This place is a jewel! The epitome of what I look for when I'm traveling around Florida working. I saw their sign and I just had to stop in. It was Friday, and on Fridays they seem to have some fish specials. I had the haddock and it was cooked perfectly, it's been a long time since I really enjoyed fish! Everything that I saw served to the other guests looked phenomenal! If my belly was big enough I would have tried it all ;-) You definitely have to stop by and see this one if you're in the area. Be prepared though, it's very cozy and the people are very friendly! Being a stranger, a traveler, it's refreshing to be treated like I was one of their regulars.

Nice place to stop for breakfast. Not to be confused with the lesser chain restaurant of the same name. This little local joint serves some great southern style breakfast. I was able to get biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, toast and grits for less than 10 bucks. And it tasted good! No complaints. Small seating area and was pretty full of locals. We didnt stay for lunch but it looks like they have good fried chicken and catfish.

Stopped by on a whim and BOY HOWDY was I glad we did. Everything we tried here was stellar. The gravy is out of this world and it comes on both the country fried steak and the mashed potatoes, if you’re looking to double dip in that goodness like I did. I WILL be back - breakfast is until 1 on Sundays!!!

Awesome breakfast every time we go there. Very friendly staff, small seating area but it’s always full when I go to pick up our food. Breakfast for 2 is under $20 and they are big servings. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and grits. Highly recommend trying. They have lunch but we have never gone for lunch.

Hey, this is not "fine dining". This is a fun little local eatery we stumbled across on our first ever visit to Dade City. It is sort of noisy and tables are close together but that's OK, as most everyone seems to know one another or they treat you like you are an old friend. We sort of squeezed the five of us around a table for four. Food was tasty American/southern food. I had biscuits and gravy, eggs, and bacon and home fries and I came away full and satisfied. Crissie (or Crissy?) waited on us and she was extremely funny and friendly. Made us feel right at home. About the only real negative were the restrooms which are accessed from outside behind the restaurant like an old time gas station. Whoa! The last guy had been smoking in there and it wasn't too pleasant.

Delicious Southern style food. Fresh and large portions served. Tables are very close together. Service is efficient and friendly. Lots of locals eat here. I will return and recommend especially the home made cakes and pies.

Saw this place in an article and wanted to check it out. GLAD I DID!! If you want some good country food this is the place. Everything that the wife and I got was excellent. The fried cabbage reminded me of my grandma. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back.

Very disappointed. We thought that this looked like a home cooking place (black eyed peas?) It was a very dumpy burger and fries place with a few sandwich selections. I got a BLT. Soggy bread with very undercooked bacon. Thank goodness for the fries, it was all I could manage to eat. Our lunch was a tragedy. Bad choice! Very bad choice!
