My go-to thai restaurant in the OC! Family owned restaurant with delicious Thai food! I usually get the pad thai, pad see ew, pork jerky, and the boat noodle soup. Have been a regular since finding out about this place. Must try!

The food was fantastic, the service could have been better. But I would definitely go again. The pineapple fried rice was some of the best I've had.

My husband and I have been going to MaDee Thai for years, and this is by far the best Thai food we have found in the Newport/Costa Mesa area! Their pad Thai is the best I’ve ever had - it’s always fresh, not super greasy and the quality it consistent. I cannot reccomend this place enough!

One of the best Thai I've ever had! It was delivered piping hot and the flavor was incredible. Will absolutely be adding this into my rotation of monthly take out. Try it out you will not be disappointed!

This place is amazing & the food was perfect! We ordered Larb, Coconut Shrimp soup, Thai spicy fried rice & stir-fried tofu & veg. Everything was spot on, the perfect spice level & not too greasy/heavy. Yum, I can’t wait to try other dishes!

This Thai restaurant is absolutely amazing. The Panang Beef Curry is great! (Don't forget to dump your rice into it - a trick to soak up and enjoy all the great sauce, so ask for some extra steamed rice). The Crying Tiger is amazing as well. It has so much flavor and it was very good, cooked to the perfect temperature. I've had Crying Tiger at many other places and the quality of the beef has been bad and the meat overcooked. No beef should ever be cooked over 135 F. The Pad See Ew is great (I prefer it with chicken). I'll be eating here quite often in the future!
Quick update, this restaurant is missing from the food app I was ordering with. Really disappointing. I hope they bring it back. Cheers

Don't go here for fine dining, it's got that hole in the wall feel. The food here is known as "street food" in Thailand. All that means is it's simple, good and you will not be hungry when you finish. The noodles are amazing and the Pad Kra Pow is excellent (order it with a fried egg on top, so good!). Very friendly counter service. A nice sized menu with lots of variations and best of all they are making it authentic. Too many Thai restaurants are Americanizing their food and it's a shame, MaDee is not one of those.

Absolutely delicious and authentic. It may sound crazy, but the orange chicken was our favorite! So crispy and it reminded me of a desert rather than a traditional entree. I would also say the sticky rice with mangos is a must get. Absolutely delectable! We also ordered pad see eew and mildly spicy panang curry which were also good. Huge portions, great atmosphere, quick service, and very clean. Thanks for the great meal!

This is a great little place for some Thai food. I came here last night and ordered the pad Thai. Both my friends and I had Thai iced tea, which was really delicious. The interior of the restaurant is small, cute, and quaint. The service last night was a little bit slow, with a wait time of about 15 to 20 minutes. I would definitely come back here again for some Thai food when I come to Costa Mesa. It’s a good, casual place to have some Thai food. It’s not too fancy, so you can just get in and out. I will definitely come back here again, this was my second time here. I would definitely recommend coming here if you were in the Costa Mesa area as well.
