We went to Captain Whidbey for a romantic dinner and it didn’t disappoint. The drive to the restaurant was sublime and the location of the in is magical.
From the moment you arrive until you leave, you will feel relaxed and you enjoy the moment.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Our group sat outside for a drink then moved inside for dinner. The octopus risotto was amazing and the French fries were super tasty. Would definitely eat there again.

Lovely setting and fabulous food! I had the vegan risotto (it can come with charred octopus), which was full of local mushrooms--so delicious. It would be nice to stay at the inn, but for now a wonderful dinner will have to do.
It's such a beautiful place with an enchanting environment. Don't rush the experience that is the Captain, go out to the deck and breathe in the serenity.
Felicia made the lunch perfect. She knew everything about the plates and drinks. She was friendly and personable. Two of us had burgers with fries, and they were great. Two of us had the salmon. I am in total disagreement with Zach . We just came home from dinner there. And yes the place is lovely and the service was good but the food was phenomenal in every aspect! Sean, the executive chef actually came out and discussed how he does his cooking. Every phase of our meal was unique is he too
We stopped in here for drinks and appetizers with our friends. They don't open until exactly 4:00 pm and not one second before. Once we got seated at the bar, we proceeded to try a number of drinks and wine which were great. We had some appetizers like a charcuterie and mussels which were nice.

We've been to the restaurant at the Captain Whidbey several times and always enjoy our time there.
The views are exceptional, the cocktails creative and fun and the care that goes into your experience is awesome. My favorites on the menu are the burger and the charcuterie.

Amazing seafood and atmosphere. We sat at the bar and had amazing craft cocktails as well!
The food here is pretty good, not fantastic, but definitely good. The view of Penn Cove adds some nice ambience, and I'd recommend getting drinks out on the deck.
Fun, unique, romantic, cozy setting, great service and food. It was a perfect spot to celebrate my birthday.
