The entire experience at Bombay Food Junkies has left me speechless. I've never had food with this much flavor and detail. Each menu item was a masterpiece of its own. The service was beautiful and it felt as if I were speaking to family or a long time friend. To top it all off was the dessert being a magical mango salad. I was given details on how to make it at home for my family, Bryce and Emily would devour it. I also could not leave without getting a piece of cheesecake to go as I was too stuffed to eat it there. I needed to prepare with my stretchy pants lol. I love cheesecake so much that it was our wedding cake even. This vegan cheesecake surpassed any ideas I ever had about what amazing cheesecake should taste like. Overall I give this experience 10/10 ++!!!
Bombay Street Food Junkies has had a pretty successful run as a food truck, and I'm happy to see them expand to a brick and mortar restaurant. Flavors and dishes were unique and interesting, and I really enjoyed trying all 12-13 courses with the option to get seconds on anything I wanted. Though the location is a little out of the way for me (in St. Ann), it's well worth the drive if you have a hankering for a South Asian inspired dinner - but only on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Otherwise you can check their website for where the food truck will be on any given day for lunch.
Good!. Flavorful and creative assortments of classical Indian fare. It doesn't have the full spice power I would expect from indian cuisine but still overall worth a try.
Delicious!!! We had kachori chat, vada pav, pav bhaji, gobi & fried rice, masala fries and chai. Everything was delicious. Had to wait a little while for the order. Staff was courteous. Felt a bit expensive but understand vegan restaurants are a little expensive.
Overall a very good place!
One of the best and complete vegan restaurants i have visited.
STL is can be proud for these guys.
Tried chick bites with mango habanero sauce and vadapav with fries as sides.
All are amazing and i started to wonder how chick bites can be this amazing and that being a vegan option.
Ambience is very Authentic and truly Indian.
I like the way they serve water in a reusable glass just as in way back home.
The vadapav is also amazing and the patty is too good.
The desert was rose falooda with real flower pieces and some basil seeds.
Staff are very welcoming and friendly.
The only down side is they take a long time for the food to be served.
If you want to try fusion version of Indian food, This is the place to have. The ambience itself inviting. Art on the walls, tables and chairs were unique. Menu was simple but delicious, we tried Naanza (Pizza version of Naan), Kachori Chaat and Faluda Ice cream. Not typical taste but the it is new and delicious. Will visit again and try other dishes in the menu too.
I drive pretty far out of my way to come to Bombay Food Junkies. The space is bright, it has very nice energy, and the food tastes so good. I can’t peel myself away from the Samosa chole. If you are on the fence, my advice is to absolutely give this place a try, what they do they do very well.
I stumbled across by accident, so glad I did! Always greeted with a warm welcome. As soon as you enter, the aroma is so intoxicating! Mixture of seasonings and pure love! The Pav Bhaji with the vegan buns!! Oh my! Pure deliciousness! Not to mention the blueberry pie milkshake with the coconut whipped topping. Called in work tonight just to enjoy the goodness. Full and in heaven!!
Full flavored Indian food that you would never guess would be vegan. So much variety in their menu, and even kombucha on tap. See you again soon Bombay Food Junkies! Happy Diwali :)
The food was phenomenal, as were the desserts. The owners were very kind and gave us the full rundown as this was our first time. Amazing vegan food!
The food was absolutely phenomenal. I had the Oreo shake and it was amazing. The butt’r chkn was better than any I have ever had. This is going to become a regular spot for me.
