This place has excellent food and wine and friendly service. My wife and I came across this place somewhat by accident while traveling and loved it.
Such a great spot, Yummy food and great wine!!!
great spot for a glass of Vino and a bite to eat.
The avocado bruschetta is the best I've ever had!! Super cute, quaint, intimate wine bar with amazingly fresh, delicious food.

Thus far, only had take out from Sara's, but the food was exceptional! The vegetarian lasagna had plenty of flavor and left me wanting more. The tiramisu is possible one of the best I have ever had. The salad was big and plentiful with a balsamic vinaigrette that wasn't too strong. The waitress I picked the order up with had a resonating, hospitable energy. I look forward to future visits and going with friends for a dining experience.
The food is excellent. I usually order the same thing...Pizza with bolognese sauce which is divine . But whenever Sara can convince me to try something new I'm never disappointed. This time we tried the shrimp scampi with fettuccine- divine!! I love this place!!!
Such an unexpected surprise, with 2 strikes against it, in Culver City and on Sepulveda Sara the Wine Bar Manged to Hit a Home Run!
Authentic Italian food. Wonderful atmosphere. Excellent Service.
So yummy! Fresh and delightful. Great staff. The leftovers were great too.

Visited Sara the Wine Bar a few months ago--I was briefly in the area and it was near my hotel. Delicious food and great service on a beautiful night.

The best kept secret in culver city
Great food and plenty of wine and music
Amazing as always. Sara and her staff always go above and beyond to make your meal amazing...
Sara The Wine Bar & Restaurant has been sitting quietly on Sepulveda Blvd for many years going back to when Culver City was a good place to get a smog check but fine dining, no way! I found myself working nearby and went for lunch one day. One of the best salads ever. Four years later and I know the owner and the staff. Now that they're open for dining inside again, my wife and I went for dinner recently and now that Google nudges me to write a review everywhere I go, I had to write about one of my favorite restaurants. The food is special as it tastes homemade with its own special qualities. Their salads are A+++. If you order a pasta with any of their sauces, ask for bread because you'll want to wipe the bowl clean. Best of all is the prices are better than reasonable. The wine selection is very good and again, prices are moderate. Go, eat, drink, and enjoy.
Went here for dinner and had some small plates with salad and it was amazing. The wine was great, too, which was no surprise.
I come here all the time. Love the service and the food is very authentic. Now they have Brunch on the weekends! Which is awesome. They have mimosa specials, lattes and avocado toast with poached eggs. I'll definitely be coming back for more!
An outstanding local place for top notch Italian food that isn't too expensive, hitting far above it's weight class. The Mel Formaggio salad was perfectly balanced between the tartness of the dressing, sweetness of the apples, and creamy/earthiness of the blue cheese. The lamb gnocchi was delicious, and the gnocchi in particular were so light and fluffy. My date had the shrimp ravioli, shout out to the sauce there. And let's not forget about the wine, fantastic selection overall but the Pinot Noir and Cab Sav from Paso Robles were balanced, had body, fruitiness, and not too tannic. Friendly wait staff as well. Call for reservations. My only regret is not coming here sooner, can't wait to go back.
Liked this place a lot for a quick bite or a winetastic night. Food is reasonably priced, specially the pasta dishes or the pizza. Underwhelming charcuterie and cheese plate. Usually busy on weekends, reservations accepted. Limited parking in the area.

The service is very personal. Food is delicious homemade pasta. Owner Sara is always there insuring all is on point.
Good area for dates. Super friendly staff. Awesome happy hour selection. Parking is small and limited, ended up on the streets. Many selection of wines to enjoy and have a good conversation over. Recommend for folks for small parties and somewhere to chill. Do it again.
Great food and great value! The staff were very friendly too! We'll be back again for sure!
