This is a wonderful restaurant. I got the causa and tacu-tacu, both of which were excellent. The servers were very accommodating, serving me the tacu-tacu even though it wasn't on the new menu. They also gave me some complimentary aji, which was incredible. The prices are very fair for the quality of the food that you get. This is now one of my neighborhood favorites. edit: I went back and got a pork tamal as well as the seco de carne. Absolutely delicious, and the servers were so nice. This is my favorite Peruvian restaurant in the Bay Area.

Loved the seafood in coconut based sauce. And order the Especial (sp?) it is a heavenly Peruvian smoothie with papaya, banana, milk and carob syrup 😄

Seating is armless with movable tables so accessible to folks of higher weights and folks who use wheelchairs, but I didn't pay close enough attention to the doorway access point. It was a little challenging as a vegetarian to get mushroom free options and I'm sadly allergic to those. Food was reasonably tasty and perhaps slightly over priced for the casual aspect of it, but within reason. It was beautifully presented though and I especially liked the sauce for the Yucca fries. I liked the food I had - it was all reasonably good - but I wasn't like omg about any of it.

My friend and I really enjoyed the authentic Peruvian food during our first visit! I had the seafood soup which was very tasty and had lots of fresh fish, shrimp and a great variety of seafood and my friend had the steak dish with rice and he devoured it! Oscar was a gracious, pleasant server and I really enjoy the laid back vibe and hometown atmosphere. I look forward to trying more dishes and the live music on Sat nights that Oscar told us about. If you enjoy a chill, homey feel, tasty comfort Peruvian food and great service, then I recommend this restaurant!

The food portions are generous and the flavors are delicious. You feel like you are having a meal at someone’s house - the waiters/waitresses are very helpful in suggesting dishes to try. Located off of El Camino Real and although there is street parking it is first-come, first-served.
