Great pizza. Had the Fully Loaded and enjoyed it. The crust is crisp on the outside but soft on the inside. Pizza was ready when they said it would be. Just remember that they are only open for dinner. Will definitely return!

The only negative...I wish they had an extra large! 14 inches isn't enough for three people. Beef and Basil pizza is sooo good. Happy that they deliver (:

Fantastic pizza. A bit pricey for what you get, ~$20 for a 14 inch, which I could eat in one sitting.

Just ok...... I decided to try Wood Fired Pizza because of some of the other reviews. First I was very suprised when I walked in that this place is basically a take out joint......which is ok. Your not going to want to eat there as it is basically a store front. The people were very nice and the place was very clean. I got my pizza after a short wait and went home to eat. The pizza is good....but it isn't knocking my socks off either. I still think Brother Pizza is MUCH better.

As a native New Yorker ( a title meant to impose my pizza cred,) this is up there with the best pizza I've ever had. "The" best?... I'm not sure. What may be keeping me from giving WFP that title is the gaping whole it left in my wallet.

Unbelievably Good Pizza!. We were in the Houston area visiting family and came across the most creative pizza restaurant! The types of pizza choices were out of this world. One of our daughters doesn't like red sauces of any type so we ordered her the Chicken Alfredo and it was Oh My Gosh good! The ingredients that they used were fresh and of great quality! The spices and flavor were incredible!! Oh and the restaurant was the CLEANEST I've ever been in and that is really important to us, too. Wood Fired Pizza Company is a definite favorite of ours- Would you all be interested in opening a restaurant in Kansas City? You should have seen the looks at the airport we got when we boarded carrying 5 pizzas as our carry on. Truly, if anyone disagrees with me they must have something wrong with their taste buds and should seek medical attention.

Wow!! Great Pizza and Staff. I have been a customer of Wood Fired for several years now, and everytime I go the pizzas are flavorful and delicious. From the Chicken Pesto (which is my favorite) to the plain cheese, the pizzas never fail to be loaded with flavor and you can taste the quality. When I read Ted's negative review I was flabbergasted. I questioned if he even had the right place. As a loyal customer, I took it upon myself to look further into his claims. Looking at his other review of Dave's Hoagie House he states, "I grew up in Philly. This is the first taste of home in Houston I have had in 20 years. Great food." However he seems to be confused of how long he has been in Houston, because in Wood Fired's review ( posted on the same day) he claims to be a "new arrival from Philly." These contradicting statements made me question Ted's credibility. Is he working against Wood Fired because of an affiliation with another pizza place he is fond of? I'm just not sure of the motive. I will let Tom, the owner, know what might be going on here.

UM. AMAZING.. Before Wood Fired Pizza Co. was open for business, I was a big fan of Locatellis, only because I didn't know any better. After eating their pizza for over a year, nothing else lives up to the quality that you get when you have a Wood Fired pizza.

The customer service is amazing and you can tell that they put a lot of effort into their business, other than being rudely brushed aside by a rude teenager as you would at Locatellis or EJ's pizza.

If you want a good quality pizza, do not hesitate to order it. Just beware that nothing else will live up to this place.

LOVE IT!. Living in the 'burbs can be very, well "white bread", and the more earthy, ethnic eateries can only be found inside The Loop. I cannot tell you how THRILLED I was to discover Wood Fired Pizza Co. in my backyard a few years back. It is the ONLY pizza I spend my hard-earned $$ on anymore. The ingredients are excellent, the service with a smile is superb and I love that they're closed on Sundays - family time. They ROCK! If you love GOOD pizza, you need to give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Simply the best! Even though it's not a sit down restaurant, wood fired pizzas atmosphere is not one of your typical take-out place. when you walk in you are greeted by Tom, Lisa and the kids, who are rarely too busy to chat and always give a warm and welcome hello. This family operated restaurant provides excellent customer service, but most importantly they make amazig pizza! The hot burning wood fired oven cooks everyhig perfectly: the crust is crispy on the bottom and the vegetables still taste fresh. Every ingredient is chosen carefully so it cooks an tastes just perfect, and each of their specialty pizzas has a perfect combination of flavors. There is simply no competition, it's hands down the best pizza I've had.

A PIZZA EXPERIENCE. I live in Dallas and recently visited a brother in the Houston area. For dinner that night on his way home from work, he brings home 2 pizzas called the "Wood Fire Fully Loaded". As soon as he opens the box and puts it on the table I knew there was something special about this pie. The aroma and mixture of ingredients perfectly brazed by the intense heat of the wood fired oven was something to behold. I almost hated to lift out a sliced section but the urge to eat it overcame my desire to admire it. As I bite into the slice my teeth gently shatter the perfect crust as it crumbles onto my tongue. The vegetables cooked just right, not too soft from over cooking and not too hard from under cooking, complement the assorted meats that are superbly seasoned and layered on the surface of this masterpiece. As I chew the bite the warm organic tomato sauce enhances all of the flavors on my taste buds as the cheese wrestles around with the crust and all the many toppings in my mouth. I take another bite and soon reach for another slice until there is no more. It is then and only then I pause from this incredible sensation to take a drink of my cold beer. This is not only the best pizza I have ever eaten but one of the best meals. I did not know pizza could taste this good. I wish there was one of these parlors in the Dallas area. I guess I'll have to visit my brother more often.

A Pizza Masterpiece. This is how pizza's supposed to taste. Always great professional service. Every time I go there, the owner/employees treat me like family. And do yourself a favor and get the gooey butter cake for dessert. It taste like heaven.

Good Fresh Pizza. We tried this place with word of mouth and enjoyed the pizza very much. Family-owned and run, the pizza is always cooked to perfection!

I highly recommend instead of the tired fast food pizza.

Only drawback is that it is almost entirely TAKE-OUT or DELIVERY.

Best Pizza in Houston. Coming from New Jersey where 'the best pizza' is about as intense as two guys discussing McCain vs. Obama, I had actively searched for a good pizza for awhile after relocating to Houston 5 years ago. Upon moving to Cypress, I continued to search, trying places in the area like Palio's and EJ's, only to find the dough tasted more like the box it came in rather than a pizza.

One day I was driving in the opposite direction of my usual route and noticed Wood Fired Pizza Co. Although they weren't open for business, the door was open and the owner Tom was working on some paperwork. He briefly described the pizzas to me, I took a menu, and went home. A few reviews online said they sometimes would run out of dough on Friday nights from being so busy, so naturally I had to order that night.

Since then for the past year or so I've been getting all my pizza from Wood Fired Pizza Co. The ingredients are top notch, Tom and the rest of his family/employees have been nothing short of outstanding in their service and friendliness, and if you are picking up your pizza, they will even offer a courtesy call as it's about to hit the oven so you can get there just as it is finishing cooking. The pizza is cooked with the perfect crispness.

My wife, being from the south, wondered why I was so crazed to find a pizza place as she didn't like it very much after eating Pizza Hut forever. Now she actually will ask me if I feel like getting pizza that night, and also adores their BBQ wings.

Of course you will pay a bit more than Pizza Hut or Papa John's, but you are also getting a real pizza and not a giant $5 sponge with some bland sauce and Kraft cheese.

I cannot recommend this any higher, and my only regret recently is the economy and gas prices were so rough that I couldn't get pizza as regularly as before.

Our go-to pizza spot in Cypress. Great, fresh ingredients and very friendly. It’s wood fire so expect to have a little char. I prefer mine well done for some extra crunch. Highly recommend. Totally worth the extra cost to get Wood Fire over any chain pizza places.

Great pizza with really good flavor. Had the timing down on the dot... told me 30 minutes so I hit my stopwatch when I hung up the phone. They were boxing it up exactly 30 minutes later when I got down there to pick it up. Staff very friendly both on the phone and in person.

First off, the food is AMAZING! I called to the store to ask if they do delivery and Tom, the owner, explained I needed to go online and order through Door Dash. Long story short, door dash messed up my order and I didn't receive the order. Tom called me personally and said he was making me a fresh order and would have his son deliver it to me personally. Well, my order gets here very quickly by the son( who was the sweetest young man) and even gave me a complimentary dessert with a personalized note for the inconvenience. They didn't have to do this, but went above and beyond for me. I will forever be a customer and appreciated this so much!

Excellent pizza and really fresh salads. One of the hidden treasures around Cypress. They call you back when it goes into the oven so you can time your arrival. One of our favorites!!!

Stopped in and realized it is a take out or delivery place. The owner recognized I was looking for dine in. I bought a small pizza anyway to try, an appetizer if you will. This place is great... will definitely be ordering them soon.

Wood Fired pizza is by far the best pizza in and around Cypress. They use fresh quality ingredients and their cooked using oak. It’s a locally family owned business as well. They don’t have dine in so it’s all about the pizzas!

Wood Fired Pizza Co. Is one of the best small businesses in all of Cypress, TX. The only thing that tops their customer service, is the quality of food they serve. The pizza never disappoints! Yes it tastes as good as it looks. No paper towels to soak up all the grease like the chain pizza. The fresh jalapenos have some kick and PINEAPPLE BELONGS ON PIZZA!

this place is small and cozy! I liked! I have not tried the food, I just went to pick up an order but without a doubt I will go to try the pizzas .. they are made in the oven with wood (as the name implies) and from what I could see it is attended by its own owners 👍🏻
