The place was packed during a week day lunch. Service was friendly and I liked that they had variety of menu options with different price ranges. Spicy tuna on crispy rice on the tapas menu only came with 2 pieces for $8. I also ordered the salmon ikura bowl and it was very good but way too much rice. I felt bad leaving 3/4 of the rice uneaten.

The best ever 😍 I checked into the Ayres hotel after a long day of traveling and my Uber driver recommended walking over here to grab some sushi. So glad I listened. I ordered ‘to go’ but the host was very friendly and accommodating. He brought me a to go water and grabbed me a seat while I waited. Food was ready in under 15 minutes. I had the shark bait and I 100% recommend it. It was different and it was so delicious!!! The gyoza dumplings were good too! Wish I had one of these where I live. Thanks for a great meal!

This is a lovely sushi restaurant at small strip mall near the ayres hotel in Costa Mesa. Prompt service. On the chefs recommendation menu they have a wide variety of rarely seen nigiri that are just amazing. Definitely recommend trying: -Black snapper -goldeneye snapper -red snapper -pigfish (isaki — if they have it) -baby yellowtail They have a bunch of rolls that are amazing and I recommend dropping by here if you are in the area

Been here before. Sorry about pics. Nit the greatest I know. So I wanted sushi and it was about 9pm. This place is close to the airport and I was dropping off my friend. I ended up just ordering a chicken teriyaki bento box. It was very good. Most drinks are not refillable. Extra charge for refills. But the meal was good. Also ordered shrimp 🍤 tempura. Was excellent! I highly recommend this place .

Perhaps my favorite sushi restaurant in Costa Mesa / Irvine area. Their happy hour and lunch special are both pretty great. I would aim to come at those times. What's special about ETC is their creative rolls. The names can be intriguing but the way they roll is just different from most sushi restaurants and add that with the fresh quality of the fish you've got a winning combination. It's a small restaurant but the service is quite nice.

Really liked it. Tried Hokkaido uni today, it was good but Santa Barbara uni was great, lol glad I like the cheaper ones 😆 sweet shrimp were delicious and the head fried at perfection. Long wait for food but it was expected for a busy restaurant.

I love the Randy roll. My wife eats an entire one herself and doesn't want anything else. I also really like the Ninja Assassin roll. The Sunday morning roll is good, and I recommend asking for an extra side of the creamy sesame dressing that they drizzle in it. The Dark Samurai roll was average. The Shark Bait roll was not that great. The stuffed jalapeno was a bit crunchy. The baby yellowtail was average. The Udon soup is fine. They have a variety of tapas style hot appetizers. The garlic edamame is great. The tuna crispy rice is great. The ambience is great.

Being an Indian I always felt weird about eating sushi /sahimi 🍣 coz its raw but after trying rolls & Sushi at ETCetera, now I visit this restaurant at least once a week. Friendly staff, quick service and delicious food 🥘 - what else can we ask for. “CHILLAX” Roll / Geisha hand roll/ Yellow tail/Tuna/Scallops in Sushi and Green tea ice cream in desert are my favorites.

I didn't think I really like miso soup until I tried it here. It's really good. They have some good vegetarian options. Not many, considering the size of the menu, but the bento with tofu was quite tasty.

The sushi rolls are pretty good. We chose three rolls and got the garlic butter edamame. The baked roll is a little mayonnaise-heavy, but if you like mayonnaise, it’s all good. Otherwise, they use spicy unagi sauce which is delicious. It’s a very loud restaurant but it’s open until 10pm during the week so it’s a good late-night choice.

Service is consistently friendly and caring, the food is always delivered in top quality without any frustrating delays, and the flavors are just delicious. I’ve been coming here for a long time and have never been disappointed, its just a welcoming experience every single visit. These guys just do it right, and most importantly, they never fail at it.
