The food here is perfectly prepared, cooked, and served. The options here are plentiful as it is a sister restaurant to Honda-Ya restaurants, but don't come here for the izakaya experience. This is more for the people who come here to get something they know they want. The Butakaku Teishoku(Braised Pork Belly Combo)or instance, is what I come here for almost every time, as well as the Wafu Hamburg Steak. The qualities of meats, vegetables, in-house dressings, service, and drinks is above standard but EXPECT TO WAIT 5-15 minutes longer than other places. It's always worth the wait for your food, however. Maybe they're short staffed in the kitchen, or their menu size is slowing them down?

Nice atmosphere and selection of food and sake. I heard two elderly gentlemen conversing in Japanese at the bar while eating, and that's usually a sign that the food is good and authentic 😁 their housemade red pickles are excellent

Great food. Super nice inside. Sometimes there is a wait because there are not a lot of tables. Worth the wait.

Their super crunchyroll was a combination of a regular crunchy roll and a dragon roll. And I maybe bias because my favorite rolls is crunchy and dragon, but that was seriously a really good roll and I would come back just for that. Their curry katsu was good, it was moist inside and crunchy outside. But when you compare it their super crunchy, the metsu is just mediocre.

Love this place. Food is homey and delicious, price is really good, and portions are nice. Also the staff are lovely.
Very tasty yakisoba, curry, ramen, poke... everything coming out of the kitchen looks great! Fun place to go try a lot of things, with a very varied menu, and many cheap options.

Great food at great prices. The servers and chefs are Japanese so it is a legit Japanese restaurant. Not saying others owned by non-Japanese people aren't, but there is a certain reassurance to knowing your food is being prepared by someone who most likely grew up eating what they are cooking. My friend and I ordered the Deluxe Bowl, but opted for salad instead of the rice. It was delicious!
