Awesome food, great prices and friendly staff. One of those rare places that you run into where you could swear your Mother was in the kitchen.

We tried this place on a whim. We were greeted and welcomed immediately by a friendly lady who told us about the different options. We decided to try what they had on the buffet, I got the fried chicken and it was really really good. This is just a down home, good southern food sort of place. Prices were reasonable, and everyone there was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We plan to go back.
We have been driving by this landmark for years and finally stopped in for a bite. They offer a simple "meat and 2" buffet style. I had the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans with cornbread muffin. All were cooked acceptably well. The decor is pretty basic, but the staff was friendly and attentive. It merits a return trip for the coconut cream pie (or so I hear).
