Cute decor. Ate in the back bar and restaurant. Group of 30. Staff was very accommodating, great service! Food was delicious, fish and chips were so light and flakey, not fishy at all, Cole slaw was different, but very good. We were from all over, East coast, West coast and Mid west. Thank you very much! :)

In mid may i got a room so I could take my kids swimming, I ended up getting bit all over my body! Im a very clean person & my bed at home was fairly new! I found a bed bug & had to throw away my bed & pillows because I bought them home with me from Ameristar! I told the front desk girl & she said well the room was complementary! No apologies, no I’ll see if we can pay your er visit! Not happy about this experience! Won’t be staying again, this casino has went down hill! Customer service is not the best, there’s never towel in the pool area, & there no way to win on the boat it’s like flushing your money down the toilet! Only good thing is the sports bar! The lady that helps manage the bar cleared our table & threw our things away even though we asked the waiter & bar tenders to keep our spot because we where going outside to smoke! I’ve seen better days & had much better experiences! This will no longer be my choice casino!

Top notch all the way around. If you are looking for a night out at the casino, Ameristar is the only choice in my book in the metro area. Every one of the employees i interact with has been a class act. I can't say that about my experiences at the other establishments in the area. Keep up the good work!

They have a restaurant called Club 38b for the top tier players. Twice now that I've been in line waiting to get in there has been guests that have stormed off extremely upset. We used to present our ID and our card to get in but now you have to use an app on your phone. Invariably the older people do not have the app cannot figure out how to get the app and are told they cannot enter the restaurant. So I pose a question, why offer free food to your top tier guests just to tell them they can't eat there? Inside the food was good and the staff was friendly. They should have let the people in and told them to go to the players club to get an app afterwards not just shew them away.
