Review Ta' Bueno - Cypress

If I could give a negative five stars. I would. I ordered my food online and was very disappointed. I understand everyone’s taste buds are different but it couldn’t possibly differ when it comes to this place. Red flags was there when I pulled in the parking lot. No cars. So I entered cautiously, hoping my judgment was wrong. I looked to my left and saw only 1 family dining. Now, I want to ask for a refund of my $41 but again, didn’t want to judge the place based on what I was seeing. I ordered 2 beef enchilada plates and tried the Birria tacos for the first time. The enchiladas was gross. They were bland and had a weird smell to them. I thought the beef was grounded but instead large chunks. Enchiladas are based on cheese and there was little to none. The rice was wasn’t seasoned and had a smell also. The beans were ok but I definitely had better. The Birria tacos was ok. I didn’t quite know how to rate them, since it was my first time trying them. I must say, I did enjoy the Coke. Save your time and money by avoiding this place. Please!!!!!!

Good food, nice atmosphere. A little cozy, only so much dining room. Had the pollo a la Mexicana’ dish. It was alright. I would rate the flavor 8/10. But I do appreciate the fresh ingredients that’s a huge plus. Would try something different next time though. Drinks really do look appetizing!!

Nice place, I got the carne Casada burrito, good portion of Mexican comfort food.

I've been twice and both times were amazing. Tastes like home cooking. 🤌

First things first, you're going to wait a little longer for your meal here. That's because each meal is individually prepared fresh and brought out piping hot. And talk about unique and authentic. Love this little "hole in the wall"!

Cannot speak highly enough of this little treasure. Authentic food, great drinks, and amazing customer service! (I ordered something they usually only serve at lunch so they didn't have the sour cream sauce I requested. The guys in the kitchen literally made some for me. 🥰) They have a little outdoor patio with fans. If you're in the area, stop in and/or even order to-go. They also work with DoorDash and GrubHub.

First time visiting and we will definitely be back. Food was delicious, reasonably priced and made quickly. Juan our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. Quaint little spot with a wide menu.

I ordered the carne asada street tacos and they did not disappoint. Normally when I order street tacos from other places they come with 5 per order for about the same $10 price point. Their's comes three to an order. However, their tacos are LOADED with delicious meat and topped with onions, cilantro, cojita cheese, and sliced avocado. The avocado and cheese took it over the top for me. And they also served them with two sauce, both equally as delicious although I thought the green salsa was spicier so I used mostly the green sauce. I cannot wait to go back!
