Review Schlotzsky's - Cypress

Great sandwiches at Schlotzsky's. Love this place. Been going since 1977 when my buddy Skip was going to SWTSU (now TS). Looks like they may start serving beer and wine.

Schlotzsky's original sandwich remains one of my favorite items. It's like elevated fast food; too good to be in the same category as McDonald's or Taco Bell, for example. Describing the sandwich, with its melted cheeses, multiple meats, olives, all heated on soft, delicious bread, just doesn't do it justice—you have to try it for yourself. Back in the days when we worked in offices, I visited this location weekly. It was always exceptionally clean, service was quick, and the staff were friendly.

I have gone to other locations and have been impressed. Not here. Now not going to go back to this chain ever again. Felt Rushed. They didn't have the correct bread. Than after we ordered, they forgot it, asked us for the receipt (as if WE made the mistake!), then brought it, and then locked the door at 8:15pm when they close at 9 pm! After we left at 8:33pm, the door was locked and lights were turned off, before we had even pulled out of the parking lot. Never. Again.

Besides the young employees seeming very tense around woman in charge, service is good. However, the turkey sandwich was sadly disappointing at my last visit because there was barely any meat on it. There was honestly a sliver of meat on outside and a tiny pile in the middle. I opened the sandwich to rearrange meat hoping to get the coverage of the Schlotzsky's sandwich I have come to love, but it didn't help as there was not even enough meat to even cover the edges of the bread. Skimping on meat leaves a mouthful of dry bread and maybe a bit of tomato...absolutely nothing like the pictures online. So very disappointed!

The employees at this location are rude. I walked in and saw two employees at two registers. One on the left I went to and waited.. meanwhile another extremely rude woman walked in behind me and went to the other register. Both employee's saw me walk in first. After the woman ordered her food. I was still waiting for the one in front of me to take my order instead he obviously was not taken orders... he was looking at paperwork but yet he never told me just kept staring at it. My question is why would the other employee see me come in knowing that the other employee was not taking orders...and go ahead and help the rude woman that came in behind me ???? All the employees ignored me until I said something and called them out for being rude. Don't ever go to this location. They don't know how to treat the customers nicely. And unfortunately this location is one of many in Cypress locations that are rude to customers.

Excellent food, fresh and tasty! The staff is always very friendly and try really hard. My favorites are the Schlotzsky's Deluxe Original (extra meat) and their Chicken Pecan Salad. I could literally eat here every single day! The only negative thing I would add is that the establishment should add the ability to add the tips to your debit/credit card as nobody carries cash much anymore :-) Great job Schlotzsky's!

Very consistent quality, extremely nice employees. At times they seem to busy to answer the phone, so don't be surprised if you can't get through to a person. But the food is good and the location is clean and in a good part of town.

Sandwich was incorrect and when I called to speak to the manager I was told manager not there and “I have no idea “ when manager would be there!!! Customer service obviously not a priority.
