Little pricey for teriyaki beef and chicken and avocado, but it was good. Rice was better than most places and meat was tender. Teriyaki was just right now too sweet or funky flavor. If you get a large combo, portion should be enough for two.
I had family in the city and I decided to check it out. Everything on the menu looked phenomenal. I had the steak with rice, beans and bananas. It was so delicious! This restaurant reminds me of a place called Spike’s that was directly across from where you’re located now. Where nasty Yoshinoya is . Your restaurant is amazing The Spot is The Spot. We can’t get enough and we are so happy you guys are here. The flavors are Mouthwatering and the service is amazing
Had a teriyaki chicken bowl and it was not that good. It was already after 9pm and they were still open. The drive through of Yoshinoya was long so I thought I would try it out. It's in a not so good area. I asked for one extra teriyaki sauce and they wanted to charge me $.25. I will NOT be back for
It's kind of surprising that you can find the best teriyaki place in the SGV just behind a Yoshinoya Beef place (ick!) but that's where you will find The Spot - a hole in the wall serving up the tastiest teriyaki sauce around. food is usually great but customer service is actually terrible! the cook wouldnt do anything until the cashier finished counting change… she restarted counting the change and all he did was stand there lol. so dumb!
Yeah, been looking for a new teriyaki spot and The Spot, really hit the spot. 😉 I got the beef and chicken plate with cooked veggies instead of salad and substituted white rice with brown rice. YUM! Big portions, good prices, great ingredients and no MSG!
Great place to eat for teriyaki bowls. They always have fresh avocados. Don’t forget about the burgers either. They even have a veggie patty. Must try and add to your favorites when in the area.
