Ordered the sashimi plate and the fish was excellent. You'd be hard pressed to find better quality for the price. As an added bonus they actually have genuine wasabi. Will be back again.

Jan 14 2021 I called from the suburbs of Chicago to ask questions prior to placing an order as a surprise for friends who live locally. Obviously I know nothing about this restaurant. The very nice lady I spoke with helped me thru the order with her recommendations and explanations. We had everything settled and were almost done, and she assured me she did have time to answer one more question. Suddenly the phone was hung up. I c/b and a man answered. I asked to speak with the lady again, he said we're busy, order online or come in. I said she was almost through with her sentence, and he hung up on me again. He was so rude, I have taken my business elsewhere, and won't ever be back. There is more to a good restaurant than the food and the prices. I gave Aomatsu two stars instead of one, only b/c the lady was so nice and very helpful. Otherwise, if it were possible, it would be zero stars.

With an easygoing but still authentic feel, this restaurant is one of me and my friend's personal favorites in Corvallis, and is certainly the best place for quality sushi and rolls in town. They have both Japanese and Korean cuisine, and their friendly hosts will help you choose something to your tastes. Be careful of eating too much for your main course- their desserts are also amazing. A favorite to show visitors in town are the tempura fried icecream balls, which serve two people each. Also try their house salad; you won't regret it.

Delicious Japanese and Korean cuisine! We order sushi from them regularly and have enjoyed some items from the Korean menu as well. All were tasty and fresh. The staff are very helpful and kind.
