It was a great experience. I decided to have the chef inspired course selections, and it didn't disappoint. From the tuna tartar to the salmon entrée. We did get there early, like 5:30, and it was not busy but by the time we were leaving, they started to grow the crowd. Oh, and the cocktails were interesting but very good and they have a very large whiskey selection. I will eat here again.

A delicious meal! I would highly recommend the scallops, definitely the best thing on the menu! The seafood was great. Worth the prices for sure!

The Brussel sprout appetizer is an absolute must. Every drink I tried was fantastic and the Cajun Salmon was AMAZING! My wife and I will DEFINITELY come back here to try everything we didn't order our first time.

I was hesitant to try a new restaurant right now, not knowing how restaurants are having to change operations due to pandemic restrictions. However, we were very pleased with our first experience at Cobalt Smoke & Sea and look forward to returning! The restaurant itself is very neatly decorated and has an outdoor patio as well as indoor dining available. We dined on a Friday evening and enjoyed the live music outside. We were warmly greeted and promptly and kindly served. The Summer cocktail menu featured some comfortable staples, but with added mixology flair. I opted for the Newtown's Law cocktail, but next time will look forward to trying the Pineapple Express or the very neat-looking Peach Pop-Arazzi. We started with Truffle Fries (which was served with a delicious garlic aioli) and the Caesar Salad (a bit of a small portion, but it was delicious). For our entrees I selected the Spring Risotto and added a crab cake to the side. My husband ordered the Duck Fat Burger. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Though we were stuffed, we ordered the house-made "ding dong" dessert to go, and it was very tasty. All in all, we had a very good experience and will look forward to returning!

Always a great experience here! They have a nice, relaxing ambiance and the service is top-notch. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. The food is always amazing and they have delicious, creative cocktails that change seasonally. Highly recommend! Our most recent visit consisted of the Impossible Margarita, the Zillionaire Matchamaker, the Chilean seabass, truffle fries, an espresso martini and cheesecake for dessert. Yago, the bar manager, was the one taking care of us and was amazing. Everything was wonderful!

This place❤️. I want to come here EVERY NIGHT! The drinks❤️ the food, but the drinks!!!! Yago Diniz is the most excellent bartender/waiter I've ever had.. best drink in my life . I'm in my 60's, so I know it's the Devil May Come. His creation.

We came here for a company dinner and we were all very happy with our food and cocktail drinks. The sea bass was excellent, moist, flavorful. They also change their menu based on season. Service was great as well

The restaurant is very accessible and appealing. It is female owned, we found out. My wife and I had the crab cakes, which were very good. I had the roma crunch caesar and my wife had the smoked seafood chowder. My entrée was smoked cornish hen with sweet potato mash, brussels sprouts, lardons, shallot, dijon beurre blanc. It was fabulous. My wife had the sea scallops mediterranean (dried herbs & spices, olive tapenade, creamy polenta, neapolitan sauce) which she found to be extremely salty. She loves scallops and she could barely eat these because of how salty they were. For dessert we shared lemon cheesecake which was delicious. All the cocktails are specially made. The impromptu margarita was just tasty. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and we are planning to return soon.

Eclectic, fine dining with land and sea choices. Loved the ceaser salad. Upscale casual dining. Limited menu, but prepared very well. Excellent service. Covid prepared with spaces tables. Very clean. Full bar with in house specialty drinks.

Adding to my original review as I've dined here a second time. Service is still excellent. The food overall is still great. Anyone on the fence about eating here, should definitely give it a try. Original: Wait staff is attentive and the food is extremely good. The spend here is a little on the high side (it won't break the bank), but food is high quality, so I don't consider it out of line at all.

Wow, what a wonderful new restaurant for St Louis. Excellent food and great service. Locally owned and taking care of our St Louis community through The Matteo's Mob Foundation. Multiple LARGE electric trees inside and outside creates a new vibe ambiance combined with a touch of romantic atmosphere. The smoke flavors in each of the dishes was just enough to create a spectacular flavor without overpowering the dish with smoke. The Burnt Ends and Short Ribs were excellent. Can't wait to go back and try the Pulled Pork Pernil. The owner, Bernadette Faasen, was walking around talking with customers; this personal touch is so hard to find today (see my selfie with Bernadette).

Wow!! What a difference a year makes. Went there last night with friends and the whole menu had been revamped. Excellent seafood choices that were equally prepared and presented. Drink selection and live light music on the covered deck made it on the short list to return again. Thxs

My meal was pretty good . My cocktail was amazing . Our server was also amazing . We usually sit at the bar but it was reserved we hated that but we got over it . Our server really made up for our disappointment of the bar being reserved.

We came back here after maybe a year of being away, to celebrate our anniversary. We were not disappointed! To start, the hostesses were accommodating to find us a perfect table with a view of the outside because we wanted to be inside. Although the only off-menu item being served today was the soup (smoked shrimp corn chowder), we enjoyed the regular menu items we had. The food was very good, and the shrimp chowder was, as well. Shari was our server, and she went above and beyond with patiently helping us to pick our entrees. The dessert (a brownie turtle sundae) was also very good. Overall, exceptional service, and food served tasty and on time. Everything helped to make our anniversary celebration more special.

Enjoyed the experience. Food and cocktails were delectable. Plenty of staff to service us. We were there at 7:00 on Saturday. Very busy! It was very loud in there so difficult to have table chat. That is my reason for only 4 stars.
