Decided to try them today after driving by several times but never actually stopping. Omg, everything was delicious! My father and I have tried BBQ all over and I always joke about no one can touch his BBQ. Seriously though, the food was excellent. The ribs and chicken were both juicy, full of flavor and tons of meat! By far the best we've had and that's saying a lot! We are both very picky bbq eaters. Great job! Will definitely be back!!!

If your looking for GREAT bbq, this is the place to go! We drive a distance and it's worth it! Very generous with servings, staff is super friendly, affordable meals, and of coarse the food is great! Chicken is very flavourful, my favorite thing to get with plenty of sides to choose from. The ribs are also great and very meaty!
Great food , great service and great atmosphere. Have been coming here for years. We wait all winter long for this place to open. Just had the sons graduation party there. Everyone had a great time. Highly recommend every to stop on in and enjoy the hometown favorite place.

My husband and I went this past Saturday from our home in Syracuse. It had been many years since we had been to Bobs. We were reminecing about when our kids were younger and we lived in Cortland. So, we decided to take a drive. When we got there it began to rain but, we didn't care. We ordered the brisket, ribs, and half chicken with salt potatoes and corn bread and happily at in the car. The food , sauce were amazing. Best bbq ever!! And the corn bread....omg! I fell in love with it. We will deffinately be back very soon. Thankyou also to the wonderful staff..... they were fantastic.

Fabulous food! Huge portions. Super cute outdoor setting. There is a pavilion so if it should rain you can still enjoy the food. Awesome place for bikers to stop! We will be back for sure.�
This is going to be my new favorite spot! Definitely not lacking in the smokey flavor! I am picky about my cornbread, usually resort to just making my own, but Bob's was amazing!

This was my son and I first time at Bobs.. we thought this barbeque pit was Awesome.. From the great friendly service to having a an excellent dinner to the outdoor seating.. The prices are worth the meal.. Bobs is real !!! not a box restaurant.. one of a kind !!
This is a great short trip up 281 after getting off 81 in Homer. A little pricey but worth it. See for yourself on the menue pics I took today (May 18.) This is as good as anything as I had anywhere in the south or midwest. YES! The atmosphere is quite cool as there are picnic tables privately dispersed throught a well manicured out door area. Its almost as if you are camping temporarily. Very private yet very public. It is a nice change of pace. They do cater as well as they have a large covered paved area for rent so you know it's a good place for a huge get together. It is nice not having to drive to the south for great outdoor true bbq.
So my wife in great fashion tells me love there is a BBQ place getting good reviews and it's only a short drive away so we hop in the car and drive to the middle of no where and find this cute little BBQ spot just surrounded by trees and shrubs. So we both order different combo platters and share what we could lmao. The food was delicious and definitely we will be coming back this summer.
Took a trip out to Homer recently to try out some BBQ at Bob's Barbecue and it really lived up to it's reputation. Ordered the big box dinner (1/2 chicken, 2 ribs, brisket and 2 sides)...enough food for two. It is really worth the drive...
Another excellent meal at Bob's BBQ! No wait. Pleasant service. Great food. We got a brisket platter, a pulled pork platter, and a pork ribs platter. The salt potatoes are a must, as is the corn on the cob. Their cornbread was outstanding. Family-friendly, park-like atmosphere. A local favorite.
When you see a roadside stand you may question the choice but Bob's BBQ was great. Portions were huge. My wife and I shared a combo and we were both full. Plenty of parking and lots of places to eat outside in their garden areas. Restroom look like Port John's but have toilet and flushes. Outside sink to wash up. Very pleasant stop you will not be disappointed.
On the way to Ithaca so we had to stop! Yum yum smoky deliciousness!The only bad thing was the skeeters coming for you when you're eating outside. It'd be sweet if they could build a nice chow house, but other than the bugs the outdoor area is quite nice.

I liked the brisket a lot but I feel the sauce i chose might have just been not a great choice because it made it taste odd at times. Still loved everything else and would happily come back.
I wanted to go again the next night. So happy Bob's is open for the season. Worth the 26 minutes we waited in line! The BBQ chicken. Us so good!
Always stop through, whenever possible, traveling from Ithaca. Food is sooo good. Their staff of courteous young people keep the place movin' & groovin', cooking up the food, serving the customers and making everyone feel welcomed. Totally worth driving the few extra miles through Homer before jumping on 81.
My husband and I decided to take a ride to Bob's BBQ for our first time and it was worth the trip...Food was fantastic while enjoying their abundant outdoor seating.

On trip down from Rochester. Perfect stop for my hubby, myself, and our almost three year old. Food delicious. Wonderful outdoor dining in park like setting. Cute play area.
