to be!

DO NOT GO! Unfortunately I have to give it one star. This restaurant doesn't deserve a star. Our reservations were fairly early and we were told that we wouldn't be able to sit at the window because that was their busy time. When we arrived at the restaurant only two tables were occupied! I came for cornish game hen and had a back-up plan of ordering tilapia. They were out of both. So I ordered a salad and asked if they could add some salmon. The waitress later came and informed us that we would have to pay for the salad as well as for the full salmon meal. "Would I like the salmon on a separate plate?" Obviously I told them to forget the salmon I'll just have the salad. I was not going to pay $24 for a piece of salmon! The person I went with had the filet mignon which was supposed to be served with a kale and arugala salad (see picture.) I asked the waitress and she said that if the chef felt like changing the menu because something went better with the entree he would do that. Well my question is, then why have it on the menu at all? The filet was not fresh beef, it was frozen. (The dogs enjoyed it.) It doesn't end there! The waitress felt so bad, she said she would comp our dessert. However, we weren't allowed to pick our dessert she just brought out one dessert for the two of us. Then we heard another waitress at the table next to us telling a table of four that all desserts are comped for the night and what would they like! The whole experience was awful! The parking is even worse. It was so dark and there was no lighting I had to use my phone to get to the car. Do not come in a sports vehicle because you will scrape the bottom of the car.

My wife Sophia and I had our rehearsal dinner here at the white oaks bistro on a Thursday night. The staff where down to earth and 100 percent prompt and professional. The bistro and facility were even better then I could have imagined. The view with the large windows and huge porch is worth every dime. And that’s not even the best part!! The food was five stars hands down just delicious. All I heard for the rest of the evening from my friends and family was how impressed everyone was with the rehearsal dinner and location. I 100% suggest booking any event here. We’ll definitely be back!! Thanks again to Robert the owner and his daughter Brittney they were fantastic to work with.

We had our son’s rehearsal dinner at White Oaks Bistro and from start to finish we had an amazing experience! The food was exceptional! We had the Pork Tenderloin and the Capri Chicken and our guest raved about it! The staff was so friendly, attentive and helpful. I have been doing events and working with venues for 25 years and have to say this was the easiest and most accommodating group I have ever worked with. White Oaks certainly exceeded all of our expectations!!

Hidden treasure! We enjoyed a lovely evening last Friday night at White Oak Bistro!
We venture up Dahlonega Ga every so often. Each and every time we make a plan to visit this beautiful place. I call it a hidden treasure only because it’s just a little off the beaten path… but oh so worth it!!
The VIEW!! Oh heaven on earth, if you love the mountains as we do! The Food!! Oh can I tell you… you will never be disappointed! We enjoy our meal each and every time!! The chef is top notch! Funny, last week we both ordered different dish only so we could share, for we could not decide? We laughed… for we ended up with Surf and Turf! It was out of this world delicious!!!
The staff and owner are so very friendly and you feel like they’re old friends!
Before leaving we made sure to make a reservation for our next visit in June, for our Anniversary weekend!
We highly recommend that you too, plan a visit to this beautiful establishment! You can’t beat the atmosphere or the wonderful delicious entrées!!

Undoubtedly a 5 star restaurant! We made a reservation with ease and enjoyed what was the best meal of our entire trip! It would be fair to say it was the best meal we have had on any date night. The restaurant has a very elegant feel without coming across as stuffy. The music is enjoyable and even though it was too dark I am sure the wide windows offer an amazing view. Our server Crystal was exceptional as she provided us with speed, courtesy and professionalism. The hardest part of the night was trying to decide which meal to order, I picked a winner with the salmon. I will research and try to recreate for us at home it was so flavorful. The chef is truly talented and creative. The flavors were so bright and fresh, the vibrant taste made us sad to finish our plates haha. For the 2 of us we spent roughly $50 which we could have easily done at a Long Horn or other chain place. This offered a wonderful date night and a dinner that could not be topped. Completely stuffed and satisfied.
