Review India Grill - Cypress

It’s been a good amount of time since I’ve had Indian food. All of a sudden had the craving. Yelled the one closest to me and arrived a few minutes later. The restaurant is in a nice shopping center with a good store selection. Outside the store, the lunch and dinner buffet prices are posted. Lunch is $11.99 and dinner i believe was $14 or $15. Upon entry, I was immediately greeted, seated, and drink order taken. I came 5 minutes after opening, so no crowd. Restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and decor. Indian pictures throughout the restaurant. Also, a tv. The waiter asked if I would like garlic naan. Here, it’s not a part of the buffet line. It’s made to order. I requested naan. Then went to the buffet. All the food had steam coming off of it. No signs of food having been reheated. There were various foods to choose from. From what I remember: chicken tandoori, chicken tikka masala, lamb shank, samosa, basmati rice, curried vegetables, and paneer (my absolute favorite everywhere). The color and aroma spoke for the flavor. After going back to the table to finally try my food, the garlic naan came out maybe 3-5 minutes later. Extremely fresh as it was hot to touch. The taste of all the food was amazing. Very fresh ingredients. Food temperature was perfect. Everything was just the right texture. I’ve had lots of Indian food and this was a very good spot. I could only eat handle two plates. There was also a fruit/dessert section that I didn’t have the chance to make it to. I will definitely come back here. Checkout was also quick and I used the 10% offer with yelp check in without any pushback. Great spot.

This is a great place to enjoy really good indian food at a good price. The buffet is great and affordable. The have a great variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes offer on the buffet so everyone can find what they enjoy. The also have a great banquet hall if you have a large group that you want to put a program on for. You can use the buffet as part of the program or order specific dishes for your group. If you haven't tried it I would encourage you to go for their weekend buffet. One of the best that I have found.

Really nice place with hard working and friendly staff. The food is amazing. It's a bit pricy, but it's worth it. I come here about once a month and I am never disappointed. I can't wait to eat here again once restaurants open back up.

I like to come here and get food to go from the buffet, and usually when I have come in the past, at either the lunch or dinner buffet, they charged me $12/container. They explained to me tonight that it was a mistake, and that they need to charge the dinner price for a dinner to go order. I explained how in the past I was charged differently, and after some haggling they agreed to charge me the lunch price this time but dinner price in the future if I come at dinner. I really appreciated his willingness to accommodate me considering I was charged differently than expected, and I do understand dinner prices are higher. Overall I'm very pleased with the quality of the food and service.

Very good food. I had the curry chicken...excellent. The staff were very helpful. This was our first visit and didn't really know what we wanted. The server took time to guide us through our choices. We really enjoyed our visit. Will definitely be back.

I liked it a lot - came here for lunch buffet with a friend and must say the food was really good - great selection, good price, fast and friendly service - it was spicy but not too much, taste was spot on. The only thing I could have wished for is a little more dessert option but all in all great food for a great price!

The place was quiet and peaceful, there weren't any problems with the service. The food is pricey but it's predictable. The food was unusually spicey. It wasn't just bone hurting spicey. It was so spicey it made me question my existence, the universe, and why the traffic is so bad in California. I didn't get any answers but the trip was worth it for the most part.

I've been to my fair share of really good Indian food places, but none come close to how great this place was. I like spice in my curry and they were the first to deliver the spice that I love with no sacrifice of fantastic flavor, my friend doesn't like spice at all and he says that his was perfect also. I definitely recommend the Chicken Tika Masala along with their garlic naan. It was delicious, the chicken was perfect and I can't even describe how great the flavor was. 10 stars from me. It's a little pricey but worth it hands down!

A fan of this location because it is not pretentious. It's in the same plaza as Costco but very much authentic Indian fare! Delicious selections, both vegetarian and non-veg. Exceptionally friendly staff who make you feel welcome and also make suggestions if you ask! They have a lunch buffet but I really enjoy sitting down with friends to order from the menu. Servings are plentiful and the rice or naan are delightful. Get the aloo paratha - naan with potatoes and peas inside it! I have been back many times and bring others who want to try Indian food with me. It's really great with very fair prices!

This place is amazing. The quality of food surpassed all my expectations. Make sure you try everything. Service is fast and get there before noon to beat the lunch crowd.

Lunch buffet - $11.83 (after taxes). Delicious varieties of chicken, lamb, & veggie dishes. Garlic naan on point! Taking off one star for bad service & cold potatoes. Despite that, the food is great for the price.

My wife is Indian and she says the food is authentic and you can get it as spicy as you want. They have really good desert naan. I eat the chicken Tika masala. Its so good I find myself craving it. It's not the most upscale place, but the food is great.
