Saw the bad and good reviews, decided to give it a shot to come out with my personal conclusion. It's a good decent place. The vintage atmosphere is somewhat interesting, I came for a breakfast and i can say it was pretty good, coffee sure needs be improved, overall it was a clean restaurant, staff was kind, and my food was freshly made.
This place has great food. It's busy for breakfast but not for dinner, that's a shame because the dinners are delicious. Please consider this small business when you're looking for a great meal and friendly people. Try their fried chicken is just like mom's and is the best I've had.
Howard's Coffee Shop in Cypress is a classic diner experience. Tasty comfort food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. A must-visit for a cozy meal!
Great little neighborhood greasy spoon. It's not much to look at from the outside, but inside is pure vintage goodness straight out of the 70s! I've been wanting to try this place ever since I moved into the area. The kids and I finally made it and we'll be back for sure. Great food, reasonable prices and super friendly service. My coffee cup was never empty! Totally reminds me of going out to eat with my parents as a kid! If you're a nostalgia junkie like me, put this place on your list!
Great choice if you're looking for a classic breakfast that tastes homemade. Food is delicious, affordable & the atmosphere is comfortably familiar. Truly a neighborhood gem
Old school restaurant with slightly higher prices for breakfast compared to similar restaurants.
Despite that, I really enjoyed my country breakfast, and our waitress was awesome. I think the value is worth the expense, we'll be back.
This is the much much MUCH better option to IHOP. Cozy place with Awsome comfort foods. Great for breakfast.

Came back to visit my wife's birthday and the food is amazing!!! Very tasty and delicious. Service was nice. Will come back more often. Very surprised about the negative reviews, mostly about pricing, but everything is expensive now, thanks to Putins war. I normally leave more than 15% tip just to help out.
This place is just like eating in your Momma's kitchen. The service is excellent and the food is even better. The manager is very kind and has gone above & beyond with his customer service. I will definitely keep coming back for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Been going here with my family for years!! My favorite local shop. Its the perfect family restaurant. Nino, the owner, is the sweetest person ever. All the staff are friendly, kind and helpful. The food is very good! Sometimes I grab my usual favorites, other times I try something new. Never disappointed. It brings a good, nostalgic feeling everytime I come back. Used to come here often as a teen with my parents and brother. Now, my parents have since passed away and my brother and I still come and I bring my own children. I will always love this place.
Great dining outside. Food was fabulous as always. Lots to choose from on the menu. Nino the owner Is the best. The cook really knows his craft. I had shrimp tacos, very yummy. My husband had chilireano & enchilada was also very good. Can't wait till next time so I can order the Pork chops. You should try it!!!
I just checked out this place for the first time. Always love finding new places. It has that vintage classic diner feel. Old school wooden bar stools, 60's style leather booths... and Nice and quiet. The staff were friendly and made you feel at home. Only had breakfast, but it was tasty and the coffee was good. Felt like I was having breakfast at grandma's!
