This was my first time at Plums Cafe greeted with a smile. Loved the outdoor seating. We had an amazing serving who was very helpful as we explained it was our first visit and could not decide on what to try. With his helpful description of the dish we were very excited to try. The choices recommended did not disappoint.

Chocolate Banana Waffle - great presentation - fresh banana - hazelnuts gift it a good crunch Biscuits and Gravy - tasty gravy - biscuit is crispy - bacon is good. Probably better on the side so it stays crispy - some of the egg is undercooked Turkey Avocado Bacon Pepper Sandwich - really good cilantro mayo - fries are okay 3-2-1 Blast off - decent portion - crispy bacon Mimosa - good Coffee - okay Pro Tip - make a reservation online to reduce your wait time

This was my first time visiting this establishment with a small group. We made a reservation and were promptly seated when we arrived. Overall, the food was very good and had a good spread to fit everyone's needs. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a breakfast or brunch location.

Food is warm, fresh, and tasty. Staff is super friendly and efficient. The wait time is not bad, even if it's super busy.

I’m visiting from out of town and this is my friend’s favorite brunch spot. His French dip was the best I’ve had. I got the shirred eggs and they were refreshingly delicious. Get the side salad - lots of fruit and stuff in there! Cold brew was good too.

Gréât brunch expérience. Some friends and I choose this restaurant based off the reviews and it did not disappoint. Even during prime Brunch time, parking was easy & service was quick. I got the Salmon Hash which was 👌🏾, and my drink the Basil Hayden was pure, rich and strong. Definitely would recommend!

We visited this place for breakfast on a workday. It has a great atmosphere and amazing service. The food is fresh, has great design, and has great quality. The menu has very good variety for every taste. However, there were small imperfections that showed a lack of attention to details, and forced me to give it 4 out of 5 stars. A sunny side up egg was not fully cooked. A trout fish was burnt on one corner. The pepper and salt on the table were greasy and plugged. If the owner reads this, I hope he/she considers this as an honest feedback to make this place a Fabulous Cafe!!!

Very nice casual, modern design, and friendly staff. Because of their popularity they have a 45min. staying time. Considering the type of restaurant its adequate. The prices are reasonable.

Looking for someplace new for Father’s Day breakfast and I found Plums Cafe + Catering on Instagram purely by luck and the photos of the meals posted are the first thing that got my attention and thank God I made a reservation. When I saw the line of people waiting to get it in, I was sure we were in for something special. Trust me! The food is even better than it looks. Everything was amazing from the food to our sever and the portions were extremely generous. Great food. Great service. Dutch Baby, Vietnamese egg bowl, western berry omelette, home made biscuits and gravy, blueberry pancakes, the Hail Mary bacon Bloody Mary and the outdoor patio seating area.

Great first experience dining here. We were seated right away and our service was amazing! Caitlin was our waitress. She was super nice and so attentive. We received our meal quickly and I really appreciated how we weren't rushed. We didn't have to ask for water or coffee refills. The memu had so many tempting choices. The spinach & feta cheese omelet was so delicious and the Dutch Baby was exquisite. Berries were fresh and sweet. The latte was the perfect touch. If you plan to be in Newport Beach, consider dining at this splendid location.

Ordered the Santa Fe Eggs Benedict and Mama Guava cocktail, both were delicious. The drink was very refreshing! Very cute and chic dining spot, don't be fooled by amount of people, they move rather quickly and will be seated soon.

One of the best bfast stops in Costa Mesa! Service is indoors and outside . A bit tight on seating: great alcoholic beverages on hand as well. The bacon bloody mary is beautiful to look at and pleasant to imbibe for sure🤩parking can be a problem too.

Amazing brunch spot in Newport! Make sure to start with the Dutch baby. The meal seemed a little overpriced but was very tasty!

I couldn't have asked for a better brunch experience. Parking was easy, it's in a plaza with other stores and restaurants so there's a convenient parking lot. I was seated immediately at 10AM on a Sunday, there were plenty of outside tables. It was a little chilly but there are heaters on the ceiling so I wasn't cold for long. The servers and employees were so attentive and friendly, I never had to wait for more water or flag down someone for help. I ordered the Dutch Baby and the biscuits and gravy, both of which were fantastic. I highly recommend both, especially the biscuits and gravy. Each element from the bacon to the gravy was flavorful and elevated in a way I haven't had before and really enjoyed. Overall lovely food and amazing service.
