Just ate an early lunch at this adorable family run diner. Stumbled upon it and so glad we did. Dynamite menu with something for everyone. Kind and friendly waitresses. Bright and clean decor. Makes me so happy to support local businesses, especially in these challenging times. I can’t wait to go back!! Highly recommend the avocado toast and their hash is a MUST!!!!!

Nice small breakfast spot with tons of personality. The staff is simply amazing and the food was excellent. They are taking covid-19 seriously, so there isn't a lot of seating at the moment, but that is a good thing. Really friendly and you can tell that it is a fixture of the community. Great options, and anything that is served with a smile it always a dish worth going back for.

Today we tried J.P. Spoonem's for breakfast. All I can say is that we had one of the best breakfast we've ever had. The food is fresh and absolutely delicious. I had the Arizona Benny with a side of corned beef hash. My wife had the Greek Benny. Our waitress was kind and attentive. We sat outside today- there are 4 outdoor seatings and numerous seats inside and a u- shaped counter for those who prefer a true diner experience.
Since it was our first time there she welcomed us as if we had been going there for years. We will definitely come back again.

Found this place today. Was looking for something different from Denny's or ihop and I think I found it. I had the corn beef hash with grits and orange and coconut French toast. It was amazing. Best corn beef hash I've had in quite some time and the grits was nice and creamy! Definitely going to be our new breakfast spot. It's one of those hidden gems! It's been around for a long time. Staff was super friendly and so nice. Definitely a place where Families go every week for years to come. I think the staff sees children become adults in this place lol.

My family and I stopped here for Brunch after my daughter Kayla (student at JWU and a local) was raving about how much of an experience J.P. Spoonem's offers. She was ABSOLUTELY correct!
We loved everything. From the warm and welcoming greeting at the door to the delicious freshly made food that was brought to our table, it was a memorable and fulfilling experience.
All of the staff are friendly and the food is fresh and flavorful. We wanted to come back the next day to eat before we hit the road to head back to NYC, but they are closed on Mondays. I was very sad about that.
But I am so excited to know that when we visit Rhode Island in the future we have a go-to spot ready to welcome us back.
