This is by far the best seafood restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. I would highly recommend this place to any and everyone that has a love of seafood. The menu is simple but the quality of the food shines.
We went On a Saturday for lunch. We sat near rail and view and beeeze made for a wonderful lunch. All our food was very good (grilled or blacked fish). Service was great . Pricey. But same as any other place on the waterfront.
Our waiter Sean did an awesome job, the food was delicious. For appetizers we had the raw oysters. The Mahi Mahi and Redfish specials were perfect. For drinks my wife had a Mango Sunset and a Margarita and I had Lone Star with lime. Thank you Sean and Doc’s for going above and beyond on a very hot day.
I'm not a fan of fish and that's something that I should be eating more to because I am Diabetic, but I have to say that I really liked the food it was so very good and know that I will be going back again and our waiter was awesome and on top of everything. Sorry I don't remember his name

Docs is our go to place when we are here in town. We visited twice on our stay this time. The food is excellent along with the service and the drinks. I had a pina colada one night and a tsunami the next. The views are excellent. We were there one evening and got to watch the sunset. Beautiful. They even treated our son with utmost kindness. Amanda and Whitney were are waitresses on each night respectively. Their customer service was very excellent. We will keep coming back!!
Everything about the experience was thoroughly enjoyable. I got the surf and turf and my wife got the grilled shrimp, salad. Our server, Jolie, was personable, knowledgeable, and enjoyable. This was our first time to Doc’s and it will not be our last!
Food and service was great...the waiter we had was fantastic and he reaped the benefits of good service. Polite and professional will win every time..I didn’t catch your name but thank you again for the promptness and genuine care you provided during our visit...5 thumbs up from me👍
Our food was delicious and the service was great. I had the fried shrimp. Someone had the tuna tacos and he loved them. This was not our first time to go here. We were here several years ago and had a great experience then as well.
We loved everything about our experience here, I got the crab stuffed flounder and my husband got the yellow fin tuna tacos. We highly recommend both you will not regret getting these meals. As for the service that was great as well we ordered 1/2 dozen of oysters which was brought out to us pretty fast, and they were delicious! We also had no wait and our server attended us quickly as well (went around 5pm on Sunday). Don’t let the negative reviews deter you from checking this place out, we will 100% be going back!
Delicious! Loved the open breezy atmosphere on the water. Loved the live music. Great service. Did have to wait to be seated, group of 8, I think we got there when there had been a fishing tournament or something, on a saturday at dinner time, it was very busy?
The food was amazing! First time here and I’ll definitely recommend it to anyone. Got to see a beautiful sunset too!! Service was great. It does get really busy so be expected to wait before you’re seated.
Met a couple of friends for dinner. The food was good and there was live music. The sunset views were amazing! The only issue we had was that the music was so loud we had trouble conversing. Otherwise a great evening. Would definitely recommend this place, just sit back from the stage if you wish to converse versus listen to music.

Doc's never disappoints! Fantastic service, food, and atmosphere. This is definitely a must stop restaurant if you are visiting Corpus Christi / North Padre Island. Our favorite is the stuffed flounder. The blackened chicken salad was pretty good as well!
We were in town for Soccer championship and found this place hidden on the edge of the bay. AMAZING. Bacon wrapped shrimp and cream cheese. OMGAH. Beverages were ice-cold. Waitress was perfect, always smiling. What a fantastic dinner I had with my mom and my husband ❣️❣️❣️
First time here and it was great! The tuna sandwich was probably the best thing we ordered but the po boy was also absolutely delicious- the pickles were super zesty and crisp and the remoulade had a great tang! Our server was really great and did a great job handling multiple tables at once.
So these kinds of places are common along the coast. However, very rarely do they execute as well as this place did for us.
We waited a little over an hour for a table, which was exactly what was estimated by the hostess. So we wandered to the downstairs bar for a drink and to enjoy the view of the water and giant bridge coming into Padre Island.
The food was great for all of us. Perfectly cooked green beans, great rice and good seafood. Our server was quick, friendly and checked on us regularly. Our only critique is that the chips that came with the queso weren't as crispy as they should be, but it is the coast and moisture everywhere does that. Another plus is that the tables are not wedged into the dining rooms. There is plenty of room to walk and conversate without bothering other guests. We would definitely go here again.
This was my second visit here and it did not disappoint. We had just finished a tour of the sealife center in 104 degree weather and I was a tiny bit concerned that it was going to be hot, but I guess an AC and a dozen fans placed everywhere did the job. A crabby toddler insisted on "more animals" so I promised he could see animals here. I was not a liar. There were some fish hanging out near the top, several pelicans, and the grackles were daring enough to come up around the table. I was the most excited about the two dolphins I saw jumping around. Plus all of the boats and barges that went by, toddler subdued. There was a hilarious snafu with the plate I ordered. It was delicious, I commented as such, then confusion set in as the stuffed flounder tasted an awful lot like chicken. Delicious chicken. I asked the waitress what I had ordered, in case I somehow mistook the menu. She was so sweet and apologized profusely, let me know I was not in fact crazy. I kept the plate of the chicken because I did not want to give it up. I was surprised when the manager came to check on us and I appreciated his kindness. I will order the stuffed flounder on my next visit. The chicken dish I had was crawfish stuffed chicken. I highly recommend, coincidentally it wouldn't have been anything I thought of originally to order.
Peak season be prepared to wait. Off season you can walk right in. I recommend going around 4. We are regulars but from dfw. We are plotting our first dinner before we get on our flight.
The sauces here are on point. Fish prepared correctly. Everything is delicious and staff is friendly.
Met someone at White Cap Beach and they told us we had to go to Docs for dinner and a sunset. Man, she was right! Awesome atmosphere and great service. Forgot to get a picture of the food until we were done!
This place was amazing! The food was Wow! Drinks were good and strong! Loved the live music and atmosphere. We had a fantastic date night! Will definitely be back!!
Amazing. Went there bc we were craving seafood and they def didn’t let me down. Our server was perfect. There when we needed her!!! Food was great. I suggest the Cajun fries!!!!
My family went in the early afternoon so there was no wait for lunch. There is no AC but natural wind. If you are sensitive to heat, you might want to reconsider. Food was great. We ordered seafood queso, which was on the saltier side. Ahi tuna tacos comes with green beans and rice, which were tasty. Seafood salad had a great flavor.
Service was the very best there is. Annie our waitress was the best ever. She alone made us glad we chose to eat at Doc's. And then the atmosphere sitting over the water was sublime. Perfect breeze. Then the food came & we were in heaven. If you go & there's a wait!? Then just wait! It's so worth it.
Water view or even waterside at Docs Waterline downstairs! The views are incredible of the bridge and boat traffic plus lots of dolphins, pelicans and fish! Prices are fair! Oysters are super fresh, and the Margs and Bloody Mary’s are great! They have an app that send you freebies!
Was looking for a good burger & my husband wanted good fried seafood. We found it!! Bryan waited on us & had the most awesome customer service. In fact everyone was so nice & attentive. Will definitely return 😎
