This is an awesome place to sit down and enjoy a good burger and chips. The shakes are honestly why I would return. They are some of the best made with real ingredients for once. Thankyou! The only thing is we found it a bit odd they charged for a side of ranch (.75 cents) and $2.00 extra for a fried egg... I mean a bit extreme could considering 12 eggs cost about $3.00. Kinda made me laugh. But good quality food overall.
Don’t let the naysayers dissuade you. Come to Burgatory with an empty stomach. The onion rings are amazing. I’m sure the fresh chips are great too but they pale in comparison to the perfectly breaded and fried onion rings. Make sure you grab a pint of something good on tap. Notice I haven’t even gotten to the amazing burgers. Get a milk shake for sure. We have tried multiple burgers here. You’ll love your meal. The service is great. This was my first visit to Burgatory & I really enjoyed it! The drinks & food are very good! The staff was really nice. Our server was friendly & attentive.
A burger place with both vegetarian and gluten free options? Yes please! And their house made fries are too sure for.
The best beer battered onion rings! Spicy ketchup is delicious (and made in the restaurant). Good burgers!

Ok. If you haven't visited a bugatory, you're missing out! Amazing burgers! The best onion rings! The atmosphere is amazing! The clever heaven and purgatory theme permeates everything. You can build your own burger with an amazing array of options or choose from one of their absolutely amazing, chef created burgers. No matter what you select, I am sure you will love it.
They make their own potato chips, I am not a fan, but you might be.
Their milkshakes are amazing. Just be careful when ordering the milkshakes with alcohol. They pack more of a punch than you realize, and the shake is so delicious you will forget you're having an adult beverage.
This Burgatory is smaller than some of the others but is well laid out with nice parking. There was no wait, which I'm shocked! Perhaps we were just lucky.
Highly recommend! Great casual date destination.

Food is pretty good. Amount of rub on sandwich depends on who is cooking. Milkshakes are a MUST have!
Ordered a custom burger (with beer cheese, bacon, and egg), the Triple B burger, and the grilled cheese. I personally am not a fan of paying more for fries per plate and then only getting a small handful. The burgers were good but the triple was over cooked. Service was quick and efficient. The kids menu is great for picky eaters! Loved the theme. Would go again.

We ordered the Holy-Mole guac, and it was very refreshing and cold. I just think the chips that came with them had a bit too much salt sprinkled on them.
My husband ordered a medium Meat Your Maker burger with fries, and it was perfectly pink and was a really good texture.
I ordered a Piggy Butter & Jelly with coleslaw and that’s the best decision I made yesterday. The candied bacon was great, paired with the coleslaw to break the taste. I could also see how some might think it’s a bit too sweet, but I personally loved it.
I couldn’t eat anymore, but I had a hard shake to-go and I would even say my Espresso Love tastes better than some other choices from a milkshake chain nearby.
I wasn’t able to catch a photo, as I was happily sipping my really awesome milkshake in the car - there were coffee flavored bits and pieces to add texture.
Service was great, we were checked up on a couple of times without being too aggressive. Refills orders and checkout were quick. We were out of there in an hour, while being able to enjoy their outdoor seating with a really great view. Also - the server had her mask on the whole time and stayed at a distance!
Talk about a good Burger at Burgatory! This was the first restaurant we tried when we came to Michigan. We were looking for overall a good burger for dinner and we found the right spot.
I order a BYO Burger with a Elk Patty, Egg, Bacon, Cheese, Short Rib and Avocado... it was delicious! We also order the Truffled Gorgonzola Fries to start, they were cooked to perfection!
The restaurant itself was very nice and modern looking.
Only complaint we could have was service was a bit slow, and it was not busy at all during the time we were there. Also the drinks we order were very sour.
We would come back here again to try out more and recommend you try it out also!
Best Burger I have ever had!!! Menu selection is very impressive and very reasonably priced. The funny sayings on the wall and atmosphere were entertaining. Employees were friendly and service was great. Can’t think of a single negative thing to say about this place. I highly recommend it to anyone who has taste buds and enjoys good things.
Love the craft burgers, choose from their menu, or create your own! The baked beans are a little spicy but flavorful. If you don't enjoy the kick, then stick to the French Fries.
Milkshakes are good before or after your meal. We love stopping in for lunch.
The milkshakes and burgers were absolutely delicious! We dined-in, had quick, wonderful service and left absolutely stuffed. The fact you can customize your own burger right at the table on a notepad was SUCH a cool feature. If we are ever passing through PA again, we'd come back!
Incredible flavors. The beef was filled with flavor and a perfect temp and cooked with incredible add ins. The bun was a little much. But the flavor of the meat carried thru very nicely. The nachos were crisp and filled with flavor too. The quac was flavorful with a touch of salt and lime flavors.
