Trani's Grille

So, we legit had to stop here, partially because of the name, but then we drove up and saw big solid doors and all windows were completely blacked out. We weren’t even sure what kind of food they served, and more and more it just appeared to be a gentlemen’s club from the visuals, but, it’s an eatery. So, we parked and went on it. Very friendly and boisterous staff. The waiter and cook (maybe) were willing to intermingle, and help you with what was good. They actually have a pretty good size menu, and everything we had was good. None of it was knock you out of the park good, but plenty good for you to give it a try and see what you think. Unfortunately, I forgot to take any food pictures, but I did get a nice night shot of the building with a full moon glowing behind it. ;)

Service needs Improvement. As I walked in, the servant was chatting with other customers and saw me walking in, but did not bother to even say hi. I waited around 5 minutes like a looser, on till someone finally walked up to the register and asked how may I help you. The stake was good, but side dishes needs Improvement. When it came to pay, I had to get up and stand next to the register again like a beggar, on till they finally gave me the check but of course he didn't get off the phone in order to do so. They seem to be very nice people, but definitely need to go through customer service training.

Good food - not great but good. Food comes up fast and the place stays busy if our late-lunch visit was any indication. The fried pickles are excellent - not too salty, the pickles were still crisp, and the breading was crunchy. My chicken parm on homemade bread was tasty. I typically ask for light sauce and didn't think to ask this time. The bread is pretty big so if anything the sandwich could have used more sauce. The husband's chicken panini was a bit of misnomer because it was served on ciabotta and not pressed at all. Chicken was bland, but he added the leftover ranch from the pickles. Cannoli was yummy - the filling is delicious (they do not make it there) but I wish they had skipped the chocolate syrup drizzled over it. Would stop here again if we are passing through the area. The pizza looked pretty good... Our server was awesome
