Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar

We stumbled across this place while trying to pass some time and we were very pleased with our discovery! Our server Michelle was amazing! Not only was she very nice and helpful, she was juggling multiple tasks and doing it with ease!! The food is above average compared to other chain type restaurants, and the Clam Chowder is some of the best you can get! If you're in the area and craving some seafood, we definitely recommend you check this restaurant out!!

Great food, cocktails & service. Aisha was an excellent bartender and very attentive. The owner, Michael, was very friendly. Fast service with great food. Everything was fresh & perfectly cooked. Great prices. Nice outdoor patio. We liked it so much we came twice (to try different daily specials). Our only complaint is the chairs outside are uncomfortable & parking can be limited. The girl in front of us was small, and you could see the chairs were cutting into her hips too.

This place is INCREDIBLE. Never had a bad meal here. I have never had oysters but love to try new things. The shots are super unique and a fun way to try oysters. So while I figured out I don't like them, everything else is top notch. Seafood is always perfectly cooked, even Pappadeux's doesn't do it this good!! Oh and Kate, the waitress, is literally the best server I've ever had anywhere. She's awesome. Seriously, go eat there now..you won't be sorry 👌👌👌

The chargrilled oysters were just mediocre and a bit over cooked with very little flavor relative to some others I’ve had elsewhere. The lobster roll as you can see from the photo, not a lot of lobster for $24. Hence, it was not worth the money. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve paid more for lobster rolls, but it was overflowing with lobster. The other food at the table was comparable to my food review - nothing exciting about the food. The good…the drinks were excellent.

Service was good, steamed oysters were very good as well as the catch of the day which was Californian Sea Bass. Drinks were excellent, ordered a Painkiller and a Mojito. Definitely will return for an oyster fix! I will try the lobster roll or the lobster grilled cheese, my only hesitancy this visit was the market price for lobster, surely a lobster grilled cheese isn’t $25?

Not sure what's happened to this place. Started eating here a year ago and the first 4 or 5 visits were on point great experiences. Staff was very pleasant and attentive, the food was great. However since then its been steadily going downhill each visit. It really started going south after Amy left. Anyway, we swore our last visit would be the end, but gave it another shot today. Walked in at 2:00, there were a handful of people inside. We asked to sit outside. Was seated and...Crickets. Waited until 2:46, then decided enough is enough. Could we have gone to someone and asked what was going on, yes... But I think as a business, the awareness factor is on them not the customer. After their recent and past performances and 15 minutes without even a glass of water, we were just too annoyed. Its a shame, at one time this place was amazing.

The food is always good and fresh. The drinks have been somewhat inconsistent but that could be to staffing issues as many restaurants are suffering from currently. We had the appetizer sampler, the lobster roll, wings, shrimp, and oysters. The wings are probably the only thing I wouldn't get again because they tasted frozen but everything else I would go back for. The lobster roll was very flavorful and I'm going back to get it again this week.
