This is a great little family run business. I am a vegetarian and love that they will always change out tofu for any meats. If you are vegan, they will also offer alternatives for you. The food is good and service is great. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the location itself could use some elbow grease (some of the seats have tears, the flooring could use some work, etc.). No big deal though, I'll keep going back. šŸ˜‰

I have been going here for years. I am particular and prefer authentic traditional dishes. This is as close as being in Thailand as I have gotten. The food is amazing and the staff is super attentive. The place usually looks empty with only about 2 to 3 tables at a time, but they are always busy on the take out side.

My wife and I both love this place. Dinner special of beef panang with fried rice, soup and egg roll for $8.99 is always very satisfying. The garlic pepper pork is delicious as well. Good food and friendly service at a fair price, cant go wrong.

Food was amazing here! :) Also, waitress was very nice and knowledgeable when I came here with my husband on a mini date night. She knew exactly what to recommend and what we may like! Food came out spot on after that! Will come back here again for more food!

Great service!!! Must check out. I love Thai food and this place meets my standards. Soooo good. Coconut soup with mushrooms and chicken was my favorite. Beef cabbage & Catfish is amazing too.

Nice clean place. Always had good food when ordered. Now you can place orders online from their Yelp site. Just place the order and come in 15-20 minutes later and walk out the door with your food. :)

Kaboom! Guess who stepped in the room? Kapow! One of Earth's greatest joys to me is the taste of Thai cuisine. Hungry for pad kee mao (drunken noodles), I remembered the often overlooked by me, Kapow Thai restaurant, which is an eatery I always seem to pass by as I go to & fro the city of Cypress. The restaurant has an extensive menu of authentic Thai dishes, which include lunch & dinner specials that come with rice & soup. Thai tea- Kapow's Thai tea is brewed in-house, making for a more assertive flavor. The thing I appreciate most is it's subtle sweetness, since I try not to consume too much sugar when possible. Pad kee mao (Drunken noodles w/beef, heat level:medium)- With spicy fat rice noodles, stir fried together with mint leaves, green onions, tomato, bell pepper, chili & choice of beef, the pad kee mao was tantalizing & pressing all my happy buttons. The portion was filling, the taste sensational & the heat (with the addition of chili paste & spiced vinegar) just the right amount to induce perspiration w/o numbing the tastebuds. One of the signature items on the menu, do get this when you get the chance! Service was great! Al runs the family-owned & operated restaurant, after taking over for his dad who had medical issues. We shot the breeze over things such as his dislike for durian, squid & other food items which I happen to enjoy. Al modernized Kapow by adding online ordering. I'm sure his dad must be very proud of what his son has accomplished in his absence. A good amount of seating, with tables & booths. Don't expect a fancy, hoity toity ambiance to Kapow. It's a casual, welcoming place to share a meal. Parking is in a private lot, shared by Aki Sushi, Tambuli market and other businesses. I got Kapow'd right in da tummy! The pad kee mao at Kapow was delicious & really hit the spot. Eating exotic Thai cuisine, all while supporting a wonderful family business are why I highly suggest checking out Kapow the next time you crave noodles or some other Thai dish. I left full & happy. Highly recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM
