Signature Burger

Their food is always good and it's become a favorite of mine and my boyfriend. We often bring our dog with us as they have outside seating and they're always sweet/concerned that he has everything he needs. Highly recommend any of their burgers and love their wraps as well. I just wish they were open later!

I ordered from them last night via grubHub, so this review is for their delivery. Just a couple moments after I ordered, I got a phone call from the restaurant. It was a lady, asking for me by name, to let me know that they didn't have whipped cream-- something I had requested on my milk shake. Not a problem at all, but she was so sweet and concerned about it, I was already feeling positive about this place. She apologized, hoped I wasn't heartbroken, and said she'd see me soon. About thirty minutes later, she did! The nice lady on the phone also delivered my order. She again asked if I was Sarah, and then we had an incredibly sweet and friendly conversation as she gave me my food. I asked for her name (it's Ursula!), because I wanted to make sure I could point out who was so kind to me. This was already the best customer service I've ever experienced from a delivery order. When I went inside, all I could think was "I really hope the food is good, too." And it was! I got a classic American burger with Ono bacon fries and a chocolate shake. My girlfriend got a BLT+A (avocado) sandwich with onion rings. The burger was enormous, on a brioche bun, and solidly delicious. The fries were hot and the bacon was nice and chewy. The onion rings were crispy and delicious. We both really loved the chocolate shakes especially, which were the perfect consistency and still cold. The cookie & brownie we got were both homemade and very yummy. All in all, the food was probably 4/5, but the service definitely makes this place a solid 5/5. Simple, no-fuss hole-in-the-wall type burger joint in Downtown Culver City. It's inexpensive for the quality of food you get. The signature burgers--all named after countries its inspired by--come with a side of fries or salad. I highly recommend trying out their extensive selection of gourmet fries. My favorites were the kimchi fries and guacamole fries.

I have been in search of eating a great burger before I go on a cleanse and health binge next month. I read the great reviews up above and was sold. I live 2 minutes away from this place so I packed my things and headed there before it closed at 3pm (according to the website). To my surprise and disdain it is closed and apparently has been for about a month (according to the bartender at Rocco's Tavern nextdoor). I'm not sure about the details. There is not a sign on the doors. So definitely call before you go. I settled in on Rocco's tavern. I will let you all know how their burger compares.

I'm not a burger person, I never eat burgers. But this place I actually dream about and treat myself once a month. The Tajmahal burger is amazing (with garlic aoli) and if you're vegetarian they can make all their burgers veggie, and their veggie patty actually tastes really good and is fresh unlike other places.
